DO A BACKUP BEFORE CHANGING ANYTHING!!!
For some reason, my .zip doesnt want to be flashed, so instead push framework-res.apk and CusSystemUI_hdpi.apk with ADB to their corresponding places! Delete unlock_alldpi.apk from /system/app ( MAYBIE IT IS CALLED A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT.THIS IS THE NAME OF THE FILE IN GERMAN RETAIL ROM, AND IN ORANGE FRANCE IT IS CALLED DIFFERENT SO PLEASE SEARCH IT A LITTLE, AND YOU WILL FIND IT.) If you dont know what is ADB, please dont do anything! NEXT: Open your build.prop and find the value debug.sf.hw=1 and change it to #debug.sf.hw=1 (NOTE THAT YOU ARE ADDING JUST ONE SIGN IN FRONT OF THE VALUE!) Save build.prop and close it.
Restart the phone and enable ALL ANIMATIONS in Settings / Display.
You will have an AOSP theme with CRT lockscreen animation, and ICS transition and window animations!

Why is this posted in android themes? That framwork res won't work on any other device, so post it in your device's section. Also, remove the pictures that show you downloading warez. They are not allowed and this is a dev forum, nobody wants to see you stealing their work.

I agree with you on that specific photo.
However, we don't have a forum for our device here in xda, no matter how many pm's we've sent to mods asking for one, they probably think our device is not popular enough, or I don't know what it is.
So for that reason I think this is the most appropiate place to post this thread.

Another thing, although it says Motorola motoluxe in the title, you should have a bold warning right next to the download link warning people not to flash if this is not their exact device.

General Info
I do not have a Nexus S to test this on, so I would appreciate it if someone could a.) alert me, preferably on twitter, when a new build is made, and b.) let me know if the theme I post here works.
This theme is extensive with over 2000 edited .png files and more than 35 .xml files.
There are no icons included with this theme. If you would like icons, then you can use ADW.Launcher or ADW EX download Minimalist - ADW Theme.
If you would like to donate to me for my work in this theme, then you can download the Donate version of the above mentioned theme. Search for "Minimalist Donate - ADW Theme" to find it.
If you would like to port this theme to any other device or use any part of it for your own doing, then you can download my images and edited .xml files from this post.
You do not have to ask me if you can port this or use any part of it. You do not have to credit me for any of my work in this theme.
I will not be checking this page frequently, but I will try to answer any questions posted here whenever I update the links. If you want a quicker answer, then I suggest saying something to me on Twitter (@david1171_).
This theme is for the official CM7 Nightly ROMs.
Theme Info
The widgets are transparent with white text. I recommend using a dark wallpaper.
The font included in the theme is the Ubuntu font.
If you are using Amon_RA's recovery and the theme is not applying after flashing, then you need to use clockwork recovery.

Install Instructions: PLEASE READ!!!
1. Set MetaMorph delay to around 1000 (My exact number is 1054) then press Close
2. Press Unzip/Extract new theme
3. Navigate to where you have Minimalist_Lockscreen_Icons.zip located
4. Select the file
5. Press close on the on the pop up that appears
6. Press Apply all!
7. It WILL force close com.android.phone when it applies the Phone.apk, I do not know of any way around this.
8. While the force close pop up is on the screen, another pop up menu will appear behind the force close pop up and the buttons will say either Continue? or Stop; you must quickly press Force close on the force close pop up, then press Continue? on the other pop up menu; it will then start applying the framework-res.apk
9. The device may freeze up at this point, if it does freeze up (mine did), then wait about 30 seconds, then pull the battery and boot your phone
10. Everything should be applied now

Thanks for this! I was the one you emailed about this theme and the NS, and I'm really glad you made a version for this phone. It works without a hitch, and combined with the ADW theme you made, I now have a really good looking phone =)

Take the LatinIME.apk from /system/app/ of the Nightly build you are using and push/place in /system/app/ on your phone.
Code:
adb remount
adb shell stop
adb push LatinIME.apk /system/app/LatinIME.apk
adb shell reboot
or you can place it there with a file explorer with root access, but I recommend the above method as you stop your phone, so you shouldn't have to worry about any unnecessary force closes.

