But MKV on Gingerbread was really smooth.. Why does it not work on ICS the same way?
Android 4.0.1 had divx, but then Google removed it in 4.0.2 for the galaxy nexus
I think this is also applicable for the nexus s

You're right I guess it does..
I remember on AOSP 4.0.1 it worked flawless but now it's choppy like that.. Hopefully the new OTA that will fix battery life will also bring back DIVX support..
Thank you!
Going to test!

are you sure the xloud engine mod is safe?
many other devices got their speaker broke because of this...
does this work? i mean on cm 20 built?
I used to have an xperia device with xloud... and unless you're in a situation in which you really require louder speaker volumes, I'd recommend turning off xloud by default, because it can potentiall wear down your speaker much faster than normal use.
ok guyz , i will make a zip file without the xloud engine

Hey there, if you just want iPhone looks then I'd suggest that you try iLauncher or Espier Launcher from Play store.
If you're looking for an iPhone ROM then Love cry A5 is your best bet.
After first install, go to settings > Aa (Language option)> Select English. And Ta-da .... you are good to go.
Any other query feel free to ask.

Do any of the recently released Jellybean roms in the Development Section have the CRT animation?
Specifically the recent PACman rom by blindndumb. The video that is linked within the thread uses a Desire S (or HD?) and it can be seen using the CRT animation, so I was wondering if it works on our INC S's as well.

Yeah, i really want PACman with the crt animation, and also the feature where you draw gestures on the lockscreen to launch apps like in CM 7.2
No CRT, but Google have 'gesture search' in the play store.

There's a thread in the development section on how to get on screen buttons. You can check it out. It has something to do with modifying the framework Apk. Also, for Google now, settings-> lock screen - > slider shortcuts and choose Google under applications.

I've been using this ROM for a few days now. Some feedback:
Pros:
Faster boot times than plain CM10
Interface seems smoother
I really love the DPI/scale! Applications look and feel so much nicer on the device's small screen.
ROM is minimal, no unwanted software. Just the basics.
Cons:
Audio playback stuttering is severe regardless of player, kernel or CPU tweaks. (Music lovers be warned)
USB Tethering is not working. (Looks like entire USB module/driver crashes when enabling)

Nice ROM indeed. Thank you for the port Mark.
Hey, just one thing, you think you can remove the torch app since it's of no use with our device? And also, I've had some problems installing a few apps due to the DPI I think.
Other than that it's very smooth and slick. Great job!
EDIT: Well, it certainly doesn't appear to be a DPI-related issue, I've been messing with build.prop but I can't get Tasker to install via Play Store... it is important for me because I use it to optimize battery and data usage...

Hey thanks for the tip bro! Did you flash on top of the rom or you had to re-flash the rom and then flash gapps?

Ok so I flashed gapps from Tantrum's pack, didn't work. Then I flashed gapps from Goo.im and still nothing. Strangely, I restored a nandroid I made before flashing Pure Performances and that changed things a bit. Still not working for me though... Play Store now lets me choose install but I get 'Shared lib missing' and the installation fails. I only have 3 apps with this problem: Tasker, Google+ and QR Droid...
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app
OK, if somebody flashes this ROM and gets the 'Missing shared library' error message when installing apps from Play Store, this is the fix:
NOTE: In order for this fix to work, you must have Google Maps and Google Search apps installed
1) Download 4.1.2 GAPPS from goo.im to your SD card, (actually a GAPPS from other ROM for Desire C will do, but I just prefer the "official" stuff. )
2) Using a file explorer with root privileges, unzip the gapps zip (I use ES File Explorer)
3) Inside the ZIP go to system/etc/permissions
4) Extract the file named com.google.android.maps.xml to your SD root directory
5) Exit and go back to your SD root directory
6) Look for a folder named system, open it, you'll find the file you just extracted
7) Copy and paste the file to your system directory /device/system/etc/permissions
8) Assign R/W permissions as follows:
Owner R W -
Group R - -
Other R - -
9) Clear Google Play cache
10) Reboot your phone
11) WIN!!!
You can safely delete the extracted directory in your SD root directory.
