If you think that D/L Speed is low, you can create mirrors. I will add them to OP with Credits. Thank you..
I am soon going to release the first version of CosmoROM.
Please tell me what ROM Base would you like and the Modifications and Features that you want me to incorporate in the Future release.
It will be close to stock without any sort of theme modification. ( I Iike Sammy's themeing the most )
I will make sure to try to add most of the Features you request but it should not hamper the Stability and Stockishness of the Rom.
Also which HydraCore kernel do you prefer more...The Standard One or the OC one ??
I am aiming to make a ROM with modifications that are necessary and without crappy mods just to make modifications.
Thank you,
CosmoDroid.
Hey it's great to see this kind of activity. I'm very happy about it.
You asked for suggestions, so i will start:
First of all I am also a heavy user of TW Stock ICS 4.0.4. and I prefer the stock look without any themes, like you do.
I see you're from India, so it is normal that you use as your base DDLR9, I wonder if it would be possible that with ddlr9 version (stock, deodexed, zipaligned, rooted etc) you also add a lattest XXLRT (germany). I found it as a great stock rom for europeans, I think many would be greatful (last such project was made by eybee1970 with xxlrq). For me rom like that would be fair enough.
About kernels: PhilZ kernel is great stock kernel and I prefer them, but HydraCore is also great. Cant go wrong here
About mods, apps:
- 15UI toggle sytemUI from dr.ketans thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997 , download link: http://www.mediafire.com/?o3car5j2u22oom0
Call recording: poolakkal Suresh thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676739&highlight=call+recording
Also there are a great Note2 stuff, like papper artist, ringtones from note2 which are nice, etc...
But like i said just stock (deodexed, zipaligned, rooted etc) rom would be great (xxlrt). Apps and mods from above are cwm flashable so those are not problem for users (there are treads dedicated to them).
Thanks in advance!
@dzoni
suggestion is great
Thanks for the suggestions.
I was thinking of using XXLRT as base.
But since my connection speed is slow transfers take a lot of time.
So even if i finish modifying etc fast upload time takes long.
And yeah i have all dose mods but in case of toggles i like the "6 per page" one.
The other stuff I have and have made one on the DDLR9 Base.
If you guys wanna use that one I can upload right away.
Hey dont worry, there are no need to rush!
Just take your time :good:
I stopped being a flashoholic LOL, so personally I am not in hurry
Look at my device uptime:
About toggles i know what you mean, but i found these are also great (from dr.ketans thread) , flashable through cwm.

I also have seen dose toggles. But they look too close and clumsy to me. That's why i prefer the 6-per-page one. They look much more neat.
Guys who have already downloaded this ROM please make some mirrors. My Dropbox link has been temporarily disabled due to heavy traffic and i cant upload to any other site because the upload rate is very low and most of the file sharing sites do not support upload resuming after error etc.
Here are two FTP Mirrors

Your suggestions are great. But I'm not a developer. Just a teen. Most of your like the buttons etc require modifying many system files and apks. Also i want to keep it as much close to stock as possible. I'm gonna release the first version of CosmoRom by tomorrow. It's based on XXLRQ. V2 will be based on XXLRT or newer. Making some minor modifications. Hope you guys like it.
like i said earlier, you can ignore it as its only my wishlist. but still i'll thank u for listening.
Just a simple ques guys.

Yeah sure. This basically a stock ROM. Just deodexed rooted and zipaligned by me. However if you lose root flash SuperSU zip from Chainfire's Orig Thread later.
Since I am from India, I too would like your ROM based of the DDLR9
As for the suggestions, I would love the 15 toggles, the edited gps.conf file, transparent weather widget and if possible, call recording with the option to save the call record file after each call. That, according to me, would satisfy everyone, all calls record lovers as well as selective call recording lovers.
I am on DDLR9, I would like to add that in poolakkal Suresh's mod, the phone.apk still is, AFAIK, chinese ROM based apk and you have to manually select to record the calls. What I learnt is that if you push the lib folder from this mod, most call recording apps work just fine on the stock phone.apk. I am using Total Recall Call Recorder for N7000. It wouldnt record the calls without poolakkal Suresh's lib folder. Now after pushing his lib folder to the system folder, the recording works perfect.
Apart from it, as sharkteef suggested, two great mods would be the long press back button killing the running, foreground app and long press home button torch function.
One another great mod would be the lock screen function with the 4 more shortcuts to the unlock circle. The 4 way unlock button?
Thanks for the custom "stock" ROM
Very good thing is if you can mod the lockscreen - center all mod and maybe put a few shortcuts like on S3 and on alliance rom...

