Please be more specific about your problem:
- Does your phone have a sim-lock?
- Is your Sim-card locked due incorrect PIN's?
- Which software did you try and what did it do?
- What phone do you have?

Your problem is: "You used specific software to remove the simlock, but when you changed the bootloader, the sim-lock was restored."
Is this correct?
If so, try restoring your bootloader with the back up you should have made and see if it is gone again. It might also be a coïnstance

What magic goes on in htcdev's unlock.bin ?

Hi,
Since I have the hboot version 2.02.0002, apparently the only method to get S-OFF is by registering on htcdev.com, and downloading the unlock.bin.
I was wondering what causes the devices to unlocking itself with this file, while there isn't an alternative way to do it.
Why isn't it possible to use 1 downloaded file on multiple devices?

Most likely because it uses some kind of public-private key cryptography and no one but htc knows the private key.

[Q] Trying to restore Vodafone-Hutch AU to factory

Hi All,
As the title says, I am trying to restore my HTC One m7 to factory settings on the Vodafone AU network. I have had nothing but headaches over this since I first rooted this phone and unlocked my boot loader. Idealy I just want it all over with and restored to Vanilla software, I honestly don't really know how to go about this and I cannot located a RUU for my carrier.
I would really appreciate any help people can provide me with and just let me know any details that are required for this.

[Q] IMEI change problem

Pls I have a HTC one M7 running 4.4.3, rooted, unlocked bootloader, S-ON, Stock ROM and I need help in changing the IMEI no. Anytime I try, I get this error message 'This Project does not support SD Card'. Pls I need help here. Thanx
Why you want to change the IMEI? Did you steal the phone? haha!
Changing the IMEI is illegal and not allowed to be talked about on XDA

Cannot make my phone work after flashing a stock ROM (Bootloop)

I was trying to downgrade firmware to be able to root the device as it explains in this thread:
[XZ1c/XZ1/XZp] temp root exploit to backup drm keys implemented
Tools to backup TA partition (drm keys) of Xperia XZ1 Compact by j4nn https://j4nn.github.io/ As everyone knows, bootloader unlock via code from sony removes drm keys. That disables certain functions, the most critical one being the camera...
forum.xda-developers.com
I downloaded the 47.1.A.8.49_CE1 firmaware, and I flashed to the phone (removing all .ta files and user_XXX.sin files), and what I got is a bootloop... I tried other stock ROM and with the same result. In the desesperation, I may flashed user data, so maybe DRM key is forever gone, but I cannot say for sure... I don't know what I'm doing wrong, at this point I don't mind to lose the DRM key or if I have to instal a custom ROM. Any help would be really apreciated. I tried EMMA but it says the phone is bootloader is locked.
I was able to recover the phone by flashing a modern firmware... DRM keys and personal data were safe. To do a downgrade a factory reset is mandatory?
Te problem now is that I cannot use WiFi anymore. It disables instantly every time I enable it. Another problem is that I can't use the digital sensor anymore. I have tried two different firmwares with the same result.
Maybe I should try to flash a custom firmware? Downgrading seem a little bit difficult to me, so if I unlock the bootloader losing the drm keys in the provess, that won't be a problem for custom rom, isn't it?
