The apk will be within the zip so you can just extract it then manually push it into /system/app using an explorer like root explorer. You will obviously have to be rooted for this or a signed apk will have to be made so you can do a regular install.

Sorry kind of rushed that post, you need to set permissions to rw-r--r-- or 644 which I'm guessing you already did and then reboot your phone for it to take effect properly. This is what I've always done on all my phones and tends to work.
One thing I'm wondering, is it named the same or different to the existing app? Maybe it's a conflict if you have both still there?
I don't actually have the phone so just going off previous experience as always served me well.

to get a fully working album app, extract the libraries from "album.apk/lib" with your zip explorer and copy them manually to root/system/lib folder
no need to replace if asked, set 644 permissions as usual

pd. it seems to be an issue from the flashable zip that only contains 2 of those libs, but i'm just a novice on things like recovery, special thanks to Till-Kruspe for his useful contributions

the album app is the only one working...thanks

Uh, everything = all of the apps.
I already listed how, I moved the relevant files to /system/app/, /system/lib/ and /system/framework/ and set permissions.

At least it worked, thanks all!
BTW, every time I restart my phone, I get "Android is Updating" "Optimizing Apps" window. Not a big deal but it's a long boot each time...
I think I won't shut it anymore...

Should only happen once for the dalvik cache...

They're inside the framework. In the themes, you only get to change the values of one of the seven colours available. Decompile any theme and you'll see

Yea they're not inside the themes that was the first place i searched.. But where exactly is it in framework, do you know that?

I tried pushing the skyfall.apk to the framework folder and changed the permission. After reboot, it couldn't detect the apk.
Using an Xperia V.

well, no screen button such as back, home, and context, and notification bar other than that....:good:

Battery changed, but using fullscreen v2 and lmt, so don't know about softkeys
Stock odexed 4.2.2
Also you can swipe mobile data on away?!? Able to do before?!?!
Edit: I'm using Litoni's modded home, togori button with dock, might be a difference, don't know, thought I should mention it.

It's the stock one from Sony Xperia T JB fw .145. I edited it to make it look like the one from ZU. It's not a port (don't know if ZU has a new SoundEnhancement)

The playlist should be part of the Walkman afaik, so it think you already have it, but maybe i am wrong. Can you send me a screenshot with the new playlist or the link from the post you found it?

i've test it in my new ROM (not released yet) its working perfect, maybe need to fresh install with rom using CWM recovery, can anyone try wipe data after installing browser? But please backup before you do that, its screenshot taken from JB 4.3

Just wiped the data of browser nd still FC

You can use or search android browser at playstore and dl it for free. Tried it and its working great.

thanks rizal lovins for the Sony browser, but I have some visualization problems with it (dunno if it is because I deleted some important apps from system or what else), for example when I type something in the bar and search for it.. the visualization is bad.. please see the attachments.. does it happens for you guys too? what it can be? (no changes after enabling destop view mode)
also, if for you guys the browser is working, can you tell me if clicking on a xda link for example, if it asks you to open the link throught tapatalk, or it opens it with the browser automatically with no different choices? thanks!

I have problems with "desktop view" mode with android browser from playstore.. does it work for you? (for example open a phone specs page from gsmarena, then switch to desktop view, it will stay the same.. )