Thanx guys for all ur sugestions but as i said i'm just starting in this modding and developing world. Plus changing lockscreen needs a lot of code changes. Neway now i'm making the CosmoRom thread. A Stockish rom based on XXLRQ (for the time being) with necessary modifications.

I will make one click of my rom soon for you guys I need testers before I can post publically please pm me so I can give you links , im 99% sure it works .
Does the GPS work? What kernel is installed with it?
Do you have to have gb bootloaders? If we don't flash them we just get the rainbow recovery?

Why post when you don't have links up yet???
Instructions for flashing would be VERY helpful, especially since this is a i9000 port....
More information would be good too, what kernel, modem, etc...

Not trying to be bossy, just asking a few questions and giving some advice. Glad we have people like you to stick up for others though... it's a rough world.
aight . I can understand where both of you are coming from , but please stay on topic , with that said :
1st , I need testers it is the first thing I specified in my first 'text post' after the op ..
2nd if you read the op there is A LOT of information ..I have not specified the modem and kernel for a reason .. (you can compare to ALL of my other rom threads )
3rd thank you but I dont need advices I need help testing a device Im tying to support and I do NOT own . Then I will be able to tell you what kernel modem are in the rom (as those currently in the rom are the most recent I found but I do not know there model number as I took them from the latest port of my work that is already in htis forum ported and unsupported )
4th I could put the links up already but if nobody has tested them how serious is that ? so I make a thread and ask for help instead I get one person giving ME advices and the other person telling him to relax .. I m not going to take sides here I m gonna rephrase one last time :
I am not going to have a rom thread become aflame place If someoen is ready to test my ready to release rom , please step up and pm me , I will be glad to take advices from those who test the rom . thank you
If nobody has somethign to contribute to the actual subject of the thread please refrain from posting .
Oops - delete this post, wrong thread.

T.E.A.M. Stock Rom for 2011 Xperia devices
(Arc, Arc S, Ray, Active, Play, Neo, Neo V, Pro)
pvyParts and iridaki
Proudly Present you
T.E.A.M. Stock Rom
A Rom for the Community By the Community!
YOU MUST Read this Post FULLY Before you Post any Questions!
First of all, hello 2011 Xperia Devices World!
We are coming from a galaxy far far away, where and when the X10 was a flagship!
We created the T.E.A.M ROM for the X10 and now we are taking the first step towards porting it to the next generation of devices.
The new TEAM ROM will be universal across the following devices:
1. Xperia Arc
2. Xperia Arc S
3. Xperia Active
4. Xperia Ray
5. Xperia Play
6. Xperia Neo
7. Xperia Neo V

( Devices with smaller screen resolution, such as Mini and Mini Pro will follow later on we didn't forget you! )
How we did that?
We have developed a Auto-Magic installation script that will work on any Xperia device by customising system files appropriately during flashing.
Some of the many new and unique features of the upcoming TEAM ROM:
1. Quick sound profiles integrated into the ROM -forget any 3rd party apps, now it's all accessible from the power menu
2. Brightness toggle control with a neat popup you can bring up any time from your statusbar
3. TEAM Tweaks (customise your clock/date/battery/signal text color/size/font, integrated battery bar)
4. Transparency everywhere you look!
5. Elegant TEAM theme
6. New Clock and Calendar from leaked Xperia S GB ROM
7. Tweaks for ambient sensor, minfree and more
8. Enhanced power menu with reboot options: Reboot, Reboot in Recovery, Reboot in Fastboot. If you choose the latter, you will be prompted to insert your USB cable and the procedure will complete only after you have! As convenient as it gets
9. Compatible with any 2.3.4 ROM, any kernel, any current setup. It will not wipe your data or intefere with the way you have been using the phone so far. It will only make it MUCH better
We are introducing the "ROM/AddOn" concept and we are looking forward to your feedback.
ROM/AddOn means:
* One Zip all Phones! with some Scripting magic we can keep all devices updated with a single zip.
And last but not least, don't forget we have great things in store for all of you:
* Full AppMan Support with 100% OTA Capable, Auto-Magicaly Flashed updates (comming soon)
HOW TO INSTALL:
REQUIREMENTS
HAVE AT LEAST 50% BATTERY BEFORE STARTING!
You must also me on a 2.3.4 Stock Firmware
( This is not a Stock based ROM, it is a Sony Stock Firmware )
You will also need Root and CWM
This will work on either Locked or unlocked bootlaoders that meat the above requiments
NO DATA WILL BE WIPED DURING INSTALLATION!
1. Boot into Recovery and make a NANDROID BACKUP ( This is really IMPORTANT, as we can't recover your data! If the fan gets soiled )
2. Flash the "TEAM_ROM_v0001_HDPI.zip" via Recovery.
3. Reboot and let the phone do it's thing as it will be rebuilding caches and settling.
First boot can take up to 10 minutes so be patient!
If you want to use your own custom Clock font:
1. You should place your custom font in folder /system/TEAM/font and it should be a .ttf file named clock_font.ttf.
2. Go to Settings > Tweaks and check the option Custom Font for whatever element you wish (clock, battery, signal, date).
You can now also tweak the text size to your liking!!

