Hello everybody!
I want to ask if there is any way how to take photo in build in camera app by using volume down button?
I just found this great mod and I will definitely try it ... but there is only power button used for taking photos ... so maybe any way how to modify this mod to work with volume down button?
So you don't want to be able to zoom in?
I think there is an app called galaxy s button remapper in the market

You can try to use my app, Photo Button https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mgrmobi.photobutton
It's simple and easy application for making photo using volume buttons without unlocking the phone!
does anyone have any success with this? I've read in other device forums that the only way to screen capture in CM7 is with DDMS, true? I used screenshot with NOVA but both it and drocap just give a black image. Hard to believe something so simple cannot be done.
I don't have any problem using the CM7 build in screenshot functionnality

2-If you have S2W and it's enable and your screen close JUST press search button then screen ON..( Not all kernel support this )
2- when you screen ON then do long press at search button the power menu will be show
This MOD should work on any ROM..

You don't have necessarily flash a new rom, just root and use any app which you like to take screens.
