I have had good experiences with expansys.com.au, and they appear to have the same source as .co.uk. Having said that, my Note came from HK. Maybe the UK ones do too?
I bought mine from Expansys.se. Ordered it at 15:00 last Monday, got it 11 the day after and they sent it from France!!! Not even Swedish companies usually delivers that fast inside Sweden so I am impressed Cant talk about support because never have been froced to use it
The EU Note I got was delivered with a productcode from Austria.

Amazon are ReAlly helpful, but wondering whether there is screen issue with their current 16gb stock, as I've had to return 3. I may be wrong and just very unlucky though...

I have even worse screen on my 32 GB then I had on mine 16 GB. But I will learn to live with it

It is not that big deal when using it you wont notice it. Just when displaying completely grey screen as seen in Market sometimes. But I dont use my phone to look for errors When using it for daily things I am not bothered at all. There is no "perfect" phone - always some compromise

I have no problems with the few videos I have been watching, have tried the Rusty Nails video and hardly notice it

Videos are not a problem for me either. iron man 2 video clip is fine. Had 3 16gig phones on which clipping made it totally unwatchable. There are lots of unacceptable batches,out their still. If I were U, I'd maybe wait a couple months b4 buying ...to see whether Samsung do something 'radical' and address the issue. My rationale for buying the 32GB, was that it was released later, came from different batch and therefore maybe might have less issues. I struck lucky.

It's not hard at all, if you are in Europe. In addition to the aforementioned Expansys, ditech.at has been selling them for quite a while and there doesn't seem to be any shortage of stock, and at a better price BTW...

It is hard in US, but then again, they are just releasing the Note in a few days here, after it's been available for months essentially all over the world

Hi, have you managed, or at least tried, to root it?
I would like to understand if the rooting methods which work for the 16GB version also work for the 32GB one.
Also, could you please elaborate a bit more on the screen issue you mentioned in your other post? Is it a problem with the Note per se or just a faulty batch?

I have 32GB white it has 2600 mAh while i think 16GB has 2500 mAh
I think its better because you can put a lot of apps and heavy games GPS offline maps plus you can add 64GB micro SD = 96GB - 6GB system =90GB.
Myself i waited so long till it arrived to my country which is worth the waiting to be honest i hate 16GB internal storage i don't know why Samsung didn't just make all SGN 32GB.

Well I was stupid and pre-ordered from Wal-Mart.com. My order status stated it would arrive today but that it hadn't shipped yet. I called their customer service and they said they had to cancel my order because my item has been discontinued from the distributor. Called gamestop and they said that not only are they out but they were told today they weren't getting anymore...anyone else heard this?

I heard Asus is refusing to make anymore until those that have suggested it would have been better to have Samsung or Motorola make them instead, apologize..
In other news, it could be a national holiday in China, like it was during the long wait for the Notion Ink Adam, where employees agreed to continue working during New Years celebrations instead of going on their yearly vacation to see their families. Perhaps this time they see no benefit and refuse to skip theirs..
Second wave 8/30 or still waiting on the SD (street date) of 8/05?
NOTE: I called my Gamestop, they didn't have any, she offered to look in the computer to see which stores nearby had them in stock. Went to one and exchanged mine on the spot.
My Gamestop called me today to tell me my replacement came in.
I also ordered from Wallmart and checked on my order yesterday they said that it was ready to ship today. Than today I get a email and was told that they could not ship it yet. This was after they told me that they had them!

Well I don't need to apologise as I said in the other thread stores could have had a faulty early batch but didn't say I agree with changing manufacturers

Yeah, I think at the price point more people went straight for the 16GB. I know I did, I didn't even consider the 8GB.
Honestly though with either model and an OTG cable and a little root work, storage isn't really a limiting factor at all. People who really want an N7 and can find a 8GB now should scoop one up.