Q & A
Q: Where is AppMan?
A: AppMan will suffer a full rewrite and will be ready for a future update!
Q: Can I use this or that kernel for unlock or locked bootloader?
A: ALL kernels built for stock ROMs WILL WORK on this rom. We have tested all of them so take our word for it. ( yes we are flash junkies )
Q: Can I use this or that theme?
A: Short answer, no. Unless of course it is built of our framework. We have made MASSIVE mods to the framework so most themes will disable most, if not all, options in the Tweaks app.
( unfortunatly themers dont like our framework as it changes too often )
Q: I am getting a FC on this or that, can you help me!
A: NO. We can't help you. Because what you just said means nothing to us.
We want to help you SO much, but in order to do that you need to report the bug properly.
We took care of that too, see here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18195325
Q: OMG YOU STOLE MY WORK! YOU [email protected]#$!% etc etc etc
A: We kindly ask you that if you have an issue with any of the inclusions in the ROM to either PM me or iridaki so we can sort it out politely There is no need to flame in the thread. Also if we have forgotten credits, please let us know and we will add them immediately.
Q: This rom is stupid, I hope you fail, "that" ROM is better!
A: That's cool, use "that" ROM. There is absolutely no need to report your disgust unless of course you have constructive criticsm. Personal Preference isn't a bug or an issue
We encourage EVERYONE to use the ROM they feel is best for them
Q: wow this is cool can i...
A: HOLD UP read our rules
1- no whining about our work
2- no asking for eta's
3- no asking for eta's
4- no useless posts in development thread
5- logcat or GTFO
6- no asking for eta's

Good work Team ROM, Love the Animations and the Theme ..Fantastic
Tested on Xperia Ray.. Flashed on Top of 2.3.4 on FW .62 with Aier's Stock Kernel...
Flashing took about 20 secs and firmware booted in less than 2 mins on first boot...
Just a Few Misalignments in Widgets and Application Manager Lists...\\Attaching Screen Shots..
Note:
1)the Contacts Widgets are not aligned (I had to flash my Modded Home.apk which luckily works good on it and that fixes it)..and
2)the Size of the apps in the Applications list is partially hidden...
Hope to get a fix soon.. All other things so far working good..
Good job team

Been waiting for this for a long long time. THANKS GUYS
As expected for a beta release, this one is quite buggy and many settings don't work or crash when selected. This said, I am still very hyped to see the TEAM-Rom for our Arc! Thank you so much!
I know there are many things to do first, by I would still like to make a feature request: The one feature of CyanogenMod I really miss on all stock roms is to skip a running music track by long pressing the volume buttons while the screen is off. If it is possible to include this in TEAM, please consider to do so!
Sorry Sir and Madam of developers, is it possible to have stock Home button instead of SE-ball logo? I like the feel of the stock somehow.
I tried the Beta-ROM all day and it is very good for LT15i and super good tweaks etc.
Thank you very much for your ROM.

We are aware of that issue with SE Widgets, it's because we made the grid of the launcher 5x4 instead of 4x4 (don't you just hate wasted screen estate? )
Widgets will be fixed separately to fit the new grid for the final release within the next days!

Yes of course, it will be changed, this was just some tests I've been doing trying to find a good app drawer icon, got fed up and desaturated the purple one I use.
We will include a much better one for final V1.
I have played with this now for a little while on my ArcS and it looks good, feels good and acts good concidering it's in beta state. A few small glitches ofcourse, but what the heck, it's beta.
tried to tweak number of homescreens and rows of homescreen. None of them seemed to work.
I also get an GMail update from Market, but when I try to apply it I only get an error. Something about incompatible.
I solved it by uninstall GMail and restored it with TitaniumBackup from an older backup.
Thanx for a great looking rom.

