Lmfao. If you have a custom ROM its already rooted haha
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA Premium HD app
Stick it in a flowerpot, and apply some water. I advice watering it twice a day. After a week, you'll see the new grown roots.
Cheers, Markus
If u already have a custom rom then itz rooted

So download the philz kernel as per your build number and install it via recovery. This will root

If you dont have CWM as a recovery, you will first need to flash a cwm recovery image through odin. [or heimdall]
If you do have CWM as recovery try to flash a SU package [Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip?]. That will root / install superuser on your device.
Once both are done you can proceed with backingup&& flashing new roms.
Goodluck.

Please help me guys...
My phone has been odin flashed to the stock rom with android version 2.3.6 and baseband version s5830xwks2 and every time I flash my phone with cwm 5.0.2.6. Could someone please help me or give me a link to a cwm touch recovery link.
Will be very appreciated if you could help me!
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
What do you mean? Do you want a cwm that works with your touchscreen instead of the hardware buttons?
Use the search option. CWM touch is absolutely there. I'm feeling lazy to post the links now.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
Sorry I meant that evry time I flash cwm 5.0.2.6. my phone can nevr gp into recovery again. So i have to re-flash it with odin again to get my phone tp have stock recovery. Plzzz help me with a new recovery.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
Download cwm & place it in your sd. Reboot into stock recovery, select install update from sd card & choose cwm file. Now reboot. In the app drawer you must see the cwm icon. Now turn-off the phone & boot into recovery. That's it !
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
No... It wont let me go into cwm 5.0.2.6 recovery. When I reboot into recovery it just stay at the black SAMSUNG logo screen with the green on the top corner of the phone. So i hav to flash odin again to restart
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
Have you tried an older version of cwm?
And i found this site maybe it's helping you. www blogsolute com/clockworkmod-for-galaxy-ace/21942/ (replace gaps with dots)
When you get a green triangle at the top corner, wait for some time for the recovery to occur.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
Yeh i wait for the green triangle . When i see the green triangle the screen just freezes and stays like that it doesnt go into recovery.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
Try a fresh flash via odin and then root back.

Well I just rooted my phone and I tried to install Zeus ROM.. inside the recovery mode I select.. install zip from SD card.. then I open the main SD card folder where I have Zeus 7 and update 06.. and the CMW doesn't see them anyway.. it only sees the superuser.zip... any help???
Sent from my LG-P970 using xda app-developers app
Is the ".zip" extension there ? I sometimes when downloading some zip files, only get files with no extension, like "XYZ" and I need to rename it to "XYZ.zip". Just suggesting, don't know what really is your case. :/
It is already. Zip
It sees only the superuser.zip

Did you rename the files? Any weird characters used in the filename?

Install goomanager, then launch it and use the soft button at the left of our phone (you know, the one that shows more settings) and select to install TWRP. That's how I installed it quickly with no headache.

I had this problem once. I remembered it was due to my CWM being the later version. So I 'downgraded' it and everything went well

another way to flash a kernel :
download boot.img from the dev and flash it via fastboot
