For ginger bread, i think no because it needs resizing and possibly back porting which is tedious, so no tw5 for gb.

U can download it on the dev side. It's work but sometime laggy and drain battery.

Why won't you download the apk outside of playstore? it will still work even if you did not download it from playstore..
