[Milestone] Enabling Swap by a kernel module - anyhow, anyone ?

I know some tried this without result.
But imppossible is nothing.
Could the linux geeks try more to do this ???
Thats the main disatvantage of Milestone. Pls try to enable SWAP partition or file

No problem...worked on my device but I already flashed the OTA and then reflahsed after I did some mods to it so please let me know if it all goes smooth

I know that tool, but it gives me error on bootclasspath and it doesn't go on with deodexing.

Make sure you have the Java SDK installed and the path is set in enviroment variables.

Also make sure all the framework files are in orig_frame

I mixed that tool with another one. Everything fine now.

Nice and Smooth. running it with Trinity Kernel @ 1000 and 100 plus ADW EX.

What's new in this version?

Stock Kernel...ROM is all stock, just deodexed, root and busybox.
Looks like I uploaded my persoanl spin on the stock ROM. I accidently left in the CM MMS and Contacts packages. Will upload again with complete stock if anyone wants it...

As its based on vork, it contains voodoo sound.

Ram hack doesn't work.
System info, System panel, and terminal emulator (command free -m) tell the that I have 380mb avaiable.

380mb available? are you sure? not the used memory? i have ~200mb free ram with extreme LMK values.

Now with the new version PimpMyCPU is working OK.
Could you point the advantages of the 70zipalign_defragdb script?

I updated it via PC comp. (which was not .2 mb) and apparently seeing 2 improvements.
1. Battery life.
2. Overall performance improvement. Its feeling more smoother now.

VIa OTA it was showing .2 MB but PC companion downloaded a complete 926MB file and flashed it.

i updated it through PC companion (the whole 900mb+) but i don't see any difference in battery life. and my phone has become less responsive since then. although it is not hampering but there is a noticeable lag in everything.

This update brings enormous battery life ( My phone without charging for 2 days)
I will post a screen shot later.!

yes battery life is improved. also I have rooted my phone and removed all crap apps I never touch. So it has added to the performance

And i don't understand why not all xperia-zr get this update. And why sony didn't say any words about this update...

Hello guys after a research i found on an other xda thread dedicated for xiaomi there is a way to flash with TWRP the new adreno 530 driver

I think you have ro flash each time you flash system partition cause thoses files arr located in system/vendor partition
To check just download aida 64 app and in display section you can check your GPU version

Did you have issues with always on display guys?

Running stock Oreo, with xlosed, magisk v16.0, some other things, works fine (Advanced Calling Video Call kept stopping, but I just disabled it and solved that XD) anyway Antutu total score went up by nearly 40k points! (GPU alone went up by just over 10k!) Impressive...
Edit: welp, the images are backwards but you get the point...

I notified lag before flashing this, but after flashing I haven't noticed anything, I'm on v20a, still don't have a flashable zip for v20b on us997
