Try typing "ls". You'll see a list of apps and such. See if the apex app is there. Apex is also in the App Store, so I'd recommend uninstalling it from there.

Mifavor Launcher 1.8.2

Here's the famous MiFavor Launcher from ZTE! This is version 1.8.2! I have tried this on several different devices and it worked without a problem!
Features:
-Sorting apps by time installed, top hit and alphabetical.
-Change the order of the apps by your choise
-Hide apps from app drawer (most launchers have this feature locked and payment is required to unlock)
-Multiple screen switching animations
-Organize and remove pages from homescreen
-Change homescreen and lockscreen wallpaper separately
-Change phone and notification ringtone separately
Installation:
1. If your handset is rooted it is recomended to copy "Launcher2.apk" to root/system/app
because some functions may not work if it's not installed as system app
2. If your handset isn't rooted install as normal .apk but you may face problems because it's not a system apk

Remove search bar in app drawer/revert to older app drawer.

At some point today my phone updated and changed my app drawer to some new style. I don't care for the search bar at all, its useless to me completely. Is there any way to remove it, or revert to the older one without rooting?
I also would like to remove the recent apps or whatever that is at the top.
My phone did this after updating Android System Webview. I sure I hope I can revert it back to the OG look.
I don't think it's the Web view. I guess I'm going to have to find another launcher
I've had a system update for a few days now, after webview updated I tried opening the app drawer and it's now different, and I have yet to install the OTA.

Huh..You got vertical app drawer and i didnt..HOW??
I'm guessing you're running the Android 6.0 dev preview? Looks like Google Now on Tap.

My phone is bone stock, not rooted only ota updates from Google. No dev view anything.
your google app has updated, try going to settings > apps > google app and uninstall updates, should let you revert to an older version.

Error inflating Widget on multitasking screen - How to uninstall Google search widget

Hi,
I installed Google (google search app) from Google Play Store on my Kindle device. The app automatically adds a Google search widget at the multitasking screen and I cannot find any option to disable it. After I uninstall the app the widget disappears, but still remains a message which I think that in English will be "error inflating widget".

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I tried to install and uninstall multiple times, clear all cache files from the app before removing it, without any success.
Also, I am using a Kindle Fire HD7 not rooted with the most recent version of the Fire OS.
Any help?
Did you ever get an answer for this?

Unfortunately no.
I had the same problem , and Amazon said to fix it you should try a factory reset, did you try that?
Can you fix it with this? https://forum.xda-developers.com/am...-required-widgets-preferred-launcher-t3637814

There must be another way??
I would like to get rid of it too.
But I also dislike the date/weather-widget on top of the homepage. How can I disable this one!?!?

You can use lawnchair launcher.
You can install "lawnchair launcher" from Google Play Store. You must also install lawnfeed apk with this launcher. You can download lawnfeed apk from apkmirror website. Use any icon pack with this launcher you like. I prefer cleanandroid icon pack.

You need to disable Google app from settings. You can rid only the weather display though. Date still is displayed.
I stopped the Google app, and the weather display is gone now.
Ok. But now I still do not want to see the other items: date and Google search bar.
(Why is this designed in Android 9?)
Edit: Mission impossible. A launcher (Nova) solves these problems.

Hello everyone!
Is there a way to remove the vivo launcher and use nova launcher and make the gestures work? I have installed nova launcher and removed the default vivo launcher but when I do this I lose the gestures... if anyone has the solution I appreciate it...

Settings> Safe> more security settings>replace the system launcher
Although I'm pretty sure you don't have to uninstall the stock Vivo launcher. Perhaps you lose gestures if you uninstall it.
Hello, I already did that... but the gestures are lost when disabling the original vivo launcher, and if I leave it installed but use the option to enable another launcher, sometimes it returns to the vivo launcher without my authorization

Could be because the other launcher got killed by the system.
Same here using Smart Launcher. Setting everything to replace the stock launcher & sometimes it sticks, sometimes it doesn't. I guess the system is constantly trying to override certain changes. Without uninstalling then not sure of any workarounds?
