Wow! Old thread, I am looking for the same. Anybody find it?
PagePlus Cellular 4G in October!
Stale thread but I'll update.
Should be no need to flash in the near future. I got an announcement today from my PPC reseller (Kitty Wireless) that 4G has been announced on PPC. Should be available in October. So, all you'll need for your VS910 is one of the PPC specific SIM cards that are coming soon.

I Actually just got my HTC Hero a few days ago and i have not been able to send picture messages. Im on Tmobile US and have tried just about very combianation of apn's possible and with a Big NO GO. I Also contacted T-mobile but they were unable to help me and i even talked to various reps.
Ok so well everything else on my phone works just fine such as calling, sending normal text, using the internet and RECEVING Picture! But i just cant send them. Is there anyone else with this problem and were you able to find a solution? I've had my phone rooted since i received it so i dont know if after rooting it stopped working cuz i never tried that. I would like to unroot my phone but i just dont know how. I would need a nandroid backup of an unrooted image so if anyone wants to help me with that. I'd appreciate it!

I don't know how that's going to help since they don't even have the G1 on the page.

I might go as far as to say that it might be a network issue with the carrier. But it's hard to say. I have tried the Hero build on my G1 but unfortunately, I haven't even tried sending MMS. I'm reasonably certain that if it wasn't possible then someone would have noticed it and posted it along with the other issues (such as bluetooth and led). If you've already tried all the APN's then I really don't know what else to tell you. Sorry man.
Did you do an upgrade, or wipe your ext3 partiton, fix the partition and wipe the device. Then re-install the ROM. That worked for me when stuff like Gmail and that were broken.
from what he said he has the HTC Hero phone not the G1 with the Hero rom, i dont know where you would go for technical support
Yeah, actually there doesn't seem to be a place to go for technical support! The hero forums are dead. nothing new has been done to the Hero besides being able to root!
im guessing i will have to send my device back for a refund as i really do need MMS to work!

Cool Thanks.. Ill wait!
I have recently come off of using an iphone and started using the dream and was wondering if it was possible to port itransmogrify to the dream. I am posting this because I here so much complaining about lack of flash support and wondered if this could be a possible solution to the problem. I am well aware that this is far from full flash support but I found myself constantly using it on the iphone and to say the least it is very convenient to have. Here is the link to the itransmogrify website http://joemaller.com/2008/1/12/itransmogrify/.
Please do not flame me if this is not useful or if it needs to be posted somewhere else if it already is posted somewhere else I am simply trying to help the community out by showing the developers something they may not have previously been aware of. I really hope this helps.
P.s
I own both the iphone and the dream and hands down the dream is better!
if u look into it you will see that there is nothing to "port" it is just an javascript. the only problem is that the Android browser will add an "http://" infront on javacript, so you cant use it as an bookmark. but if you klick on the link on his page, it works on android the same way like on iphone
hmm
I wonder if there is a way to stop the browser from putting html in front of java ill look into it and let you know of any break throughs thank you for the help.
How
how did u get it to work on the g1 im not sure i understand what you did

Hey guys! My mom got an LG Optimus "Black" but the model number LGL75C (which doesn't have a thread on XDA) and she wants it rooted for wireless tethering. It's a slider Optimus phone like the Optimus Q... but I have no idea what it is actually called. It was recently released as a Straight Talk phone, which she is currently on Straight Talk.
On the Straight Talk website, it lists the LGL75C as an Optimus Black, which it is definitely not. I'm honestly rather unsure of what the official name for it is. Optimus Black? Optimus Q? Optimus?...
However, though, because they decided to list it as an Optimus Black... that is a reason why I made this post here and because there is no Optimus Q threads on XDA. Also I made this post here since this location is probably where it would receive the most notice and I would receive the most help.
I've tried the market for tethering (wireless and USB) apps, but none seemed to work.
Also, as of the current time, there is no rooting solution for the LGL75C to my knowledge.
Is there any dev out there that can find a root solution for this phone?
I've tried the rooting method found here:
http://androidarea51.com/***-all-things-root-***-12/rooting-your-q/
It "finds a Gingerbread", but fails to send zerglings and fails any following steps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks guys!

I believe its "official" name is LG Optimus Zip.
Regarding a guide to root the device, unfortuntely I am not aware of any

Thank you for the clarification on the official name. After looking, you are correct. The name for it is indeed Optimus Zip.
I suppose a root solution will come one day. I'm hoping some devs can look into it and figure it out.
If anyone stumbles upon one of these and decides to give it a go with creating a root solution for it, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I have not seen a root for this device yet. I have read the the boatloader is locked and therefore cannot be hacked. If anyone finds a hack to this please inform me. Thanks. I want to tether it to my nexus tablet.
This maby can help? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwmSP9SSOK4
I checked around little and saw that it has several names..
I just bought a LG Spectrum. I was led to believe it was a thunderbolt until I got it. I am trying, and have searched, for flashing procedure for pageplus mobile. The only help I have found said to contact a person who could help, and I haven't recieved word back.
I would like a guide, or be shown a link to a guide. I have looked here, and googled, but I just have a feeling I am overlooking something. I have flashed a Droid X to page plus, and a razr. But I can find nothing on this.
I apologize in advance if there is a easily found thread, but i myself can not locate one.
Thanks
The Beav
Please forgive the stupid question, but BLU names so d*mned many phones the same I'm having trouble keeping track...
Looking to pick up a reconditioned BLU R1 Plus R0051UU for the daughter who dearly loved her BLU Life One (2015) X010Q (especially the 13MP camera). Before I do, want to make sure I can root the thing without the abominable KingoRoot. Can anyone point me to a thread here that provides rooting instructions that will work specifically for the R0051UU?

I would appreciate that. Been searching the Net with no luck; and the search on XDA seems a little too...fuzzy..."finding" threads that do not actually contain "R0051UU"

What I had found was a document claiming it was directions on making device connect with spFlash tool, but it mentions using a specific new encrypted da-agent. And this da-agent is no where to be found. Sorry I have no further information on it.
