[Q] Is it really possible to root RAZR I without unlock the bootloader?

Sorry, but I am a little noob on this.
Is it possible?
If yes, what are the differences between root without unlock the bootloader than unlocking?
Does any one has a tutorial or a video that teaches how to do that? (in portuguese would be TERRIFIC).

Just be carerull at the step that you have to press power+ vol up. If it doesn't works, try again.
Don't forget to do it on a x86 PC and install drivers

Galaxy s i897 Help

Hello Friends, I have a galaxy s captivate i897, but now I only enter Download Mode ... I did some procedures with odin, install it and the cel lit SpeedKernel between the recovery and all that, but try putting a roms depues from the same Odin and served, and the phone went back to how it was before, that only comes to download mode, Try to install your speedKernel but now does not work, Odin gets stuck ... I Tried with Official Roms but neither works And With Odin3 One-Click Downloader Neither works.
I Ask That You Help Me To Solve This And Thanks

Need help rooting ATT Flex D950 Kitkat

ioroot 2.5 doesn't seem to support D950 on KK. I wonder if anyone successfully rooting the device using the alternatives. If so, please provide your guidance. Thank you.

I am in the same boat, Need to root ASAP.. Please help any one, tried all methods none worked for me...

If your on 4.4 wont root that i know of. If your on 4.2.2 should work fine.

Exactly why i haven't updated to KK yet. As soon as an exploit and and root method are figured out, I'm there.

If you updated to KitKat the root method won't work for you. You'll either have to wait until there's a root method available for KitKat or downgrade to 4.2 and root your phone.

No, i have JB 4.2.2 but the ioroot doesn´t work, it shows this:
adbd cannot run as root in production builds
error: device not found
You don´t know why happen this?

That sounds like you don't have the proper drivers installed, did you install both the adb and LG drivers from the ioroot thread?

Yes, i thought that and i reinstall the adb and the lg drivers, you don't think that maybe the reason is that my g flex is telcel and no at&t?
Im sure that the model is the same (D950) but what do you think?

Is telcel an international carrier? Or pre paid? Pretty sure if your PHONE MODEL is a D950 then it should work regardless of your carrier.

What did you mean with international carrier?
I have a data plan here with telcel that can be the problem?
I have been search specifically this model but with telcel and there is no videos

hi, i used the one that says: "Para el modelo de Claro Puerto Rico descarga este archivo modificado por mi ioroot25mod.zip" in this page:
androidpuertorico. blogspot .mx/2014/04/ como-rootear-el-lg-g-flex-de-claro .html (solo quita los espacios - just delete spaces) and worked fine for my flex from telcel.

Claro is a provider from Latin and South America. Claro PR is the Puerto Rico subsidiary.
I've not been able to make the phone send photos or connect wifi with the Claro PR APN that I've been using.

Can anyone help me with this?

Yes, the phone was only released by AT&T in Puerto Rico.

First you need unlock your device for work with ANY GSM Network in the world (simlock).
You have two option for unlock ur device
1. Unlock via IMEI <---- the most easy method (paid method) <--- you need send me PM for help
2. read and follow all steps for unlock Ur device for free (advance method, but easy ) (see link)
HTC Vivid at&t S-Off and Sim Unlock
when you unlock your device, only insert CLARO PR simcard for get signal, then, you need edit or add APN's for CLARO PR, for Internet, MMS and more functions
that's it.....

The phone is already unlocked but for some reason sending photos or videos doesn't work. Data works but wifi only sometimes.

There is an APN list... From CyanogenMod... I think its an XML...
You can try the one from there... But you'll need a program called 'NotePad++' to view it

Please let me know, what APN you use and not work

The phone belongs to a co-worker and I'm helping him. I really don't remember I know I tried few APNs found here and other places. He even took the phone to a repair shop and they charged him 10 for setting it but in the end he could not sen pictures or videos and wifi was not working well.
I reset the phone with the RUU to start from zero. Could you provide an apn that you know is working so I could try again?

M7 mute during calls, please help!

Hi guys, in last days I'm having this annoying problem. Sometimes, when I receive a call (or when I do it), the phone is mute, I can't hear no voice and the other person can't hear me from the other side. Totally mute. And when it happens, I have to restart the phone, and sometime even if I restart the phone, the problem is still there and have to restart again. In last 2 days it happened many times. Someone had the same problem?

Yes, may times during a day but I dont have to restart. Call again is enough to get audio back.

Yup I was having the same problem until last night, are you using supersu ? The last update a couple of days ago is the problem, I've changed to superuser and the problem has gone.

Nope, my phone has stock rom. Which update do you mean? This morning I checked for updates and there was one of about 197MB, and I made it, but the problem there was before and after it.

I'm with a custom ROM but if you're 100% stock this is not the problem. What firmware are you on?

My firmware is 6.09.401.10, Android version 4.4.3 and sense 6. Kernel 3.4.10.

Ok, don't worry. I can't root my phone because I have to send it to repair because of the purple camera problem is great, so I'm sending it in next days.
EDIT: now the phone function stopped working, and it said "com.android.phone has stopped working, do you wanna send a report?"

Try a factory reset, boot to the boot loader which you can do stock or not by holding the volume down whist restarting the phone, and scroll to factory reset, press power to reset, make sure you backup anything important before doing this and see if it works then.

Parliamo in italiano finchè siamo solo noi due... sembriamo gli unici due sfigati co sto problema.
Io stasera quando torno dall' ufficio provo a cambiare la radio, tanto son fuori garanzia da un pezzo perchè il mio è uno dei primi arrivati in Italia, e se si sistema domani ti faccio sapere. Ora devo capire che radio installare, perchè penso che questa sia l' ultima.... sinceramente non ho più controllato.

I've see that you got problems with SuperSu app. I try to use another one this evening, when I come back home. And I will try to flash another radio first.

After some research it seems that this radio is the latest :/ I've tried disabling root, downgrade SuperSu but no luck (in fact OP don't even have root, so it doesn't matter). Well I'm in trouble now Maybe we need an older radio to flash.
