Does GTA III work on your Desire HD?

Hi!
I just really want to be able to play the new android release of GTA III but for some reason it says my device isn't compatible. If it says otherwise for you, which ROM do you use?

It works for me im using virtuos unity 2.39 it also worked when i had cyanogenmod 7.1.0

I am using a MIUI rom called Freshly Squeezed or something like that. Very good ROM exept for the fact that I can't install a lot of apps. Is GTA any fun btw? The controlls and so on?

working fine on arhd ,make sure you have plenty of space on sd card when downloading the data and not just exact space as its causes issues and may need to overclock a little also and its v1.0 that works as thats what i have

To be honest it is a great experience For me playing it on DHD is easier compared to pc controlls

GTA III on DHD
Hi I've got DHD running ARHD v6.31, tried GTA v1.1 downloaded dataover Wi Fi and it kept freezing with a battery pull being only solution but then installed v1.0 over the top of it and now it works fine and is great game. Attached below is a file I found in another forum which improves the graphics settings. copy it to : sdcard/Android/data/com.rockstar.gta/files/GTA

Same here.
I usually run Blackice but I've tried MIUI Freshly Squeezed & ARHD. Had no luck on any of them. Going to try RCMix & Virtious now though.

i went the android market the browser and it shows that its not available for our phones but is available for the sapphire/dream lol

ICS For SGS Cannot Play Gameloft Games?

Can anyone play gameloft games on SGS ICS rom?
I've tried most trending ICS rom for SGS such as AOKP, AOSP, ICS Stock and MIUI ICS. First the game worked well, after a minute it's closed by itself.
Anyone can suggest me the ICS rom that can play gameloft games?

i've tried cm9 nighlty too, and got the same problems

Hmmm.. I can play gameloft games.. And they work pretty smooth on doc's ROM (ics)
I tried them on cmon also.. Worked for me..

I'm having the same problems with the latest nightly CM9. Haven't tried other ICS's. Some games like NOVA runs for 2 min and some like Spiderman TM force close as soon as I start the first level. EA games and latest Kinectimals are running smoothly.

Hmmm... Then u shud download chainfire 3D with plugins..

exactly! that's what I mean. So the problem is not only happen to my phone. You know, we can call it ICS bug! agree??

Had This Problem Since i Installed The Jellybean ROM On My Phone Since That My Phone Does Not Run Games Like NOVA 3 Nova 2 and other gameloft games can i do something for that to stop :crying:

Which JB Rom? It might not have working HW acceleration.

AOKP Or CM10 But Im Currently On Zeus But Ive Flashe Like Million Of TImes And Still Have That Problem

Yes, you can do something: change rom and go back to Gingerbread...
JB is still unstable, do not expect a flawless performance...
i would flash a JB only for tasting and testing.

I have used it with pimp my rom and v6 supercharger and results are great.
are you talking about lezo ics for our device?

CK 0.4D Kernel and always pimp your rom for better result.
For me boot time is OK
but still if you feel, Do one thing flash SirTJ Style's RC3 using SUTLR and then install and see the diffrence.
As a general Advice set the background activitis to 1 in developer option and make a backup of memory card and slow format it to defrag it.
This will improve the overall performance.
I do same thing after every 2-3 months to boost up the speed of phone

CK kernel 0.4d is good enough for more smothness delete the 01-zramswap file in system/etc/init.d folder
If you want to improve boot time
Do following things.
1. Flash RC3 By Sir Tj using SUTLR and then flash this rom.
2. set background activities to1 in developers option to improve speed
3. Slow format your memory card and then copy the files and then use it and then see the diffrence.
This thing give a general boost to the performance of phone

Why this update can't find in development area?
This is the most smoothest ICS rom i had ever seen.(My CSL Mi410 unable to boot up with the iceColdSandwich 8.x)
But the Pimp my rom 2.1.1 wasn't compatible with it . The tweak make the rom freeze on the bootup screen .

It is compatible with Pimp my rom. May be you have used some tweaks which breaked something and it become unable to boot it.
As far as development area may be moderator can move it to development area if they find suitable

I think it has to be in dev area...

Thank God I wish to visit General section or I won't be able to see this...

so far the best ics rom after some trial to run v6 supercharge and pimp my rom.
Now using clean rc2 without supercharge , and the phone smooth as well.

Did you faced problems related to Superuser fc'ing everytime the rom starts. Sort of like su is not compatible or something.

AFAIK none of the custom ROMs for our device take straight photos in front cam. it'll show inverted but when u view it'll be proper.

thats my question i want to know which ROM still in dev cuz i tried to find a nice JB rom for the Optimus black and i found too many but... all of them have the camera bug :c

Try mackay, nice JB custom rom. But video bug is still der.kinda laggy recording videos though