We have a transparent themed Gmail in TEAM, but it is version 2.5.3 and the latest one is I thin 2.5.3.2.
Since it was edited, it was signed with our keys so the original app from the Market signed by Google fails to replace it.
We will port the theme to the latest version for the final release.
If you want to keep the themed app, deactivate auto-updates on the Market for Gmail, it should stop nagging.
This means the only Xperia Phones that u arent supporting are the xperia x8, the xperia x10 mini and mini pro.
What a pitty
I like this ROM very much and at the end of the month when I get my salary I will donate a small money to iridaki, cause this ROM makes my phone very happy.
My LT15i is like new again.
this is awesome, very nice!
Theming ROM right
This ROM is only for theming and customizing it doesn't has tweaks to improve the performance .right?
I applied it on top of acroniom and now testing
I will give you the result later
This is a ROM based on the work of PINGUY's ROM.
I want to thank to him for his kindles and I'm glad to do this.
Is my first job. I want to credit to all of the devs to work very hard to do this possible. I'm afraid I will forget anyone so, Thank Guys!

Part 2: http://www.mediafire.com/?rydssqg34jjd4ey
The idea is to do a ROM as stable as possible, with all the functionality of the phone, quickly and with better battery consumption.
Considerations:
This ROM is in ext3 and it may be necessary to install the kernel for your tegrapart after the rom
When language support was added in the menu option appears 4G that is "not functional" when I will find out how to remove it I'll do it.
When using the Gallery option in the menu mirroring the application crash. Use the gallery from the menu on the phone itself.
If you have problems to start wifi install the kernel of your tegrapart
Thank Pinguy Again!!

Downloading , thanks ! I will test it seems to be a very nice rom.

Awesome work gustrick. Thanks for keeping this ROM going. As people have noticed this ROM is the best for battery life. For that reason alone Devs should keep this alive.
If anyone want an all in one with the latest webtop, here is the download.

If people want some of the tweaks I used for the ROM this is based on, for other Atrix ROMs, here is an zip containing many of the tweaks that I have added that should work with all roms including CyanogenMod ROMs:

Just one thing gustrick. Could you change the Toggles in notification bar so they have a bar under them that lights up when on and dark when off. At the moment the colour change isn't that noticeable. The blue-tooth icon for on or off is almost the same colour.

NO.
I can see why aroma is awesome for CyanogenMod so you can add the gapp that can't be pre-installed. But this is a tweaked stock firmware.
Anyway I didn't make this. This is just my views about aroma. I am old school and don't find it hard to remove root apps I don't want. Thats why I don't really get aroma. I would much prefer the dev to set up the ROM to how they think is best then give me a huge amount of options on what I should install and what I shouldn't.
If the Dev doesn't think its a good idea installing it then why have it as an option? Why not have it as the default install.
The only thing I can see aroma being good for is default launchers. But it really isn't hard to install the launcher you want and remove the default one. Now I think about it, I could just make up CWM zip that just replaces the default launcher making the amount you have to download smaller. If someone adds every available launcher for install for aroma. Its just adding to the size of the download for things people don't want.
Give me the download for the ROM then CWM zips for other launcher's. I know we are all on broadband now but still.

Read the first post. This is based on this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1694390
And I gave gustrick permission to use it. If you look at the linked post, I gave everyone permission to use it, but gustrick personally PM me asking if he could use it to work from. I am an open source dev. I want people to use my work. I don't really care if I get credited. Be nice if I did but I rather see my work/code shared in many projects, but gustrick went out of his way, even though I said anyone could use it, to get permission from me.
GingerMod is a AT&T based rom (like every other ROM on here). The firmware I used was from the 4.5.2A-51_OLL-17.8.
I personally installed the SBF. With a chance of bricking my EU phone flashing it, then rooted it and unlocked it. Then used CWM to make a backup so I could DeOdexed and zipalign it.
From there I had a fresh ROM I could work from. The ROM this is based on is not copied from anyone else. A lot of the tweaks where done by other people but they all got the credit they deserve.
We are all here to make the best rom for the Atrix as possible. I don't think people are here to tread on toes.
Sorry but whats different beetwen this rom and Pinguys rom

Hey buddy. To be honest mate im new to posting in forums so i thought when a new version come out you made a thread. Maybe some one can pm with with the proper way.
As for diffreces My vision for this rom is to give the end user as many ways to customize during install. So they can have it looking and working the way they want it! I have not been modding Android firmware for long. But I am into it big now so i will keep going and keep tring to bring more features.
I am despirate to take this rom so much further so if any one has suggestion of can help me in some way please pm.
Cheers Gary

To be honest there aren't many diffs between ROM's. Every mod you find can be flashed to any rom, I mean, ROM A can easily be as ROM B. It's just a matter of getting a ROM that is as YOU want out of the box, since many people don't want/can/have the time to mess around on their own.
Of course, flash a theme ain't that tricky, and most people do. But all other things. I guess thats when your choice of ROM has effect.
Stuff like remove bloat/apps, if you think it's too much, just delete what you don't want in /system/app before you flash it.
Thats what I think anyway.

