FTP site

Hi all i have decided to setup a ftp site to host all the tools and roms i can find for the optimus so that people can find the stuff all in one place once i have have all the files uploaded i'll ask a moderator to rename this thread and add a menu type thing in the 1st and second posts. If this is a bad idea please let me no
also when im uploading files i will credit the users work and contain there work in a separate folder in order not to mix files up it will also give direct linking so we dont have to wait on file sharing site giving use a slot in there downloads system
so the download links will look like this:

Appriciated good start

In my signature is a link to my Dropbox, with all tools & drivers that are needed for installing OpenSwift, and the latest OpenSwift4.4 and latest Kernel #412 are also there. I'll also upload the 2.3 firmware once it becomes available
If any developer wants me to put the files down, I'll do that, but I don't think anyone should have a problem with it.

Hmmm, is no one working on this? There are no hacks, roms or other on the site.

im downloading a load of roms in the house so i can upload them all in one go its going to take some time due to the amount of stuff there is for the gt540 sorry for the wait

Hi guys, can someone give me the link for the ICS Samsung leak thats all over youtube?? Im trying to find it cant find anything... unless im going blind... need to make a ROM, getting withdrawals

Hmmmm
I can tell u a technique to view blocked websites in ur country.
First of all to use this technique u need to have google chrome in ur pc.
Now download the attachment , extract it and run the application.
Now click on options->Proxy settings.
And click on auto detect proxy settings.(as shown in the image)
Click ok and close the program.
Now reopen it and wait for it to connect to the server.
Once connected then u are good to go.
DONT USE THIS WITH ANY OTHER BROWSER!!!!!

on that website your ip is not going to be shown in next searching's
now just go to xda,minicm post and find download link,now start download
tell me if it worked,good luck

There is a link in the video description to download the updated Gooapple rom, i think it can be used to port it to the Galaxy Ace. Or use this with almost all stock bugs fixed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1729056

Damn. It's armv7....
would have been a way lot easier if it was armv6.

I got a gooapple 3g's rom and Im working on porting it.....
Its almost the same specs.
I dont know how much time it will take. :fingers-crossed:

Got the rom from a chinese site.
But I dont know whether the rom is froyo or gingerbread.
If its gingerbread, it will work.
I will try to do it this weekend if possible.

I know that....
But I did not unpack system.img yet. I think I have to do it in Android kitchen when I get some free time. My mom aimt letting me touch my pc due to exams. Maybe I'll try it during this weekend.
But if the rom is froyo, it would suck.
So I have to just use froyo drivers or abandon it.

Not based on CM....But it is the best iPhone themed Android rom currently available!!

It seems that my system.img file is corrupted.
I have to redownload the rom from that slow chinese server again......:banghead:
Lets see if Im able to unpack system.img successfully otherwise I have to search for a new rom package....
Anyone who can try to find the link for a gingerbread rom package of Gooapple 3G will be greatly appreciated. :thumbup:

I was even developin for sIII and i got a system.img...
Power iso or magic iso wont work...its another method that worked for me
Ill get back to this thread in some hours..and ill give you instructions on how to do it...

Edit: I extracted system.img successfully with Unyaffs!
But I just got to know by seeing build.prop that Android version is 2.2.3(froyo)
I have to look for a Gingerbread rom for porting now....
I heard somewhere that Gooapple 3G can be upgraded to gingerbread....But all the dl links for the gingerbread rom are dead...
Let me search for sometime and then I'll inform....:-/

I waz gonna recommend unyaffs.
Or else there's another way. Coz sometimes unyaffs doesn't work.
Anyways you've got it so it's ok.
It's Froyo? ahh that sucks.

I emailed a user who has the phone asking for a system dump.
BTW I tried out the apps of Gooapple. They have included two launchers, one the iPhone style and the other the stock android launcher.
The stock android launcher works perfectly in CM7 but all the Gooapple apps get launched for one second and then close without any warning. I think they require a framework or some libs.
I need some help on this....

Yup. Should be libs.
Try getting the logcat..
for that just check up some guides, and you'll need to download Android-SDK. Even download Dsixda kitchen and apkmanager..they might be helpful later.
Do you have unlimited internet or a data plan?
Or else, you can upload the files to MediaFire. And i'll download and do some tests, and even try to help you port.

Maclaw himself has quoted that there shouldn't be any mirrors to his ROM. Someone posting it without his consent would be just unfair and against the rules.

I don't have a fast network here. I'm on 2G edge on phone. But be sure that whoever uploads the file has maclaw's permission. Sorry for not being helpful.

Maclaw doesn't allow mirrors and maclaw.pl downloads are working with full speed for me

It won't matter even if you give a million thanks as long as one doesn't get his permission to upload. If despite of his unwillingness to permit if someone mirrors it here, they'll be sued by xda as per the rules.
