You can't unlock Xperia NXT devices with testpoint method. So I think there also is no testpoint method for Xperia T.
Was able to get the unlock code through the sony site (had to chop off the last number because the imei is 15 chars). Struggling with fasboot now, doesn't seem to want to stay in fasboot or connect on the command line.
Update: Ok resolved that with the flashtool drivers, bootloder unlock works via the website.
Neither kernel boots.

Both kernels stuck on bootlogo

I posted 2 insecure kernels, please test them both and report back to me

Hmm, im thinking of buying this device now... this CM was released after sony's aosp release on github or before?

I managed to succesfully fastboot boot boot.img (it was "OKAY" in command prompt).
Now, I don't know how to enter recovery, what are key combination to press. etc.

Hi I got the same issue. Boot.img has been flashed, but I can't get any bootlogo, or even screen activity. Might be my most expensive brick bought ... ever
I'm still able to boot into flashmode and Fastboot mode. Unfortunately I cant flash a proper, original ROM using the flashtool.
I really hope I overlooked something really stupid, could someone point me to to a solution?
Thanks in advance!

OK, gonna give the system dump a try first. Downloading that one, is a lot faster anyway
I was really looking forward on trying the CM10.1, or any 4.2.2 Android version. Just because I'm sharing this tablet with my wife (any waterproof == wife proof in my case), it was really usefull to setup multiple accounts on 4.2.2
offtopic: On my S3 I got multiboot, so I can boot in CM or any other ROM, no matter what kernel. That would be even better, if it exist for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z.

me too. but troubleshooting would be easier with permanent recovery & working adb in recovery mode. is more about technical purposes
Just what I was searching !!! 1000x thanks It's perfect to use when you were previously on custom rom and want go get back to rooted stock. Just flashing kernel in recovery and after your rom and here we go I got root (escaping the long rooting .244 operation).
This kernel is just pure awesome, my first sony phone and had no idea how to do things on this phone and in my ignorance soft bricked it last night while following lengthy confusing rooting procedure, anyway to cut it short unlocked bootloader which only took a few minutes flashed this awesome kernel got my favourite recovery TWRP....flashed superuser.zip and volaa......everything sorted, many many thanks to the dev for his great work, keep it up mate, all the best.
Monx can u provide a flashable zip via cwm of the kernel? It will be very convenient if we can flash it via cwm.thanks

Dude i installed ur newly released rom 4.5.5 honamix with stock navbar (32dpi i think) but im experiencing the flicker bug display!
Can you look at this i think it has something to do with the nav bar mods of all 4.2.2!
Using the stock 48dpi = no flicker bug
36dpi and below = with flicker bug
P.s.
-XZ unlocked bootloader
-Doomkernel v14

I confirm this monx, ive tried all stock based rom (.244) and if u change the navbar size below 48dpi it will make the screen flicker. This happens most of the time on fb if the page is loading, on youtube app too.

no other benefit other than insecure adbd & permanent twrp kernel on ramdisk. easier to recover phone when f*cked up as the recovery has usb otg support & adb on recovery mode.

This rules that this has been ported, as I use the PhilzTouch on my Galaxy Tab2. I even donated a few $$ to him!
One question, with the shared kernel "feature" of the T, how did you avoid having it revert back to stock CWMrecovery anytime one flashes a new ROM?
Regardless, I'll try this out tonight.
Hey i always wanted this to get ported! Im using the leaked 4.3 rom and it does work but it only boots into the recovery everytime. Is this a bug or is there a way to fix this?

So how do I go about installing this?
Is it as simple as boot the "T" into flashboot mode and running
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot philz_touch_6.09.3-mint.img
But I'd rather not blow away my phone if this is wrong.
Can I use this for the xperia V, too ?

Is there a trick to using PhilzTouch on the T to avoid the shared kernel?
I installed it via "flashboot boot philz.img" and at first glance, it seems to work the same as on my Galaxy Tab 2.
But then it turns out that its not really useable.
a) I was unable to boot back into my normal ROM. Rebooting always brought it back to PhilzTouch.
b) Even if I could have found a way to boot my phone, it turns out that PhilzTouch recovery was overwritten by the stock recovery as soon as I installed a newer CM nightly which I tend to do nightly.
hi all
can i use for TX ? do i need UL or not ? thanks
How to install this recovery?
fastboot flash boot boot.img gives me each time a reboot in recovery
fastboot flash recovery boot.img gives me an error.
Anyone got this working?

You need Unlocked Boatloader at first!
1. install the 4.3 rom (any you like). Flashing the FTF with everything included
2. Flash this CWM recovery and install SU zip
3. flash FTF and exclude all except KERNEL.
Done! (limited time to write so made it short)

@Phil3759
I'm having trouble to get philz to recognize the internal sdcard partition (its a real partition, not part of userdata)... what ever I try, it just keeps failing...
Do you have a possibility to build philz based on the CM10.1 or the freexperia 'jellybean' repo for this device?
I'm starting to suspect the CM10.2 repo might contain some issues as it was put together with pure CM in mind, which might make it incompatible with the stock sony JB4.3 kernel...
The Xperia T made a jump from JB4.1.2 to JB4.3 in one step up, receiving it only a month or so ago, while the CM10.2 repo has been around for far longer...
The 'original' locked bootloader package has made the same jump up recently and CWM started causing problems for it's users too.

Thats @[NUT]'s area of expertise. Go to http://nut.xperia-files.com/ /XZDualRecovery/Kernel Builder. Should be one already built. Any problems, post in This thread
I only build single recoverys these days, sorry.

Kernel sources have only recently been released, but I will look at it.
Ok. I have the kernel sources. I will post a build with Dt2w and swipe to sleep plus kexec-hardboot patch (for multirom) for both Z and ZL in the next day or two. No requests for OC or additional governors please. I don't use them, so I'm not interested in implementing them.
This kernel is not compatilable with eXistenZ 2.0 ROM.
Send from my incubator
Err:
NFC stopped
Telephone stopped
Home stopped
What happening?!
EDIT: kernel is not compatilable with eXistenZ 2.0 ROM.
This kernel will only work on stock or stock based LP 5.1.1 [.222] roms. ExistenZ 2.0 is LP 5.0.2 [.454]
Edit: for LP 5.0.2 use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=60876221
[what]
single modified advanced stock kernel with integrated twrp recovery. all security blocks disabled.
STRICTLY FOR LOLLIPOP 5.1.1 ONLY
kernel base ---- : DUAL | E6683_32.0.A.6.209_R4B_MY
kernel base ---- : 1SIM | E6653_32.0.A.6.200_R11B_UK
recovery trigger : yellow LED > standby for key input, amber LED > entering recovery mode
trigger key ---- : camera 1st stage capture button
[why]
easy to flash everything. root, restore drm daemon, etc.
root ------ : SuperSU
drm restore : drmrestore
[how]
1 - unlock bootloader
2 - download this kernel package
3 - extract boot.img & flash thru fastboot or flash zip package directly on existing
recovery, if any.
