Hi all,
I'm having an issue with the messaging app in Jelly Bean JRO03R 4.1.1 RC13v3 by elitemovil. have noticed this bug that was also previous build in JRO03L 4.1.1 RC12.1.
Every time I get a text message my notification plays to alert me of the message but when I open the messaging app the notification keeps playing without cause and the only way I can stop it is to either reduce my volume so I cant hear it or open apps menu and scroll to show running services and terminate the messaging process from there.
I have tried clearing the cache in recovery and even wiped the whole phone but the issue is still present.
anyone else having the same problem?
Currently using this ROM, have problem with mobile APN. It gets disconnected automatically and in order to connect back I have to reboot.

Expected FM radio as it is a stock ROM (almost). Even Spirit FM radio is not working.
Any way to get FM radio?

After I ve solved my first problem getting ICS on, I have the next one.
I tend to lose my wifi and carrier connection after a while with Medroid v6.1.
It says, it is connected, but instead of displaying the symbols in blue, it is in grey and I have not a connection. Sometimes the Wifi cannot find my Wireless n Router aswell.
I don't know if the problem started with rooting my phone with blackrose and later with bexboot as well because after I installed bexboot, I did not even find my Wireless n Router with Stockrom.
How do I get rid of bexboot if it is the problem.
I cannot post into the Rom Development thread of Medroid since I have less than 10 post. I hope somebody else here can help me.
i know nothing about bexboot--maybe delete out of sysytem apps thru root explorer
network connection issues are documented in the thread--need to scan/search and may be on OP
wifi may be you bexboot
you try a clean install with wiping ALL including System 3x
Where do I find the bexboot file? I thought it roots through boot.img and is gone once I ve installed a new rom. The full mobile was wiped before I installed it and the network carrier problem starts when the router does not receive any connection for internet although it is connected to the router....all other devices work with the router.
I know nothing about bexboot, so don't know where it is located. If it changes your hboot you may need to fastboot a stock one. I would restore a nandroid and see what happens.
Good luck
a second person has the issue and after researching bexboot, i would ask/pm dev
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1300356&highlight=bexboot
Do you have by any chance a stock HBoot? It would definetly help.
sorry--no atm at work
there is a link in Blackrose thread or check the two ics threads
maybe even google

Hi. rooted my phone over a year ago, and never had any issues with it. I decided to flash a new rom over the weekend, and after flashing the wifi will not turn on. When I go to the settings to turn it on, it'll just sit in the off position while saying turning on, and eventually just says error.
I thought it was the rom, but at this point I've flashed 5 different roms and the issue persists on all of them.
I've been trying to get it working, but haven't come across anything that kicked it on. Does anyone have any ideas?
You most likely need to update firmware and modem

What is your fastboot getvar all output?
Hello,
So far Holic's ROM seems to be the only one without in-call volume problems on my Vivid (Bell Canada) but there are two problems, one more annoying than the other
first, most annoying problem: after I install, the phone will upgrade to the latest apps like Hangouts. Everything works great, I can start hangouts and chat.
But after some time (5 to 10 minutes) of the phone just sitting there, or especially after a reboot, I will get the "google play services is not supported by your device" error. I have to remove update to google play store and resintall it, and then problem goes away temporarily and hangouts is usable again, and after the next reboot same problems reappear.
Does anyone have any fix for this?
second problem, less annoying:
On the phone dialer, there is a button at the bottom right which looks like a button for calling voicemail (has some funny symbols on it)
if I press this button I get error message "Android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly". Does anyone else have this?
My phone is S-ON
I reinstalled the rom several times. I do the full system wipe before from recovery, flash the boot image, install rom with WCX recovery, re-flash the boot image from the SD card
same problem every time.

What Gapps are you installing? Have you tried different ones?
CM11 in call volume is pretty much gone since about the middle of January (if you read the thread, you'll see good feedback about it from about the 15th on). Only issue is sending/recieving MMS. Might want to give it another shot since this seem to be the only one getting worked on by the devs.

I'm not flashing any Gapps on this, the ROM already comes with them.
This is a ROM based on 4.0.3 ICS, not kitkat
I actually tried two versions of CM11, one was the latest unofficial nightly build from february 19, and the other was the albinoman release from january 15. both have the low volume problem.
I also tried the Borked ROM, based on 4.0.3, and it has the same low call volume problem, but no other issues like hangouts not working.
What GApps should I flash for a 4.0.3 based ROM?
You don't flash gapps on a stock based ROM ever

clear the gallery app's data?
What, this is the exact issue I'm facing and was about to post a thread. So I've tried 2 different roms. One on 5.1 and one on 5.0 and still have this issue. I started having this issue only when I went from GPE edition (originally Sense) to a Sense based edition. I also have this problem when loading up videos on MX player. The play will just be non-responsive before the phone reboots. So glad im not the only one with this problem.
I have a GSM T-Mobile HTC One. I'm trying to make it last until my 6P gets shipped but that's getting harder and harder...

I've tried this. Same thing. I think it's more of a read issue because I get the same problem when Instagram is loading up the pictures for export.
Then maybe renaming the DCIM file? I dont know. Just spewing out random things
Because i renamed my DCIM file to DCIM69 and the phone created another DCIM file, and it left the DCIM69 file alone.
I started to have this issue on Oct 21 2015. I have my M7 on Sprint. Sense and android versions up to date. My phone restarts everytime I open the gallery (up to three times). Currently Im performing a factory reset.
After the last update OxygenOS 4.0.3 I can't get any internet access when connected to any wifi hotspot.
I've tried diferent wifi routers. I've tried disabling the Smart wifi switcher, the IPv6 support and it didn't work. I've tried reseting the wifi settings. I also tried to Wipe Cache Partition. I've tried forgetting specific wifi networks with no luck.
And desperate I upgrated to Open Beta 3 today and I still have the same issue.
I don't want to do a factory reset because it took me way too long to migrate from my previous android device.
Any advice?
Try To reset
Hi,
your wi fi setting and restart your mobile. I have same issue with my mobile. If its not working check out to update your apps update.
I think your only option is to factory reset as you've tried everything else. If that doesn't work, contact Oneplus support and if they concede, send back the phone.
