[ICS or JB] Any ROM with camera working well?

Sorry for the probably FAQ, but I am reading the description of a lot of different ROMs to understand if there is one with camera working well.
Anyone can please help me? I'm a bit of a newbie, as far as the Optimus Black is concerned )))

look cm10 now has an awesome picture capture but video recording is a bit laggy but doesnt crash at all ,, its nearly similar to cm7 now or even better , and all jb or ics roms posted are based on cm10 sources because its day-by-day updated thanks to the magician "richardo "

Ricardo BTW, not all of fixes are from CM. Kernel is stock.

picture quality is very good as it is said above. i find video recording quality not bad either.

picture quality of cm10 camera is much better than the stock rom..........and quality can be enhanced by using camera zoom fx....
BUT video recording is really bad.......and not HD:crying:

Yes I agree , korean v30i has a great camera and videorecording works perfect ,makes realy nice videos in hd 720p :thumbup:

Korean ICS is just great using it for 3 days now no problem at all!!! But only bugs remain, ie, SD card and messaging problem... but for me its not a problem.
Ill probably test CM10 during the holidays (in 1 week) since the feedback from latest nightlies of CM10 are really positive.

Picture quality of CM10 is worse than stock. CM10 camera is too strong denoising filters, pictures is poor quality.

Official CM10 is having quite the camera for daily use. You could, however use HDRCamera or CameraMX to improve the quality.

CM10 camera is not working for me as there is no camera icon in the drawer itself please help me out..

Yes.... I have camera app pre-installed with cm10......
In cm10 camera app is named as gallery2.apk...
Check this in your /system/app

After take the picture, camera hang on that picture. All menu still worrking
Need libjni_mosaic.so use take panorama.

I dunno I saw on the nexus 4 video that instead of one square focus thing in the camera, it has two circular ones...

The circular one was for persons, so I think it either focuses twice, or tags the face, or whatever. There usually is a quite normal focus

Still hang when take picture. Must close camera or switch to Galery and press Camera button. And camera focus time is too longggg

This works for me (ICS). Mirror 5. Just pushed, set permissions and owner. Photosphere works, as well as the gallery and can view the captured sphere shot.

Camera Hangs
i dont know why the camera hangs after taking pictures

Keyboard working great
But camera pic quality seem not good...I feel CM10 camera quality is better than this
And also hangs on taking pic
Video recording is also hanging like in CM10

[Q] Port to i9305 | Note 2 pop-up browser and multi-window control

Hi are there any developers out there willing to port the Note 2 pop-up browser and multi-window control to the S3 i9305? these are really handy features!
A friend of mine showed it to me on the custom i9300 rom: Omega v33.2 and it is awesome!! I'm pretty sure these ports would be very well received in the growing S3 i9305 community!!!
So far we have the Note 2 camera app and gallery app: here EDIT: the camera app and gallery app port are combined, it would be nice to have the option of either/or instead of only both

pop up browser does work on our device and I think it is in all custom roms for the i9305 but I don't think multi window will be working on the i9305 until 4.1.2 is released for it. It is not a simple port for that as it is integrated into most of the framework.

Did you ever find a multi window mod? Maybe now that multi window is out with jelly bean?

I'm using Pandoriam ROM v6.6, both features included. Also during installation you can choose many other features like cameras and galleries.

Let's port an awesome camera app.

Dear devs! Could you please take a look at those mods of the camera? I've flashed it on lacoste rom and I think is awesome! The issues are that is fc after every pic made(the pic is stored on sd) zoom from vol buttons doesn't work, and video recording also doesn't work.
The quality of the photos is great.
This mod is for jb and cm, but also exist a mod for sense roms

Just tried this with Nostromo, Liquidsmooth and Pacman roms.. Resolution of images taken is only 320x480 so its rather useless for now.. No option to change it..