It's not discontinued as mentioned, probably just temporarily out of stock. In Sweden we seem to only get the 16GB version sometime during September. I would have been fine with the 8GB but it doesn't really matter to me either in price or storage.
They might have stopped to address the screen and creaking issues. That's just a guess though.

I stopped by a GS the other day to see if they had any accessories for the n7, they didn't, but when i Asked them if they had any n7's the employee told me you had to have preordered one to get one and they wouldn't be getting more.
Doesn't mean Google isn't making more' just means GameStop won't be selling them.

Even if they halted distribution, there's no way it's being discontinued. I really doubt that any Walmart rep has his or her finger on the pulse, and the Gamestop guy only said that they were expecting shipments but now they're not.
It is possible that Google wants to put a hold on things until they reign in the build quality.

This, I got my n7 16 the day it came out and I absolutely love it. Now a few months later I can get one for the same low price with twice the space? I'll be buying it the day it's out.
Fact is if you want to be up to date, you'll be buying a new device every 6 months, it's just how it is, but hey, who doesn't have a hobby they like to throw money at?

I got my Nexus 7 yesterday from newwegg and I didn't get the 25$ credit. I don't know if it may be related to my location - I live in Europe but I am visiting US now. Even if I try to access redeem codes from google wallet, I get the message "Gift Cards are not available in your location.". Anyone knows how to tell google that my location is now USA?

Just seems rediculous for anyone to believe that 8GB more storage would cost $50 ... and with the cost of memory per GB nowadays it would be a no brainer to up it to 64GB and 96GB just to stomp out the competition...
I guess Google was thinking this would be a more wireless cloud based device but consumers are showing that we don't wanna go that way ... would make sense to meet the demand and just flip everybody out with memory numbers that are huge.... cheap way to set this tablet apart from the rest (besides the other things it's already got going)
Got my 16gb n7 a few weeks ago for £180 UK pounds + £15 store credit + Transformers movie. Otg cable gives me unlimited storage if I need it.
I don't think I would be able to get the 32gb model for this price when it comes out, so I am not worried.

Actually, I remember reading an article about this pricing that said the 8gb didn't provide any real room for profit and the 16gb version is more so that resellers could actually make money on the device.
At first this seemed true as I couldn't find a reseller that even sold the 8gb, but now most seem to, so perhaps the build cost went down.
As for a 32gb coming out for the same price as the 16gb now...I doubt it. This thing hasn't even been out for a year. As for the 8gb going to $99...no way. Not unless Google is doing a fire sale and dumping Android like HP with WebOS.
More realistic would be something like $279/229/179 pricing for 32/16/8gb versions...

When she purchased? I ask because I read some comments right here on XDA that Google is taking beyond what they are telling us emails sent to buyers and new buyers will have to wait between four to five weeks to get their hands on the device.
My wife have one Nexus S and i sold my Galaxy Nexus to buy a Nexus 4. I will get it from Germany but only in january.

She bought just when it has launched, November 13, and after 3 days Google sent an email with a backorder information ("your order is in backorder and it will be shipped in 3 weeks") ...
Now they told it will be shipped on next week (i believe on monday) lets wait now..

What kind of instability you say?
I see a LOT of threads(xda, code forum, google groups etc) about wifi problems!
I have no wifi issue, but a 3g bug. When I turns on data connection, the 3g wont connect, and the bars still gray. But after, reboot phone, or do the airplane trick(or another tricks) the data connection turns on. It's very annoying to do always the same 'tricks' to get a data connection. I already tried everything(apn, factory reset, pray.....)..... just waiting a google update to fix this(and other) bugs....:crying:

yes, I am sure it won't go as high as G2, since the G2 price is on 6.5M I am sure the N5 will be in 5-6M range if not the same price as N4 when first released here back in january.
Not sure which version will be released here tho, but let's hope it will be the 32GB version.

