Need a backup from s6500 aka Galaxy Mini 2

need a clean backup from a non modded (orig Samsung Firmware) to make a custom Rom for the Device ... Pls help me

The S6500D is listed on Samfirmware, but the S6500 isn't.
This was posted a month ago somewhere on this forum:

i think he meen : backup rom in custom recovery then upload the backup

its 450mb after .zip it and mediafire doesnt let me upload it...

ok but the data.ext4.tar alone is 310mb and the limit is 200mb...

wipe, install the rom so clean, you make a backup of the rom clean, restore your backup of 450 m

I cant share becasue Im new member dont have a permission this come to my facebook group Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i The group creator is Berk Şemsioğlu but this rom is sooo good

i'm testing the rom and it's fast and stable, i'm not sure if it really have android 2.3.7 (don't know the difference)
dont have flash in the rom (you can flash it by yourself), uses rafael baugis kernel and the only thing i dislike is the ying yang in the loading logo.
here are some screenshots.
btw, sorry for my english, i'm from Chile.

Its 2.3.6 he edited d build.prop file to make it 2.3.7.

I checked. Im downloading it ryt now. I checked d firmware version on google. It said 2.3.6. Check it urself.

Works and looks nice but think it would be better if it was theme was build in instead of using halo launcher :good:

does it requires deodexed rom or will work on stock rom?

i've tested this rom..it works fine but i get a problem...
i'm unable to get root access, superuser app is not opening, and i cannot use titanium backup!!

i was using mobilego to restore contacts,apps and this problem got autofixed after restore...dnt knw how!

Oh look the same facebook group an same guy that copied the Retribution Beta 3.5 Release an probably others an not given no thanks or asked permission!!!
I wouldnt be suprised if this rom isnt even by Berk Şemsioğlu and its just the build prop edited to look that way on the phone info screen???

just download the Rom, extract it and flash the baseband with broodplank's QuickFlasher :good:

you can extract the baseband, see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658809 and flash only the baseband via odin.

have flashed with kpm & kpl but have issues ... lets try a baseband from my region .

If you have problems to extract baseband:
Make a cwm backup off current rom, install full india rom with baseband, install cwm again and restore backup. Wipe cache and dalvik.... done
More work but easier

I have tried this before...First time i thought i did something wrong so i reflash the whole ROM again ==

Hi there all !! This is a Deodexed Rom XXLI1 For s5830i made by me. This rom has all stock applications and root with busybox and su. This rom work in 100% and indicators of e-mails, sms etc. and other stuff works fine. Almost all Google apps are up to date and i manually deodexed Email.apk and it work !! If you have/has a question please send a message to me on PM. I used xUltimate 2.3.3 to deodexing rom if you wanna know .
How To Install:
1.First check that your firmware is the one mentioned above
2.Download Zip
3.Place it in your SDCard
4.Reboot into recovery (CWM)

Because you able to install misc. mods like 15 toggle with 6 lockscreens(wich i'll make for this rom), mod your apps like contacts/deskclock and other to ICS like or you want. It's quetly fast than odexed rom.

So now if I want to make boudzdroid v2 on version like this rom (XXLI1) this will make it updated??? However it has 15 toggles or u will add? Nice rom between keep up the good work

Or i must install original Rom First ??
and how is the WiFI strengh ?

Yea you can flash it,just follow the steps mentioned.
I don't know about WiFi,since it is stock based so it must be good.

no need to flash stock firmware
