Now I did make a zip file from uot kitchen and i did make a backup and we'll see

You need to be rooted in order to install the zip file.

Mulit ROM Boot

It's a beta version...
Simplely unpack my rar file then put the folder named "ARMlinux" on ur SD Card...
then put my script file named "OS" on /system/app...
Run into Terminal,type "OS {ROMName}" to 'boot'(It is not really boot)...
Wait, and u will boot into another ROM!...
If you like my work ,thanks me!~~~

1.Default language is Chinese, plz change it by yourself...
2.Ur phone's ROM must be CM7!!!...

I don't konw whether it would work on Galaxy Fit,but you can try it.It won't break your phone.

what exactly should be typed?

Example:

Wanted to try this out.. But DL speed is too slow and gets aborted. can you upload on other file sharing sites? MF maybe?

My country's network is awful....
I can't upload this file to other site such as mediafire.com
So you hacv to try as much as possible.....

is really dual boot ?

You can see my script "OS" use text editor...
I just moumt Ext.img to /root,then mount other folder om /data and /system, and hot reboot.....
So it depend on CM7 kernel....
See the file yourself, then you can make yourself......

Use dsixda kitchen. Xultimate sucks at deodexing.

I used deodex file, and the script-updater is inside it !

Ur .zip file must contain META-INF folder with updater-script inside. Deodexed system/app & /framework folders & xbin folder with su & busybox files. U wil even need to add superuser .apk in /app if u wnt su.

U wil find boot.img in kernel. Extract it. Even bmlunlock file .

I've fineshed deodex apps and frameworks, then is it possible to replace manually?
because I replaced TW by deodex one and it's work ^_^

If u try to manually replace system files like systemui, ur fone wil go in endless bootloops. Its safer to flash making a flashable .zip
If ur having trouble making a .zip file den i can help u.

Lol.... No. I need the build.prop file which is there in system folder. Use root explorer to copy it on sd card.

Download Deodex Files.rar from attachment. Extract it. Make a folder named system. Add ur deodexed /app & /framework folder inside. Copy xbin folder & build.prop file from d extracted file & paste in system(Pic 2). Copy meta-inf folder outside system.(Pic no 1)
Use winrar to .zip it & flash.

How do I flash a rom in a .rar file

Yes Iv'e used the search button but I still can't find an exact answer.
I would like to flash another rom > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1700749 but it's contained in a .rar file and not a .zip file.
How the hell can I use this file and flash it??
Ant help is appreciated.

You sure that the ROM is in a .rar file? Maybe you have the wrong file, because I think this link for the ROM and it isn't compressed in a .rar file, it's on a normal .zip.

The link you post is for another version of the rom.

Ohh man,
Download that and
Extract that .rar file to your computer,you will get 3-4 files in that. Some are for ics layouts and 1 is for file manager.apk.
copy the apocalypse 09072012.zip into your sd card and flash via cwm...

Can anybody tell me how to how to SIGN a ROM..??
I'hv developed a rom and sign it via zipsigner and flashed it via CWM but its not installing..can anybody tell what hppnd to it..??

Hopefully you have modded a Rom by simply extracting it. If yes there is no need to sign it

I hv tried to flash the rom with and without signing.. both are not working..

you must have did something wrong in the updater-script
what error you get while flashing rom

IT ONLY GIVES INSTALATION ABORTED ALL THE TIME...

First try mounting system manually. That might be the problem

that's not because of unmounted /system
as if system is not mounted it will just do the progress nothing would be copied but it will not show installation aborted
@op paste you updater-script here for further troubleshooting
