[Q] Can I change bootanimation of stock rom with stock kernel? - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know it can be done in custom roms with cf-root kernel but can i do it in stock rom with stock kernel

Either but ur bootanimation.zip in system/media or in data/local
And change the permissions to r-r-rw

You can't do that on stock roms as said.....

Sometimes I forget not everyone has an extremely choppy connection that can't be used to download anything without download managers...

Saves internal space, allows easier modifications (e.g. theming), at the cost of a slight performance hit since odex files are deleted.
That would be a ROM that's just deodexed. Most deodexed ROMs include performance tweaks as well that make up for the above.

There is no other Jellybean ROM for Mini, you may create one from scratch.
