[Q] Extreme Bare-bone & Stable ROM with Max battery?
I am looking for a stable (!), good-battery (!) and bare-bone (minimal) ROM for my Galaxy Ace.
I use Go SMS Pro, LG Camera app and Make Calls, and I can't stand running processes. And 2nd purpose is to Play Games.
Since now old version of SanGinger Ace XXKPO serves me well with Battery Extender 1.5.1.
But i want newer Stable ROM with totally DARK & Minimal Theme.
my current setting SetCPU:
Governor Smartassv2
Min 122-Max 540
I/O noop

Ok i am currently running on dlevs 4.2 with the latest talon kernel and i have been experimenting with undervolting no overclock and i was wondering is there a widget that will just tell you what CPU speed u are running currently. There is one speed that my phone becomes a little unstable and i want to know what speed that is so i can up the mv
Official CM7.2 version has only the stock governors. How can i add more governors, like smartassv2?
I want to downclock my ace a bit, but 480mhz is too slow, 787mhz doesn't save anything. Is it possible to add custom frequencies, like 600 or 700?
Flash Firekernel. It will automatically add Smartassv2 and other governors.
Thx a lot smartassv2 @ 614mhz runs smooth & saves a lot of battery
Hello friends how are you.
Well I ask this question to know which CPU mode would go better with the RTM Standard Edition - Blekota S4 ROM, the team I use is the Galaxy Ace S5830 and the equipment brings options to change the parameters of the CPU.
Then I want to know which of this team would go best with this ROM "that makes it more fluid runs."
The obciones that I have are:
-Interactive
-SmartassV2
-Conservative
-Userspace
-Powersave (I imagine this is for more battery duration)
-Ondemand (When installing the ROM had this, then it is changed to the Interactive)
-Performace
If I would stay pudera better clarify which ROM to install was grateful, since this ROM I really like their appearance.
Hello Everyone,
I am a Moto G5+ user, I have seen many users complaining about battery life- Some of them are getting a great battery life on a ROM, others are facing battery drain on the same ROM.
I personally tested many ROMs and for me battery life was almost the same. It actually depends on the applications that you use.
But still I personally felt I was getting a better battery life on my device.
So, I decided to share my preferences or my mods that I am currently using.
I haven't created any of them by my own. I am just sharing the way I optimize my battery usage.
This method still varies from person to person. Sorry, If it didn't work for you.
Mods that I use on all the Roms:
1) Ace kernel: For me it gives the best battery life since it is an EAS based kernel.
2) Naptime: It is not that important, since Oreo and Pie have a better DOZE than Nougat.
3)GPU Turbo Boost(Magisk Module): Just helps me while gaming.
4)Doze for Google Play Services(Magisk Module): Works great on OREO and below, Unfortunately, PIE doesn't support it.
Now, The main:
5) HELIX ENGINE: This works really great.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-helix-engine-v1-0-beta-3-t3745746
This Application allows you to set profile for each App. Means you can set the CPU frequency of each application.
Suspend Engine works when the device is locked, you can set the least frequency for this. It minimises the idle drain.
Settings for HELIX ENGINE on moto G5+:
1)Battery profile:
CPU max(little and Big): 960000
CPU min: 400457
2)Balanced profile:
CPU max: 1536000
CPU min: 400457
3)Performance profile:
CPU max:1843200
CPU min: 400457
4)Suspend Engine:
CPU max: 480000
CPU min: 400457
You can set it according to your own needs.

Please report if worked.

Thank you!
Hi all, I have just bought this Franco Kernel APK and I really do not know at all how to use it. I messed around with it for a moment and then ended up making my phone device really laggy. Fortunately I backed up the original kernel and restored it now it is ok already. My device is a Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition RMX2195 and my kernel is 4.19.152-perf+. I am using Android 11. I would really appreciate all the help that I can get in setting this Franco Kernel APK up. No it's just sitting there collecting dust I paid for it but I don't know how to use it.
It's been 5 days, does no one want to help a Noobie?
Franco Kernel manager works same as any other kernel manager like overclock underclock (CPU/GPU), change CPU/GPU governors ,run shell script and per-app profiles for more app based CPU,GPU control
*Works on rooted devices only*
For battery saving : you can reduce your clock speed of both CPU &GPU by 20~50% anything lower than that more lag
CPU & GPU governor to powersave
For performance : keep both CPU&GPU at Max
Use on-demand or performance governor
For more details on governor check link below
Governors/Hotplug
cpu governors, gpu governors, hotplugging, hotplug governors, cpu governor comparison, cpu governor graphs
androidmodguide.blogspot.com
work different based on your choice like how you like to use your device
I have set to battery saving and use per-app profiles on which I need more performance (games)
Thank you
Thanks I've tinkered around with it a bit and got a lot of batt savings...
When I charge my Pixel 6 on Pixel stand doesn't show wattage info. Only if I plug in the device on wall charger. Any ideas?
