[Q] [HELP] Upgrade TWRP 2.3.0 and TP does not boot? - TouchPad Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I upgraded TWRP 2.2.0 to TWRP 2.3.0 via GooManager. I try to test it by flashing a rom (via GooManager). The TP reboot and the TWRP home screen displayed then stuck (did not respond to any touch commands) then after 15-30 seconds, the unit reboot itself to Moboot screen. I selected to boot into CyanogenMod, the screen stayed at "loading..." but nothing happened. I reboot the unit (Power+Home) and tried TWRP again and same thing happened. I can't get the TWRP to work nor boot into CM. Boot into WebOS is working.
Any idea how to fix this issue?
Thank you.

[Q] Stuck on boot loop after bad ARHD installation

I recently tried to upgrade to the newest ARHD rom. After going through the AROMA installation menus and finally reaching the actual installation, I momentarily paid attention to something else, and when I came back to the phone, it went mysteriously back to the ClockworkMod Recovery menu (no installation completed confirmation). I then ran Rom Cleaner as I usually do, rebooted, and now I'm stuck in a loop. I have been able to do power down+volume to HBOOT but that's about it. I can't do the factory reset. I can't get into recovery. It would show "Entering Recovery...", the ClockworkMod recovery menu appears for a brief millisecond, and then it reboots into a loop again. I tried to reboot and it automatically tries to go into recovery, again shows clockworkmod menu for a brief millisecond and then boot loop. I tried using Hasoon2000's HTC One All-In-One Toolkit and it is able to check CID. What should I do?
Fixed! I flashed TWRP and was able to reinstall ARHD normally. Whew.

[Q] After flashing TWRP 2.6.1.0 recovery hangs

While attempting to root my device I flashed the recovery successfully with twrp 2.6.1.0 via fastboot terminal on my PC. Device booted to "HTC quietly brilliant" white screen and then does not progress beyond that point. I rebooted into recovery and using TWRP i installed the superuser.zip and it completed successfully. I then reboot again, but does not progress past the "HTC quietly brilliant" white screen (with developer message in red letters at bottom of screen). Device does not progress past this point, I have left for up to 20 min and simply does not proceed.
I am new to the community and probably did some noob mistake, just don't know where. Do I need to flash a ROM? I can reboot into fastboot or recovery, but no OS loads.
I seem to remember seeing here that you need to use 2.5 because 2.6... doesn't work............
flashed TWRP 2.5.0.0 no luck
I re-flashed successfully from 2.6 to 2.5 variant and still same response. I don't have any idea where to go from here.
some success...

Click to collapse
Some progress......flashed TWRP 2.5 via fastboot --> sideloaded stock ROM_deodexed 1.31.XXX and was successful at getting phone to boot properly.
Only problem I have noticed at this point is that my gallery keeps crashing when loading my photos, but everything else seems fine. Not a big deal, but when using Zoe mode it saves each frame as a separate photo and can be difficult to navigate efficiently.

Freeze at Boot Logo

I've installed the TWRP Recovery and it always freezes at boot logo for several mins, restarts and then boots to Lollipop. Is just me or everyone having this issue? Is it peculiar to TWRP 2.8.3.0?
If it is, is there any working CWM for Titan?
Thanks!
Edit:
I just double checked to find out that SuperSU/Root was the one behind this issue.

Can't install/wipe anything (rom, recovery, ecc).

Hi everyone.
I've android 6 stock (xt1068), and today i woke up and it doesn't work
I try to install the twrp and then to flash rom, ecc, but after that i install the twrp succesfully, when i go in the recovery i see that there is no twrp but the main stock recovery. This thing basically appens with everything that i install/wipe, infact the bootloader tells me that my action worked, but it didn't.
Another thing is that if i let my phone boot up, after the boot animation it tells me 'Starting Android', then this text go out, and for a second the boot animation appears again, after that all the screen goes black. (The phone is not closed, but it is showing black in the screen, i think you got it)
Thank you

Magisk updated today, worked fine, but after rebooting stuck on google logo

I don't think it's bootlooping, it just sits on the splash screen. I can still go to the bootloader and TWRP recovery. What's the best course of action?
I'm also seeing this behavior I think. I did:
1) ./flash-all with Android 9 factory image.
2) Reboot, turn on ADB access etc.
3) Install MagiskManager, latest version 6.0.0
4) Reboot into recovery, and install Magisk v17.2, everything seems okay.
5) Reboot system
After the reboot, it gets stuck on the Google logo and then eventually reboots into recovery...
Anyone else seeing something like this?
