Its common thing actually. If battery charged for 100% and still connected to charger, it won't receive any current from charger. Which means battery starts discharging even when you connected to charger once 100% is reached. A short work around is there, just unplug the charger before 100%. I jus tested with 80-85% percentage, and found my battery level doesn't decreases for next two hours.
Edit:
Simple Guidelines for Charging Lithium-based Batteries
A portable device should be turned off while charging. This allows the battery to reach the threshold voltage unhindered and reflects the correct saturation current responsible to terminate the charge. A parasitic load confuses the charger.
Charge at a moderate temperature. Do not charge below freezing.
Lithium-ion does not need to be fully charged; a partial charge is better.
Chargers use different methods for “ready” indication. The light signal may not always indicate a full charge.
Discontinue using charger and/or battery if the battery gets excessively warm.
Before prolonged storage, apply some charge to bring the pack to about half charge.
Over-discharged batteries can be “boosted” to life again. Discard pack if the voltage does not rise to a normal level within a minute while on boost.
No warranty for all tips!

Quick question: If I leave my phone charging all night, when it gets to 100%, will it keep charging and make my phone explode?
And if it doesn't and somehow just stops receiving a charge once it's full, will any electricity be used?
I charged whole night and its safe and good.may depend on voltage. Wait for some better answer and check it.

LoL if it were only that simple... Anyways I left mine on the charger for almost a full day without use and no harm has come to it. Still has the same battery life as before.

You should have no problem with overcharging. I think the Note manages the charging at 100% by using the battery for a time and then charging again for a while. I often have the Note in my card dock for extended trips where it sits fully charged. My battery usage is still the same so there seems to be no problems.

I'd agree with this statement. To illustrate this, you can use an App to track the mV value of the battery rise and fall whilst still on the charger at 100%.

I have a issue here, yesterday I was skyping while connected to the charger for a bout 4 hours. Problem strated when I charge my phone again and it did not past 88%. I let the batt to fully 0% till unble to power up and put it to charge again. Again the charge would no go after 88%. Did clear batt stats in recovery but still failed. Any solution for this.

I don't have the iriginal charger, so I use a 1amper charger I used on my Sensation. The charger of the One seems to be the same, so why does my phone charge so slow? For the first time today I played a game and the battery discharges while the charger us plugged in. Maybe the input is limited, cause the phone knows it's not the original charger? Please help

I put my phone on the charger last night at 1%, went to sleep. Woke up this morning and it was off. Turned it on while it was still on the charger and it was at 6% Notice on the far right of the screenshot it got fully charged then died on charger.

Also sometimes my phone likes to turn off by itself. Have to hold down volume down+power then let go of volume for it to come on.

Check for corrosion and gunk in your charging port and connector. If none found try a different charger. The picture you submitted shows a quite odd report. Also could try wiping battery stats... but I think you might need an unlocked phone for that.

I have a similar problem. It just started recently. I had 19% and then I dropped to 1%. I charged it and had to reboot my phone for something when it was 14% and when it turned back on, it was at 3%.

Has anyone tried another charger that has higher amp output, I use iPhone @ 1.5 amp charger and works great, also AHD phones need minimum .750 amp chager.
Has anyone tried also to re-calibrate battery?

I have. I had this issue just once, but after that, my battery life its been worse. I feel like I have a 20% of unused battery or something. I have calibrated it multiple times with no luck.
