WAIT A SECOND, your phone is not n7000 so NEVER use files which is for n7000, just telling you to avoid bricking your device
and as nokiamodeln91 said, you must root so you can install titanium backup and from this app you can uninstall system apps.
hope this helped
I never saw such recent apps interface before
Try disabling those apps,if it doesnt work, you need to be rooted to uninstall those apps
On ICS? Try disabling like mentioned via settings>applications if you are on ICS

I was using Titanium Backup Pro and was integrating updates into system apps and i lost my messaging app. Titanium backup says it is still installed but i cant open it and i cant uninstall it either.
I'm currently getting by with Handcent but i want my stock app back.
Can anyone help me get my messaging app back or do i have to stick with Handcent?
Any help is appreciated.
I'm using a Rooted Samsung Galaxy S GT-I1900M
Android Version 2.2
Rooted with Superuser
(hope all this stuff helps)
Only thing I think of is flash a new rom or reflash the one your using and your messaging app should show up

I would have tried that but i'm scared ill brick my phone. i have bad luck when it comes to doing things like this. i pink screened my iPod once.
Download a custom ROM, download "File Manager HD" from Market, enable root access in the settings and push Mms.apk from Custom ROM Zip into system/app

If i do that will I lose any of the data on the internal SD? I was thinking of doing factory reset but I'd lose all the stuff on my internal SD
Sent from my GT-I9000M using xda app-developers app
Factory reset only deletes the apps, system and accounts. If you are still on Froyo, I'd recommend you to flash a Gingerbread ROM, or even an ICS one. You can backup your apps with some file managers too, but you'll lose all user data from them.
But as long as you don't wipe "sdcard" you'll keep all your music, photos and documents stores on your internal memory, even after dozens of flashes.

Do you think you could help me through the flashing process? Or send me a link to a guide I could use

Hi there,
I want to ask you all how do I root my stock ICS without installing other custom roms. I just need the stock to be rooted for me to install titanium back up and unroot it after the Jellybean official arrived.
I am having a lot of problem with game save files import and export. Cause most of the game save saved locally on phone.
Any help would be grateful!

Go through Dr.Ketan's guide..you will get to know everything about rooting.
I did the same thing when I first rooted my phone. Just rooted the stock ICS & was using it. So, under development section, you will find the kernel thread in which you will see Philz kernel. Select the one which is for your ICS version & flash it via PC Odin
just install the philz kernel using recovery and you will get root.
If I want to restore back to stock kernel, what should I do? flash stock kernel again?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Yes using mobile odin..

Use Exynos Abuse.
It will work on ICS firmware only. (Not GIngerbread)

Its the safest, easiest and quickest method to root.

And before you start flashing ROMs left-right and up-down, read this

So I just need to flash kernel to have root access rights and using back my stock ICS?
I read some where about philz having problem with camera is it true?

I just updated thru Kies in Hong Kong, to 4.04 JB. I tried to use the camera and I had an alert blocking the camera screen and a message bar as follows "Tap and hold shortcuts to edit them. Also combined with it where the OK button was was a text box with the words scanning media in it.
Now, its working after I played with it, first I reboot, that didn't help. Then I accidentally put it into third party mode but hit the up volume to get out of it before it went into download mode. It started to reboot but I held the up-vol, home and on button until it went to the rest screen. I tried to just wipe the cache, but it didn't do anything, moving the selector up and down worked, I tried wiping cache again, no luck, so I just reboot. After rebooting I laid the phone down and started to look for a solution in here. So I go to try the camera again to get the alert message it had, and
Wha La, the darn camera started working right, the alert blocking the screen was gone, it came up as usual for a new triggering, but it accepted my selection when I told it ok and then it went away as usual, computers, micro-processors, no matter what kind, if you have problems, some times just a long shut down to clear the electronic memory will also clear the problems.
hello guys

You dont have to touch "install" one by one with TitanBackup
_______
Via GT-N7OOO using XDA_Elite App_HD
Titanium backup Pro has a batch install function to restore missing apps and data. Use that for user apps only as system apps can cause FCs
Hi guys,
Some questions here:
1. I was just exploring my O4X with my Titanium Backup when I realized my superuser app isn't listed in Backup/Restore tab. Is there anyway we can do to show the app?
2. When I first rooted my phone, the given superuser app is superuser. Is it possible to use SuperSU instead? I find SuperSU much more user friendly and it's got some features that superuser doesn't.
3. Related to question no. 1 & 2, supposing I've installed SuperSU, is it safe and possible to simply uninstall the superuser app using Titanium Backup and let SuperSU take over the superuser stuff?
Any replies will be greatly appreciated.
PS. It's March 31 in Indonesia and still no sign of official JB update.

To backup Superuser or SuperSU is useless, you need always to install it because of binary.
Installing SuperSU in system will uninstall Superuser automatically but if you don't want to install it in system, you can delete /uninstall Superuser like any other app without losing ROOT (after install SuperSU, it takes control over Superuser)

I actually tried installing both apps and it seems like nothing is happening. The only problem is that I can't remove the superuser, it doesn't show up anywhere not even in Titanium Backup.
Thanks for your reply though

Download SuperSU from play store , open it , tgen go to the setting tap ,, then check the "enable SuperSU" .
Then goto "install SuperSU into /system" .
That is all .

Managed to remove Superuser. Turned out you have delete the apk from /system/app

open titanium backup and go to backup/restore tab which is just next to overview (default view) select the app and click uninstall and press ok on all the warnings. only remove bloatware and not any system app or file.

Does the above mentioned link solve only for the rooted devises? Ive downloaded TB, and it is not able to get root permissions on the stock rom. :crying:
Yes.. Only for rooted devices. TB requires root access. As a matter of fact if you want to remove any of the system apps you will need root.