You are part right. But not every mod can be flashed to every rom. In most cases the mod needs to be from the same firmware. Also every rom will be modded and tweaked diffrently and have diffrent look and feel so yes it is a case of finding one you like. With this rom however in time i hope to cater for every one just choose your setup at installation and your done

INSTRUCTIONS AND DOWNLOADS
The first thing I recommend you to do is to preform a nandroid backup (it's optional, but highly recommendable).
Secondly, if you want a clean install, get the XXMA3 Stock Firmware from HERE. This is a stock firmware package ready to be flashed through Odin and it's the one I've used as base. I've downloaded it from SamMobile and then created it using SplitFUS2.
Don't know how to use Odin? Click HERE!
Relevant downloads:
Download ClockWorkMod Recovery (if you don't have it already). Don't know where to download it? Just search for Millan.SIS CWM (for example)
Download TransfROMers_V1_2.zip (Please don't make any mirrors...)
Optional downloads:
Download and extract Rings_Notif_Alarms.rar -> OPTIONAL! Not needed for the ROM to work. These are just some custom ringtones, notifications and alarms arranged by me.
Download and extract Original Sounds.rar -> OPTIONAL! Only if you want the original stock sounds (in case you don't enjoy the ones included with the ROM).
Download and extract APK.rar -> OPTIONAL! These are just some cool apps that I use (specially Noozy Player).
Enough downloading, let's get started:
Place the downloaded zip file (and optional extracted folders) on your SD Card's root.
Turn off the phone
Access stock Recovery (Turn on the phone with this Key combo -> Long press Home+Volume up+Power Button)
Choose Wipe DATA
Choose Wipe CACHE
Choose Apply Update from SD card
Choose CWM -> you will boot into CWM Recovery
Wipe DATA and CACHE again via CWM
Go to Advanced
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Wipe Battery Stats (only if your Battery is full, otherwise, don't do it)
Press Back Button
Choose Install zip From SDCARD
Choose zip From SDCARD

NOTES
Since I didn't include kuro's data2sd script, I recommend you to use Links2SD in order to minimize the phone's storage. Don't know how to use it? Just click HERE.
Deadly's compact kernel has "THE" brightness bug. In order to fix that, just access CPU control and set the Freq. min clock to 312Mhz. For more information about this, click HERE.
Don't forget to enable all windows animations.

ENJOY AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR DOWNLOADS SO FAR!!!
As usual, I am not responsible if you brick your phone, or if any other x-file kind of stuff happens to your device. Although I think it's quite impossible to do that (if you've followed my instructions), remember that you're doing this because you want to and not because I'm telling you to.

looks cool will try it soon
Finally you made it! :highfive:
it looks cool. I want to flash it..
Thank you!
Thanks people.
I really appreciate all of your replies. Thought no one would give a damn about this, you know, since there are a lot of other cool ROM's out there.
Give me your feedback as well as your suggestions. I'll try to update all that's possible to turn this humble ROM into a better one.
Things I still want to accomplish:
1 - Remove the status bar from the lock screen
2 - Move the all apps/home icon to the dock's center
3 - Your suggestions...
By the way, don't ignore the optional downloads...
Hasta!

No swipe to remove.
Dialer tabs needs theming...
Settings.apk is missing some theming....
Popups needs theming....
Some of system sounds are making me sick.....
Overall good work! :good:

We are using different build of that kernel....
These sounds are too loud for late night....
One more thing - no init.d folder in /etc.... Is init.d supported?
Apps in launcher are in some random order for me...
I got only 4 icons on my launcher's dock.....
Sent from my GT-S6102 using Tapatalk 2
Yes init.d is supported (the kernel supports it).
The folder doesn't exist simply because I didn't add any script. But anyone is able to add they're favorite scripts.
You may ask why I didn't add any script...that's simple, because I didn't felt the need to.
