S2e not working properly on any rom..:(

this always happens with me when using
s2e...once I power off the device all the
apps are gone..why is this happening..I have
partitioned using cwm..again reflashed it..
the reason why I am not using a2sd is that
when I use a2sd for some days everything is
perfect..then I can't install or uninstall any
apps the device begin to
restart..eventhough I am having lot of space
in SD ext...please help me on this..which
script should I use..please help me on this..I
am not able to use any of my
apps..please..please..please..

I use it the same way..
First I mount system and data..flash it..and then configure it with help of GUI..by the way I use beta 4 version..which one do you use..
But always the device gets restarted after some days,during installing of apps..

cm7 rc0 should do it with root ex,not flash...only emanonv4 should flash via CWM with recovery.zip file

extract it u get 40a2sdx and put it to sdcard...then run root ex and remove all related to s2e..then paste 40a2sdx to system/etc/init.d...long press 40a2sdx and choose permissions...tick all the boxes...reboot(2x optional)..then check ur internal memory with TB..ur internal memory will change place with sdext....

Link2sd works on ext3 and ext4 partitions. On first start you have to chose your partition. It will install an script. Now you have to reboot and can move your staff to the ext partition.

2se vs. Darktremor
Darktremor still is the best for me, works on every rom i tryed and
on every device i have tryed it without any problems!! i have around
40apps installed and my memory look like this ;-))

finally found a way to make s2e work properly..just mount(from settings menu) the sd card before powering off the device(take the card out)..then turn it back on(dont insert sd card)..after the device starts insert the sd and reboot..and it works perfectly..this prob only occurs whem i switch off not reboot..
but got to do this every time i turn of the mini..lol

It says I've nearly used all my storage yet I have 11gb there and no where near that is used. Also the bar isn't full. When I go into camera is says your SD card is full. Wtf?

boot into recovery and clear the cache and dalvik cache and see if that helps.
If not, Make a backup and do a full wipe, Be sure to be on a safe kernel, Notecore kernel is 2x safer than other kernels

What else is saved on your internal storage? ROM's? Titanium Backups? CWM Nandroids?
You obviously don't have much space left there

There's no titanium ones I know that. Not sure about the others where I find that. And I'll try delvik cache thanks. Nearly bed time its 2am here.

Just use a standard file explorer like ES or File Explorer - go into the root of your internal SD and see what else is there..
Could be voice recordings or anythin... also buy an external SD card for your music and pics

you gotta lot of Media files stored on to your phone's internal memory bud. Check those using using a decent explorer app to see if you can try deleting or better yet, I would agree.. buy an SD card so that you can transfer those media files you have from your phone's internal storage to the external storage on the card.

Ok so I went purchased a SD card. Now the problem is finding all media to transfer over. Is there a app to show me just mp3 files ect ? So I'm not here all day looking for them.?

Oh yes, in many cases cwm mixed up
Internal and external sdcard. That is the reason.

If you've changed ROMs a lot and done factory resets, etc - you'll find your SD card/eMMC is file of old app data. I recovered 6 gigs by going through it manually with Root Explorer deleting old, redundant app data - games are the big ones!

Is it usbdisk in the /mnt folder?

If you are on AOSK/AOSP/CM9 based Roms then Open Root Explorer. Go To MNT\EMMC\ (This is your External SD Card which you putted up in your Note)
Go Go SDCard\ (This is your USB SD Card which is internal storage)
If you are on ICS Based Roms then
Go To SDCard\ExternalSD\ (This is your External SDCard)

One more question. Is there away to stream my content to my tablet without using tons of data? I have 6gb on my wireless mini modem I take everywhere. It has a SD card slot so I assume if I put it in that it becomes available on the network to stream. But it will use a lot of my data yes?

Google Play does the job. Just use market enabler and fake the provider. Download it on your SGN from playstore and Start using it.

Others reported continuous FCs with apps after using it for a long time. Others say it works perfectly. Its just random coz that script is originally for htc devices.

For me i dont install 3rd party software just use simple script like
Code:
adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2.
and ur android will now install apps to the SD card by default.
To switch back to storing software on the internal memory,
Code:
adb shell pm setInstallLocation 0.
more simple = only my opinion, use it for my SGAi

Hey, k****ij try link2sd.I am using it since 6 months with over 150 apps installed.No issues so far.It also has a interface so that u can easily manage ur apps and decide which apps u want to move to the SD card.Besides this u can also use Widgets of the apps moved to the SD card and can move launchers to SD card without breaking them(default android behavior) because it moves the apps to the second partition.
Last but not least,U can run ur apps/games so moved even after mounting SD card to PC.

As their system space is around 60mb so that we should be able to dual boot but also for some clues and hint check out the root log out or something like that app it divides the Tom into different users exactly like windows and data for each is separate

dont need to install sdMerge there is an option on storage configuration that u can use ur external sd card as storage of installed apps also the media..

issues;
appolo music and gallery3d ddnt recognize the external directory.only the internal.. andif you use expanded internal storage the external work and internal not..so i suggest to uninstall that apps and use some apps that can set directories/folder like quicpic and powerAmp music player..

Hey emokeizer u could use ics sd binder from google play to mount the external sd card. Click on all boxes and press restart.

Hey emokeizer u could use ics sd binder from google play to mount the external sd card. Click on all boxes and press restart.
