Im a lover of Sony Xperia Style and i want help putting Timescape as a widget in the default launcher this ROM has, can somebody help me?
I already have installed the timescape app on this ROM, i did it by myself but i cant put it as a widget, id already tried with the TimescapeWidget.apk and nothing happens

Timescape requires some framework dependencies , better try to convince Vince to support it.

You should try GingerKC. It has timescape and it's widget

Do you have any other SE launcher installed? You should remove that one first.

use adb
adb push activelauncher.apk system/app
restart your phone
or copy to system/app with root explorer and reboot. press home screen and it should ask you which launcher to use, tell it the xperia active and to not ask again and it should be installed.

check permissions for the .apk are set to:

V = ticked
_ = blank

Xperia active launcher made me some lag
It's not like default launcher, the fake is bad
I've also experienced that Sony Home Launcher made me some lag...
A question for experts: to reduce this lag is better to uninstall the default launcher (i.e. Launcher Pro)?

You don't need launcher 2 to do that. Just any customizable launcher such as launcherpro or ADW. Then you can recreate that style.

Read the actual description of the app in market, you'll see it says not all widgets etc are a part of the theme. But it does provide all links of where to get them. Follow the links.

I ve soft bricked couple of days ago so i reverted back to stock. I found a launcher in my sd card and i just push it to system. I forget where i get this launcher from. Maybe someone recognize it. This is what happened:

Yes. You re right. Stock and arc launcher and they work just perfect. Do you know who mod the arc launcher? Im sure i get it somwhere here. So i can link to it.

Well there's actually a few modded versions of the Arc launcher.
AFAIK, _Sparks and Bakabon19 have made some.

Not actually they modded the active launcher
The arc launcher that works on eclair is different
I cant find the thread now because i'm on the xda app and the lovely search button isnt working as it should

There is one active launcher that works too. It can be installed as normal apk and exist as an update of the arc launcher. But it always have fc when im adding widgets. I guess its sparks active launcher.

Install go sms and find similar theme.
Orginal sms is for 2.1 Android but kuyadroid is 2.3 so you cant have it.
no orginal xperia sms.

There is a modded CM7 messaging app by Sparks that looks like stock Xperia . Go to the Themes and Apps section and search "Xperia style mms". Should be the first thread on the results.