Added Morph to OP for lockscreen icons for those that do not like completely transparent lockscreen. Please read the instructions and do exactly as they say.
Edit1: Also, I believe with the next release, I am going to restructure the way the links are set up in the OP. As it stands right now, it is an ineffective model that takes up a lot of unnecessary space. As anyone who follows me on twitter knows, when I mention my updates on there, I just link to a folder on media that contains folders of each supported device, then in that folder are the theme files for each device. If I go to just having a link to that main folder containing all the sub folders like I do on twitter, then I do not have to go about updating the links in 9 different threads with each release, and I do not have a space for old download files, since they can be gotten from the same place as the current download file. I think this method will make for a less cluttered OP, and save time overall.
Updated to cm_crespo_full-27.zip.

No, I can't find the correct XML value to change. I changed the text color for TW Softkey... no change. Then i did TWmenusmall... also no change. Those two were both in twframework-res.apk, i couldn't find any values in framework-res that looked like they were relavent to the problem.
In other news, started working on more aosp-like version of this and it's looking good so far in my opinion. keeping the transparent pulldown of course.
Nice job!
I would like to add that I think the XML issues likely lie within Framework-res. I think if you search inside the folder for xmls consisting of whatever light colored background image is, you'd be able to find it (decompile framework-res first). If I get a chance, I'll check for it.
Thanks for bringing this back, I hope it gets more action than previously. Also, inside twframework-res, I think the original v1 of my theme had no transparency on the notification backgrounds, which may look better (I added 50% transparency, and I honestly think now that it's too much.)

I actually just found it last night in styles.xml. It was called TextAppearance.Widget.IconMenu.Item or something like that. But thank you. And thanks for the other tips. I actually liked the amount transparency you put on the notification bar. I guess for some reason I like to see what's underneath it. We did lower the transparency of the actually items on the notification bar though --the grey bars whatever they're called.
Very nice theme. I've always wanted a green styled notification bar. Currently flashed back to syndicateROM default theme, but will re-flash once black-on-black menu issue is fixed

We have the menu text color fixed but if you hit "more" on any menu, that window still has the problem so it wont be long now. As soon as that's fixed we'll update the OP with the new link.
Edit: fixed. OP update coming whenever flimsy gets on.

do I need to do something special to run this? i have a fresh ec05 install. after i flash this theme and reboot, I press the power button to get to the lock screen, I get the vibrate notice thing where it vibrates 1x and then 2x quickly. Then the homescreen keeps rebooting.
Ive re-downloaded the file 3x
You need to be deodexed. Flash these in this order:
Wipe 3x, flash this

Reboot
Reboot to recovery flash this:

Then reboot
Reboot to recovery one more time, and follow theme instructions.

[Question]
Is the TSM tab on the '4-Tab' working with this theme? On SRF 1.2 it crashes and reboots my phone, regardless of what Custom App I choose.
Alright, let's update this. Someone KANGed my Dialpad uploaded before. Yeah, shame... no credit given.
Single theme, made specifically and works for both Zeus v3n and v3b. But will work also on any deodexed ROM like Marvel.
The final puzzle of the port have met to terms. jasonevil owner of Ice9 Theme agreed to use his materials. I still have to resort to ICS Theme by sonnysekhon though.
If you like this theme, please appreciate their work @:
ICE9 THEME by jasonevil
ICS THEME by sonnysekhon
DOWNLOAD:
ICS TRANSPARENT - Zeus v3b/v3n
ICS BLACK - Zeus v3b/v3n
V2 (GW02) is on 2nd post.
FEATURES:
1% battery increments
Centered time and date
Custom Transparent and Black status bar (2 options)
Rearranged Toggle Icons (Sound is centered)
Custom Pull Down (backgrounds and fonts)
Custom spinners from MIUI
Some icons from MIUI
ICS blue description colors
Custom USB connect/disconnect image
Some things I might forget...
Flash it in CWM, no wipe necessary. To ensure smooth installation, remove previous theme if you have. Flash Zeus again then flash this theme.
NOTE: Didn't change Menu Background, Menu font color, Menu icons (looks awful once mixed with other app menu default icons).
NOTE: I made a mistake in the updater script, but the single package extraction directory might have been enough as it didn't cause any problems.

Thanks bros, and sorry for the spinner. Will update it once time permits. Or if you know how to decompile, slap some spinners you want or modify in UOT kitchen. I believe there are spinners available there. But don't use/flash UOT zip, drag and drop apk's to correct folder, zip to zip (UOT zip to ICS zip). Just a precaution. Thanks for the support.

