[THEME] Themed standard android widgets

Hi folks,
I decided to "buy" photoshop, and start editing the standard android widgets, I hope you guys like them
The result is there, and I'm really happy about it.

You can use this one on froyo ;-) and i'll try to make a fully transparant version.. shouldn't be that hard i guess.. when im home i'll give it a go

Hmmm strange.. did you adb push the file and not install it? And is the normal app working for you?

Ohh dear my bubble is burst nevermind.. I'm trying to learn how to use photoshop so I don't really care if it's already there
And I'm going to theme all the stock android apps... so this one belongs to that too ;-)

BTW the link to the other thread with the metamorph package only includes high res, so that won't work for e.g. Hero.

Is this actually the xperia arc rom? I thought it was really really hard to port from a HDPI device to a MDPI device?
EDIT: Ok I get it, based on CM7, using Arc launcher. Sounds good, I'll try it in a few days

Settings issue
i noticed that the settings app got lost i will add this to an new release tomorrow

Unfortunately I can't test new ROMs until the end of the week - what's working and what isn't? I.e. wifi, 3g, etc etc?

because its the whole cm7 base everything that works in cm7 should work on this rom too

GPS and WiFi / HSPA works fine.
But as soon as i try to add a widged, SE home crashes :/ But maybe thats because I flashed A2SD
Now reflashing without A2SD

I flashed it out of curiosity
It's a good start but all the visual elements are a bit too fine/thin (perhaps because of the HDPI->MDPI port
Apart from that it has some nice aesthetic touches to it
I'm now restoring my NANDROID from my previous ROM because you can't really do much without the Settings app in a newly flashed ROM
Good start though

Can someone please add screenshots? If you ported the ui from Sony I'll definitely try this rom at this weekend

I'll definitely test it then. I really like CM7 and adding Xperia stuff to it only makes it more appealing. I'm just wondering how smooth it is. I tried the Arc launcher and found it to become a bit laggy when using a lot of widgets.

Thx for the work! ported this over to the mytouch slide forum. only thing couldnt get right was the light sensor, for now. guessing it's something in the framework, will look later.

COOL theme! can improve though ....
A few issues: the folder drop menu background looks pixelated and distorted, maybe can use a pure black background? Also, the word in the search box is invisible because is white color..
On my Galaxy Note, the position of "All", "Recent", "Running" is too high..should be lower a bit..

Good start.

I don't trust that method then.. sorry if this will offends you.. i hope you have two version of your updates, so you can get more supports on both .. i'm lookong foward for policy change.. anyway, it looks good for an update to see via your screenies.. im a mdpi phone user.. thanks

Does anyone noticed the resemblance to lp sense clock? Just want to know if someone has found a way to modify lp sense launcher??? New clocks doesnt look that nice on that launcher as it looks like old sense and seems out of place.

these widgets will no longer show the weather as they use the igoogle weather api which no longer works
the only way to get it working again is for the maker of the widget to change the weather api to something else
as reported in this post in the original thread

i now use fancy widgets with a sense 4 clock that i modifeid to be transparent ..in the second pic it has weather animations after unlocking the phone but i believe thats only available in the paid version of fancy widgets

since the time it did not show the weather, i also changed to fancy widget & also disabled the background so that it would merge nicely with the wallpaper

I am gonna make these my dock/homescreen icons. Just have a couple more requests please, if you don't mind SLP :fingers-crossed:
Folder for these 3 :
Games (maybe a folder with any video game on it or game controller)
Apps/Utilities (either is fine)
Websites/Links (maybe a globe icon on a folder)
And regular metallic knobs for these 2 :

Not sure if you actually wanted a folder icon lol so let me know if you wante the folder icons in the round button format. I think the light was a bit off so I will try to re-do the folder ones, but here ya go for now