well let's hope it stays that way to get buyers attention.. a phone with Snapdragon 800 for under $600 is considered a steal even in indonesian standard..
heck, even my LG G2 (which is basically a N5 with a bigger battery, an IR Port, and 13 megapixel camera) is about $100 cheaper than the Z1.. and a whole $200 cheaper than the Note 3..
The "luxury item tax" sucks in this country. (pajak barang mewah in Indonesian)
If LG decides to bring it here, I think it'll be priced at IDR 5,499,000 and IDR 5,999,000 for the 16GB / 32GB variant respectively. Not sure when, but since there's this Indocomtech event going on right now and they are advertising the G2 a lot, I think we'll have to wait until the craze about G2 dies down before they bring it to Indonesia. I mean why would they bring a cheaper phone when they have G2 right?
I have a credit card but I'm not sure how I feel about ordering online via Play Store / Amazon / eBay. If there's a holdup at the airport that would suck. I may even have to end up paying more money just to get that phone "released" from the custody of stupidly retarded corrupted people.
I have a few friends in the US that travels back and forth though, so I'm actually thinking of asking them to get one for me.
Anyone knows if the it can be used in Indonesia though? I'm kind of afraid there's a difference in network bands.
Anyway, with all that said, maybe we can all try to rush LG by perhaps, mentioning the existance of Nexus 5 via Twitter (@lgmobileid) or their Facebook fan page
Perhaps if they see there are dozens of people wanting this phone badly they'll speed up the release.

No it's not luxury item tax, it still under consideration by government, not yet become a policy. and the pricing in non-play store country is almost the same because it sells by LG and warranty is goes to LG not Google.
I am not sure but G2 has better camera and more mainstream device here, who cares about Nexus here lol
I am not yet seeing any person using N4 here btw in Jogja.
I am pretty sure it is usable here, it's all the same except the cdma variant and LTE bands which is still not available yet here.
It's like nexus 4 case, a lot of people including me force them to release it quickly or at least give us the date but they still quiet until it's released back in January, I guess it will be the same in this case.
so we still has 2 months left to wonder about the price and release date, and there is still hope for dollar to get weak, and back to 10k.

I mean I saw a lenovo k900 advertisement on kompas today priced at 4m, NOT FAR from ebay or another online price I saw from googling, thus if lenovo phone price can be reasonably on par with international 'standard', why can't nexus 5???

I got friend that can buy me the phone and when she comes back, I can have my N5. But can it really work with our carriers?

but not too long after initial release, about 3-4months i guess they cut the price to 4.999.000.
just wait couple months if you want more affordable price

sigh, unfortunately I can't wait, my current phone is dying, actually originally I've been waiting for these new high end phablets especially the htc one max but htc dropped their balls really really harf with such underwhelming specs, not to mention htc phones are as expensive as samsung here I think, one of the reason I was hoping for htc because of their sense, been a long time admirer of it since touchflo days with winmo but surprisingly never owned an htc device lol... just when I finally about to get one they came up with rubbish phone lol.
don't like the bloatware infested samsung phones as well as their annualy rising apple like insanely high prices
lg g2 is quite nice but I don't like their ui too, as well as their less than average software updates support
then there is sony phones, for some time I liked sony ericsson very much on the days of P800-900 as well as the very first xperia phone but their current fetish with water proof phones just put me off, report says they have terrible sounds as well as underwhelming display, I don't like the ui either lol
so in a way, nexus 5 is my last hope for a 2013 flagship phone, either this or I'll wait to see the next htc flagship which is probably still 6+ months away unfortunately
overall it's sucks to be in this position lol

it is normal for modern smartphone, only the downside for me is development, development on N4 is almost reach its max, and everything will be steady, no more surprise whatsoever.
I tried my friend's S4, it's hot when playing game, not N4 hot but it is plastic while n4 is glass.
try to undervolt the cpu it will be much cooler, never had any heat issue unless the phone is constantly searching for signal cause i am in poor coverage area which is pretty normal on any phone.