Thanks, i am considering it. But there's MMS and phone/contacts apk from chinese ICS theme. Do they look far from each other? Didn't flash that one just grabbed the battery for a test. Let me check, then let's do something about it. Since this is a port, Dialpad and MMS would be easy.
thanks again.
Really nice theme bro. But I find the icons on the status bar too far away from each other. Like there's lots of space in between them. Other than that, it's really great!
I can provide the modified files and Phone.apk Contacts.apk, they sold a large photo of the contact during the call.

What works:
- Everything that works in tejasdj12's CM7 Build Three
What doesn't:
- ???
Why it's different than other MIUIs:
All MIUI ROMs available on any device contain hdpi graphics while our phone has mdpi ones. Before our phone had to resize graphics to mdpi in real time causing stuttering and lack of ram. Now it's over. I've managed to resize thousands of png and .9.png to mdpi resolution, which means that MIUI is running flawlessly on our poor device. First boot may not be as fast as it should be, but after setting everything up in CM Settings and all other stuff and reboot it works much much better than other MIUI ROMs available.
I want to port it to my device. What should i do?
Port as usual and add my paypal donation email and notice about who resized all of those graphics (me) to your topic. Also add a link to this topic and send me PM so i could include it here in section "Other devices".
Note:
I do not give you permission to make any softmods or your own version of my ROM on GT540.
Download
MDPI Lockscreens
Themes fix:
Code:
Create data/system/theme folder to make themes work
Rom i've ported and resized
Resources to Port
Code:
1. Download resources and find working CM7 rom for your device
2. Open up a rom zip and remove: app, fonts, framework and media
3. Copy over package content to your system and flash it.
4. Boot it up and see if it works.
Other Devices:
HTC Wildfire S
Orange Boston
Samsung Galaxy Ace
Samsung Galaxy Gio
LG Optimus V
I'm not responsible for stuff found on other devices section of this topic. Those aren't only xda links, but some other i've recieved from devs. Use at your own risk, if you'll brick your device with someone else's stuff, then it's not my fault.
Have fun
Is the images from the rom? it seems that the launcher has some graphic bug? folder icon is to big and page indicator is a little bit lower than normal? Did you fix status bar issue when apply theme with transparent status bar?
Launcher is a bit messed up (don't use folders and you'll live with it), i didn't check themes. It wasn't a goal for ROM. Goal was to port all the apps to mdpi resolution and it's done.
can some one give me a link for a good porting guide
Wont be surprised if some one kangs this...
Well, one of two frameworks still needs resizing, so i don't think it's a good idea.. Still work in progress though. I don't know how to recompile working framework-miui-res ;-)
Great work, downloading now.
My phone is one of the slowest in this forum, so lets see

maybe this might help ?
http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/recompiling-miui-apks.16082/
Did what was said in there, and i've got apk to recompile. but after replacing ROM goes into bootloop
http://pastebin.com/JMxy7YWN
Maybe somebody with better experience can take a look.
Try to compilate new framework-miui-res, extract it, then extract orginal framework-miui-res i some folder and copy moded staff from new framework-miui-res over old one. You need to copy resources.arsc to. After that selec all files from folder, add to arhive with 7zip, compresion store, format zip. Now just replace extension to apk and try to flash. It should work.
So rom is zipalignig on boot? So i guess you already tried without tweaks and mods?
Not a single FC yet. (Just when it loads system for the first time)
IT runs flawless in my phone, it's really awesome, great job (despite the bugs with the statusbar and the widgets)
I got just 1 question, if I install my applications like Gmail, Maps, etc- The icons will be MDPI or HDPI?
bataya, that's the way i was doing those apps all the time.
-Grift-, yes. I said it's using LAGBUSTER script for MIUI. Found on MIUIPOLSKA forums.
Ziore, phone is using mdpi by default and google apps have mdpi graphics. It should use mdpi.
@Edit: Miui framework is a real pain in the ass.. I was trying to make working mdpi version for a few hours and still no results... It's compiling without errors, but it causes bootloop. Today i've managed to do a "temp-fix" for statusbar. It's black for now..
Update.
01.07.12:
- Changed statusbar bg to black (tempopary)
- Resized media/theme/default (default MIUI theme)
- Replaced MIUI Gallery with Quickpic

You changed only the color of the statusbar? So it's still bugged?
bugs that I found so far:
Usb Storage not working, if I enable it, phone reboots.
Titanium backup not restoring anything.
USB Storage works for me, Titanium backup also works..
Anyway, i've got a question for ya guys. Do you want Vexillum Project as a default theme in next release? MDPI of course ;-)

