I know that this App is develped for the [P][ICS] SD Mounter as Mass Storage V2.0 {Dt: 01/July} by DooMLorD - / - Soheil_rf .
I would be nice if this could be made for the Xperia T for Linux users.
I also have a Xperia P and this App works great.
I asked DooMLorD - / - Soheil_rf for a custom version of the App for the Xperia T.
Looks like this App we need on the Xperia T with ICS.
Any one else here who can make this work?
Would be great.

Hey guys,
I want to restore some lost files of my xperia z with easeus data recovery, however it doesnt detect the phone because its listed as xperia Z in explorer and when u open it u see 2 disks, internal storage and SD storage. But because its packed inside the head xperia z it cant be detected by the third party software.. any idea how to just show internal storage and SD as stand alone disks?

You can root the phone if you haven't done so already and use the app undelete to recover lost files.
Or you can mount the phone in mass storage mode from the settings in xperia then usb connectivity.
Press thanks if I have helped

Mounting in mass storage only displays my SD card, which i dont want to recover files from.
I really need the internal storage to be shown without it being wrapped up in the header 'Xperia Z' so it can be detected by the recovery 3rd party software i have on my PC. My phone is already rooted by the way.. and the app undelete only supports external SD cards.. which is exactly what i dont need ..
Use another file recovery program, some support right clicking in a folder to recover files. For example back2life by grandutils
Press thanks if I helped

not true .. installed it, it also works by disk detection, did not detect phone..
If you want to mount a certain part as a disk try android commander.
Press thanks if I have helped you

It may be difficult since I doubt MTP will allow recovery tools to function properly, plus, the device doesn't let you mount internal storage in mass storage for obvious reasons.

Hello everyone, this is my first post here.
I signed up because i wanted to share how i solved the MAC address question. Simply, after flashing a custom rom, the phone gets the developers MAC. How to solve this?
First of all, you'll need an Hex editor. Install it and give it root access.
Before disabling wifi, take note of you new mac address.
There are 4 files in /data/etc called wlan_maccaddr0, wlan_maccaddr1, wlan_maccaddr2, wlan_maccaddr3. Take note of these addresses.
Then open /etc/firmware/wlan/prima/WCNSS_1com_wlan_nv.bin with your hex editor. (Backup before editing!)
You will probably have something like that.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
You will see the new mac address repeated four times. you must substitute each address with the one you read in step 3.
Note that they differ only for the last character. (remember: two numbers is a character)
End up with something like that.
That should do the trick. Reboot and rejoice
Please don't be harsh to me, it's only my way to introduce myself
Happy hacking

Already tried that, it didn't work, at least for me! I'm currently using a Sony Xperia T with cyanogenmod 10.1
Yes you're right that fix only seems to work on stock based ROMs. I'm running omni now and didn't realise it before but facing the same issue. Not a real problem for me personally but thanks for this fix.

Works fine with CM 10.1 on Xperia V. Thanks a lot!
It doesnt work in V (flashed FXP250).
Once saved the file and re-opened it or reboot , all changes lost...

I am not sure why I failed...
but now I use ES File explorer with root, locate that .bin file, open it using HEX editor, save. And succeed....
But I now use CM10.2 rather than FXP250
The folder /data/etc doesn't exists on my Xperia V...
I have the KitKat 4.4.4 OmniRom installed.
What can i do?
Have you tried USB OTG on your Z3+ or Z4 and nothing is happening? If you are wondering if your Xperia Z3+ or Z4 supports USB OTG it does but it is disabled by default. Here's how to enable it:

how about ehternet adapter on the z3+? is it working with lollipop?
I'm not entirely sure that OTG is even enabled on the device kernel. I've tried several OTG devices and adapters, all of which work fine on my other android devices. But the Z3+ refuses to detect any of them. With my OTG flash drive, when I plug it in to other devices the led on the drive flashes for a second and then pulsates one the mobile devices has detected it and used the usb icon in notification. That same drive doesn't even flash when I connect it to my Z3+ so it's clear no power is being transferred at all.
hey if you have problem with(no usb detected) and there no problem with you phone. try use otg adapter without any cable. i have same problem before. my otg with cable working fine with my tablet but in sony somehow it very hard to detect it and if i move it will disconnected. lucky my new otg that dont have any cable working fine. it detect all usb device.(note:sony only accept it as usb if there any chip in device soo dont try to use otg as power source for lamp/fan/etc. it wont work)
