If you came down the Thinkpad Tablet route and you've got the keyboard folio case sitting around doing nothing here's what you get

The Folio Keyboard really is a good keyboard and you only need to add a $1 OTG cable. It might not be the neatest or lightest solution about but............
With the "death" of Lenovo's Tablet it might be worth keeping your eyes peeled as you might be able to pick up the Folio cheap
Wow, it fits surprisingly well!

Track point works, quick access buttons work
My Nexus is in one of those slim ebay magnetic cases and it sits nicely on the bottom "shelf". I might actually get my Sugru working and make a holder to "mount" the Nexus closer to the centre. Just waiting on a slightly longer OTG cable.

Stopped by my local Marshall's today and found this case for $5.99. It fits the Nexus 7 perfectly. I had to fidget with the top and bottom clasp, but once it snapped in, it fits fine. It's easy in and out now too. It isn't a Smart Case with Wake function, but I'm probably going to get a small magnet strip and attach it to the inside for the function.
For $6, it gets the job done. Overall, I'm happy with this case. For the price, you can't beat it.
You can purchase this case at Amazon.com for $19.99 if you don't find it locally.

Both the Power/Volume and the USB/Headphone ports aren't covered and easily accessible.
Nexus sits perfectly in the clasps.
I really really wanted to get the Tumi Bluetooth Keyboard since it comes with a pouch that fits the Nexus and the Keyboard perfectly, but it's $125. The keyboard is maybe a 1/4 inch at the most longer than the Nexus 7. It's nice, but not at that price.
Thanks OP, ill try to score one for $6 till something amazing comes out

I have seen them on ebay and amazon.. Official Samsung case will be too much $$
Actually bought black one (EFWG530BNOIR) for £13.38.
Great quality, real skin like feeling.
Auto lock/unlock after opening/closing the cover feature doesn't work.
a $30 case is way too much for $99 phone !

should i be expecting any reflections? I think that i would like to not have any on a phone this costly.
should i return it? maybe next one won't reflect as much?
please don't give answers or opinions that might shed to much light on to the real issue or contradict too much with my views.
What reflections?

That's nasty. I'd definitely send that back. After all this should never happen on a $1k plus device.!