Wiped all again and reinstalled, now working flawless!
And about Vexillum, if you gonna put it put the Dark/Orange one too, it's awesome!
Vexillum Project merged with ROM apps:
http://www.mediafire.com/?53kr9sf8w6r58z1
Install using recovery. Theme needs testing though.. There was so many files to mess with that i don't know if i made a mistake somewhere. If everything will be fine, it'll get into next ROM release
Can I move to this rom from Tejas build three w/o formatting my datas? Thanks
Hi all, this is a mod i started making for my own device, and decided to share it.
It is based on the files contained in the deodexed ROM I uploaded here, which is in turn based on the FTF uploaded by @Leo here.

Even though I do delete/disable most system apps I don't use, there are some that I don't consider bloatware (although don't necessarily use) and I leave installed, which I have also modded since after changing the system framework they would look wrong/weird, and which are also included here, in case anyone uses them.
This is not a "theme" which you install and manage through the Theme section of settings. This is a modded framework and apps which, once flashed, will replace your current framework and the apps included. It mods the entire framework, which will change the aspect of certain apps that rely on system default themes. Even though I have tried to check and correct every visual flaw, there might be certain apps that might have visual inconsistencies. If you find any, please let me know.
Also, since this is a "blue" colored mod, it will look best with a blue theme, such as Air or Xperia. I personally don't use themes, and leave it on the default "Xperia" theme. The apps packaged in the zip file will not change if you change the default Theme, they are hardcoded to use the color I've used for this mod. If you have and use other apps that change depending on the theme, then you would probably want to use any of the two themes mentioned above.
I would have preferred to make this into an actual installable theme APK file, but haven't found a way to actually compile asset files while using a modded "styles.xml" file, since this mod doesn't just replace PNG files. Anyway...
Apps contained in this mod:
Calculator
Calendar
Messaging
Contacts/Phonebook
Dialer
Settings
SystemUI
Xperia Home Launcher
Clock
Package Installer*
*Fixed the visual bug with the app title dropping over the divider line, so no need for the "Fix Sony Bugs" Xposed module
Custom Features:
Transparent gradient status bar/navigation bar when on Xperia Apps, or windows identified as having being able to use a "transparent background" for status bar and navigation bar
5 button symmetric navigation bar with custom icons. You need Gravity Box, (or similar app) to force the left-most menu button to always be visible, and I use GB to reassign the key commands as so:
Double tap Menu key to turn screen off, and long press it to bring up the Power Menu; reassign the the "Recent apps" button so that it behaves as a "Back" button, and enable the "Menu" button to always be visible, that you way you have the exact same layout on both sides, so you can use it with one hand either from the left or the right. Then I make the "Recent apps" list appear when double tapping/long pressing the "Home" key.

Default button placement is, from left to right: "Recent Apps, Home, Back, Menu".

Installation notes:
Even though this is intended to be used with a modded services.jar, which can be done manually following this guide, I have also attached a "signed" version, which might work with a non-modded ROM. I can't confirm this for a fact because I haven't taken the time to restore the unmodded services.jar, but it worked fine on my modded ROM. Anyone one who wants to try it out can do so at their own risk (as if anything seriously bad could really happen) . Attached is my modded "superuser.jar".
Installation:
.- Make a backup (obviously)
.- Flash modded "services.jar" file, or patch it yourself.
.- Flash AP_NeonFrameworkMod.zip
.- Wipe cache (optional, but recommended)
.- Reboot

*People who want to try the theme and haven't modded or flashed the "services.jar" file, you can use this file, which has signed apps. Once again, I do not take responsibility if apps force close and you don't know how to restore your default framework/apps.
The status bar and navigation bar icons seen in my screenshots have been modded used Gravity Box (xposed module); The wallpapers are also attached which match the default background used as the default background: a scrollable wallpaper for people who like a scrolling wallpaper, and another one for those who don't.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for your phone not booting up due to changes you have made to the default state of your ROM

HINT: In the event that you would want go back to your default ROM state without having to restore an entire backup, you can simply extract the apps listed above from your ROM before flashing, or extract them from the zip/FTF you used to flash your ROM, use them to replace the ones in the zip file using 7zip, and then flash that file.

All you'd need to do is use 7zip to open the same file you flashed, and replace the apk files contained in system/app with the ones from your original ROM, as well as replace the "framework-res.apk" from the system/framework folder.
