WiFi causes system to crash - no MAC address

Hey there...
I have a serious problem with my WiFi everytime i turn it on it causes the system eighter to freeze or reboot.
The problem is that my system cannot recognize the MAC address of my WiFi chip.
(WiFi - Tethering leads to the same problem)
This happend first when I was changing from WGSpoelstra (GBE v10.8.0) to MIUI (Roadrunner 1.8.12).
Currently I use:
- MIUI Roadrunner edition 1.8.12
- BB: 1035.21_20110725 (newest from july 25)
- vorkKernel 20110802 (newest version)
What I already tried:
- several WiFi fix apps from the market
- full wipe and reinstall MIUI (several times)
- full wipe factory reset and reinstall of Stock rom (also formatting all devices in CWR)
- changing the baseband
I do not hope that it is a HW issue, the chip should be ok since I did not drop it or overheat it or stuff like that.
Which kernel have you tried with stock?
Sent from my Optimus 2X using Tapatalk
I think the Kernel delivered by the stock rom, but i am not sure on this...
Does the stock rom reinstall the kernel when flashed with smartflash?
EDIT:
Actually it did reset the kernel and the baseband to factory settings.
So I think it is a hardware issue :-(

WiFi is not working across all roms [CM/stock] (logcat attached)

Hey, (sorry for my English)
i recently bought cheap Nexus One with broken WiFi. I thaught that it's a matter of old/ missmached radio or rom, so why not give it a try.
I flashed newest CM10, then some GB, but with no success.
On ICS when I enable WiFi, there is a message "Enabling WiFi", but nothing happens, on GB it's pretty the same, but phone hangs and falls into a bootloop, until I boot into recovery and wipe data. WLAN MAC address is listed as "unavailible" .
I flashed different radios. Phone came to me with some high radio, like 5.12.xx... (or something), i tried flashing 5.08.00.04 , or even 4.06.00.12_7 but still no success.
Do you have any idea of possible solution, or my WiFi chip is completly dead? Is it even possible, that all other things (sensors/calls/data/ everything) are working properly, but not the WiFi?

[Q] AOKP 4.4.4 WiFi problem [FIXED]

Device - Xperia SP
ROM : AOKP 4.4.4 version aokp_huashan_kitkat_nightly_2014-07-17
I just flashed the above version of AOKP onto my Xperia SP but it the WiFi setting seems to be perpetually stuck to 'Turning WiFi on'. I have rebooted and tried using other toggles such as the notification bar and the widget, but to no avail. I have also tried installing a third-party WiFi manager app from the Play Store (I have 3G working).
Is anybody experiencing the same problem and is there a fix? Please ask me for more information, I will be happy to oblige.
UPDATE 27-07-14 : I managed to fix this by wiping all data/cache, clearing the Dalvik cache and reinstalling. WiFi is working normally now, though the range is not exceptional. Thanks.

No 3G/data connection

Hello!
I have a D405N.
After flashing the latest build (02/02) of CM11 by Quarx I've lost 3G/data.
I'm only able to receive/make phone calls and receive SMS (can't send them).
I've tried flashing the ROM again - No success.
I've tried cleaning everything, reflash ROM and GAPPS - No success.
I've tried reverting to old build - No success.
I've tried configuring SMSC manually (to send SMS) - No success.
My phone just keeps stuck in 2G.
In Android service menu (*#*#4636#*#*) it reads: GPRS: Off.
Tried to manually enable data connection - No success.
I've even tried to manually set APN for network access - No success.
I also noticed that when I'm going through the initial setup my phone doesn't get the date/hour correctly....
You guys have any other suggestiong besides flashing the KDZ file?
Thanks!

That's weird, but it sound like you are flashing a stock rom from the wrong region, where are you getting your kdz? your region match that kdz?

[Q] HTC One M7 [anyROM on 5.1.1] Bluetooth Turns On And Off

[Q] [anyROM on 5.1.1] Bluetooth turning on ...
Hello community,
i have a massive problem with bt on my devices. As long as i stay on a 5.0.x (Sense) or 5.1 (GPE) Rom --> bt is working fine. I can start and stop as often as i want.
Searches for several days now to find a solution to get 5.1.1 working for me.
switching states results in a stuck of bluetooth turning on but never activate after several statechanges.
Doesnt matter if no pairs are build. if it is on it´s working fine. BT button doesn´t work anymore - no function when tapping on it.
Just showing 'bluetooth turning on ...' for hours.
This did not help:
clear bt cache
clear bt data
sometimes resulting in a full reboot (crash).
factory reset / wipe in TWRP
reset cache and or dalvik
try another 5.1.1 rom
tried aicp, viper, cm12.1, crdroid, pixel ...
Did it make even worse:
restart in save mode.
could turn bt off once from on state, never started after.
This did help a little:
using siliconvalleys kernel - it fells like the time to 'crash' (happens every few hours before) doubled.
Does allways work:
reboot / shutdown & restart - but this is uncool and makes the phone not usefull.
logcat - enteries when stucked:
err bt_hwcfg axi_bridge_lock aquire: Timer expired (62)
and some
err qr-netmgr-lib Processing rtm_newlink
I really would like to use a stable m7 with 5.1.1
Anone with a hint to solution?
regards
OT.
edit1:
phones are with OS 7.19.401.2 ROOT S-ON HBOOT 1.61.0000
edit2:
Whoever edited the topic:
it doesn´t turn off! it just stays with the screen: "turning on ..." but don´t, nor i can turn it off again without rebooting the device.
