[Q] PIN Problem..Please Help!!! - XPERIA X8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello Everyone,
I just seriously dont know how it happened, but my mobile fails to recognize my Pin. Initially I had set up the pin lock and my pin code was 1234
Later i wiped the dalvik cache, and the battery stats, and after I rebooted it fails to recognize my pin password. So is there a way to bypass it....my phone is running on GingerDX v26 stock kernel. I will be seriously grateful if someone has a solution. Thanxx in advance

[Q] Galaxy S i9000 lockscreen password problem

So I wanted to try out the lockscreen password method, so I did.
But now I just regret doing it, not even after 1 minute, it doesn't accept my password I set up, which is just weird and odd. Is there some kind of recovery password app or anything just to unlock my phone again. I'm out of ideas.
EDIT: Nvm, I just wiped my user data, and re-flashed darky 10.2.2 all is fine now.

[Q] [HELP] Phone doesn't ask for sim card PIN after wipe from LSZ (solved)

After flashing from ICS to JB LSZ everything was ok.
But after I've done factory reset, my phone doesn't ask for sim pin anymore -> and can't connect to cellular network.
If I disable PIN, phone is able to connect.
Does anybody have any idea, what went wrong?
I've aleady flashed many stock roms trying to fix it and in general, with Gingerbread phone ask for pin and everything works. When I update to ICS (even by OTA) I get the same problem like with JellyBean -> phone doesn't even ask for pin and can't connect to network...
I've tried to reflash JB, reset dalvik cache, /cache, /data, /system.... And problem remains in ICS and JB
Any ideas?
Solved:
/efc/imei/keystr file with "ON" string was missing.
I've created one using ES FIle Explorer and it works.
Big thx to you, i've searched all the day why the hell the sim didn't worked on ics or jb but worked on GB. I did many flash, LC1, LRT, LSZ, always the problem occured. And at the same time, the menu from the power button was directly doing a reboot. I copied the keystr file from my efs backup, it is solved.

'Decrypt Storage' screen after unlocked bootloader + factory reset. Data corrupt.

So.. first of all, I want to say that I am a complete no0b when it comes to bootloader unlocking/rooting/etc... just putting that out there..
So I just unlocked the bootloader on my m7, and everything went fine, until I actually turned on my phone again...
The first thing that shows up is a screen that tells me to enter my password to decrypt my device, even though I have never encrypted it.
Any password entered results in a screen saying:
Decryption unsuccessful
The password you entered is correct, but unfortunately your data is corrupt.
To resume using your phone, you need to perform a factory reset. When you set up your phone after the reset, you'll have an opportunity to restore any data that was backed to your google account.
I have tried to factory reset my phone in recovery mode, however it just returns an error message saying that it cant mount /data, and only formats /cache.
When I restart, I get the same 'Decrypt Storage' screen as before...
Is there ANY way I can solve this?
I have absolutely no clue :/
As I said, i'm just a noob
I dont care about any lost data, I just want a usable phone :/
I think I just solved it!
Installed twrp, formatted, rebooted, and everything is chill!
Glad I solved that...

Encryption password help

Hello, I'm using official CM 13 on my Mi5 as my daily driver and I was very satisfied with it. I encrypted it with a pattern and the encryption was working fine. But today, I powered it on and suddenly instead of asking for a pattern, it asks for a password! I never used a password to lock or encrypt a device. How can I decrypt it? Is there some kind of defaut password? What could cause the password change? Or the only possible solution is just format data?
Note: TWRP also asks for a decryption password instead of the pattern.
You Need to format data, in wipe section.... Write Yes and After flash ROM.
By the way every dot on your pattern is a number, so u just need to figure out your password
Thank you, I tried to figure it out and it worked!

Cool! To definitely eliminate encryption just make a twrp back up, save it on your PC or USB. Format Data, and after restore your back up!! I was in your situation, now I can boot without password

TWRP asking for password

Hey guys I'm on Xiaomi EU Rom and TWRP keeps asking me for a password whenever I boot into it I've tried formatting the data it works but then when I need to boot into the recovery again i need to format it again
Don't know what's causing this
Try using the pin number that is used to unlock your phone.
When you want to update the Rom, disable fingerprint et PIN. After, boot to recovery and no need to enter password.

Yep, it works like designed. The moment you set a pin under android, the data gets encrypted and twrp will ask for that pin.
