Unzip the skin if it's archived (there should be a .uzip file in the archive; this is what you want, don't unzip the .uzip). Move the uzip file somewhere on your sdcard. Open the UCCW app from your app drawer. In the menu, select import skins and browse to the uzip on your sd. The skin will be imported into the program, and you can edit it through the program link in the app drawer. Add the widget to your homescreen the usual way.
I use cm7 nightly,i want to custom a theme,
is there everyone who can give me a link? thx a lot~~
Copy the base theme apk file from system app to your pc (you can even use any cm7 rom's theme as base).
Then, on your pc, go to UOT Kitchen to mod it. You'll need to upload the base theme. Wait, pick up your modded theme, put it in system/app or flash the UOT zip from recovery and use theme chooser to select it.

You mean the UOT picture? On your pc, use winrar or 7zip to open the theme apk file. Inside res/drawable are the graphics. Locate the UOT graphic, edit it.
Then drag your modified graphic into the winrar or 7zip window where you have the apk openned (if you extract and repackage the contents it gets messed up, thats why you drag and replace).
Same applies for any other graphics edits, as long as you keep the originals' resolution, format, and name.

hi...i can teach you...but you need a pc...and a sample theme...you can get the sample theme from play store (pure AOSP) or any theme.
after installing the theme copy the theme to pc...you can find it in hwthemes folder.
use WinRAR to open the .hwt file.
now find (com.android.systemui)
drag it outside the hwt and use WinRAR to open (com.android.systemui)
after that...you need a renaming tool...i use bulk extension changer... extract the res folder and use the above mentioned tool to change all the .xml files to .png
after that...
open your favorite image editing software (Photoshop or any similar software)
make the battery shape that you like.
and save it...
you can use the sample theme for guidance...for percentage and other stuff.
after saving your desired battery shape use the renaming tool to change all the .png files to .xml(Not .XML) and put them where they were before (inside the .hwt file)
Copy the theme and apply it... reboot your phone and voila...
remember... it's not an easy job...you have to do some tinkering to make it look good.
i hope that helps you... enjoy

I made it, but there is a problem. It doesn't change when its 5% Ex: %35. Can i make them change at 5%?
yes...i think you didn't save(edit or change) the 5% one. go edit it and put it inside the theme

for percentage it goes like this: 5-10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80-90-95-100
you can't edit this or change how it deals with the percentage

Ok guys i managed to place a video on the lockscreen of my p30 pro using custom themes (i created it with hwttool), now is anyone capable to create an app or something that edits hwt files and let me overwrite the video file so that i can change my lockscreen/wallpaper whenever i want without having to place it on pc, make it zip, extract, overwrite, rename back and replace on phone? i will post the hwt i created with the video inside so you can think on how we can use it to place videos on a lockscreen without so much hassle.
Don't fall in love with Sana btw xD
Hwt: https://filebin.net/0bfxj9imka4785b0
i added an apk here that you can try: https://filebin.net/0bfxj9imka4785b0 done with custom live wallpaper creator for windows but it give me the permission only to place it on the wallpaper.. i want the video to be put in the lockscreen like the theme do.. is there any other solution? why the theme can do it but the apk not?? is there some way to edit a livewallpaper apk to be put in lockscreen too?

it would be awesome to have an apk version of this too.. is there an easy way to make an apk that installs the theme in the phone for easy sharing?
I managed to solve some of the problems above, at least for the apk that installs the theme on huawei (had to create it on kodular but has the theme inside, it can't install other themes outside himself) now i wanna know is there a way inside sana.hwt to change the wallpaper to a static image instead of a video? i tried to put there a image and rename it wallpaper.mp4 but it shows me a black screen.. on ext.properties there is only:
video_mode=1
wallpaper_video=wallpaper.mp4
what can i change to have a static image?
Great job
Can you put some videos like sea and waves etc...
Ofc you have just to rename Sana.Hwt to wawes.Zip extract to a folder, change inside description.xml the name of the theme to something like waves or sea, overwrite lock.Mp4 and wallpaper.Mp4 to any video you like, put all files back in the zip and change back name to .Hwt
Its not hard just a little tricky
I can do it for you if you can't alone but you have to find the video by yourself, possible with a resolution near to 1080x2160 if you want to have that good definition.
Can anyone mirror hwttool? It is taking a lot of time to download.
