Just a tip: you need to throw in some more stuff in order to grab users' attention. And this isn't an easy thing to do in a nexus device as there are many ROMs with great quality and many features (which is the thing that attracts most users, unfortunately).

Just installed and like it as far as vanilla goes only nag im seeing is gapps aren't showing up in market except currents.
I've fix permissions and cleared market cache/data and still not showing google+ maps etc in my apps. unless this is meant to be like this (on play store can see in draw fine)

Exactly this...but there is another thing too...It hasn't got to be full of features in order to be a good ROM, but it has to be fast and smooth. Right now there are many fast roms but they are not smooth enough, or they are smooth and not fast...

I've modified conf for europe. Now the gps is more fast in europe..in the new vrrsion i will add conf for other countries

Extract it from roms zip. Its in system/etc, file named gps.config

ok i used the rom for about a week now and this is what i see so far:
it's fast and smooth and you can play games on it (if that's your thing) with little to no lag.
no hanging on the home screen (i really like stock home better but nova is the next best thing)
to clean some notification settings, quad menu would do fine and still keep it nice and cleen
some times when someone calls the screen stays off and locked (you have to pres the power button and unlock to see the call screen or chose it from notifications witch annoy's the s**t out of me)
other from that every thing works fine and has good battery life to
i get 16 to 18h with wi-fi and 3g always on 30-50 min of phone calls, some gaming and non-stop messiging
cant wait for next release

Yes, exactly... Fop rom as base more my modificantions.
NOTE:
On alpha 2, sound is fixed, alpha 2 have good sound You can donwload it from third post.

What do you think about rom ?
Very very nice ROM... it is buttery smooth... everything is functional well but just the camera =( Overal it is a nearly complete Pure ICS for our OB somehow ... Please keep up the good work for our beloved OB :good::good::good:
For some reason my phone's becoming very hot, especially while charging. Is this ok? I didn't expirience this problem while I was on CM7. (Also I already reduced screen brightness to minimum (on CM7 phone would be very hot, if screen bightness set on max)).

Yeah, I think it is. When I unpluged it it became cold. So it's

Thanks for your effort, it is prretty good I prefer use yours instead FOP. Another opinion from me is put Nova launcher, idk if ppl can support my comment, and one more time thanks for your good work.

Finally X Power is here, the ROM is all about battery and smoothness, not hottest mods, beta releases etc.
This ROM is stock like, no theaming. just small mods. I'll always try to get out the best battery life with phone running smooth as silk.
I'll will not be first to release new roms as battery optimize & smoothness takes a bit of time.

So far I've done two clean flashes, and flashed gapps afterwards. Yet still no option to set up exchange activesync account on my phone. Any ideas?

The best JB ROM I've used so far. I think using Zeam makes a huge difference to the Nexus S !! Thanks for the great work.

No ActiveSync option is strange. I didnt do anything special but the usual and everything is functional for me including exchange activesync.
1. Wipe Data (I was coming from a different ROM)
2. Wipe cache
3. Wipe /system
4. Wipe /Boot.
5. Install Green Bean followed by gapps.

Dont keep reflashing. that was my fault. i'll fix right now. please redownload after i update.
I don't understand two things :
1. Thalamus kernel is the best kernel for this rom ? If yes , it is included in this rom or i have to install after GREENBEAN1.1NS.zip?
2. I have to install gapps or GreenBean1.1NS.zip includes magazines,books,audio,video.apk ?

Sorry, I should've made it more clear.
This rom comes with stock kernel. I am running some others to see what will work best for next update and so far _thalamus seems smoothest.
I only added PlayStore and Gmail into rom, If you want the other GAPPS download the GAPPS.zip

INTRODUCTION
Hey there!!Here I com with a new rom. In my opinion I got the key!! People spend their lifes arguing about what is better: GB..ICS..JB... Okay, Gb is quite smooth and stable. With ICS people has rised battery horizons, Jelly Bean, appart from Project Butter is famous for his clean, minimalist and smart interface. AOKP, CM... and other ROMS are known for their high customization, so... what to choose?
After thinking in a lot of things I have created a ROM where u cand find all that features. It is CM7.2 based, so it is gingerbread ande is highly customizable. It has a smoothness I had never seen in any GB/ICS ROM. Battery drain is quite quite good. I have stabilized it because people normally left this ROM because of the consumption. I have added ICS/JB appearance, since it is amazing. I have been thinking every aspect of the ROM: tweaks, apps, compatibility problems... and the result is amazing...

HOW TO INSTALL
1. Download ROM, extract boot.img and delete it (inside rom one...obviously lol)
2. Introduce it into the SDCard
3. Flash boot.img. Reboot
4. Go to recovery in first boot: wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, install zip from sdcard -> Select ROM
5. Reboot and enjoy

Camera bug - yah, camera is not working perfectly. There are some very good apps to make it work. Since I make pics with Cymera, I don't mind about it... but yes, it is a cm7 bug and Is not perfect.
brigtness - Brightness what? My brighness works fine...

This is what I've been looking for a long time, a LITTLE and BAREBONED rom, I use stock rom tweaked and extreme bareboned and is really fast, eat only ~60-70MB Ram (really helpful for emulators and games) but I use Rafael.Baugis kernel wich is the most stable Kernel I already tested... anyway, I'll try it for sure, thanks for share :highfive:

More tweaks like what? be careful with this because lately the rom makers oversaturate their roms with optional apps and heavy themes/fashion features wich honestly I think only care to kids... putting very poor attention to make lighter and uncongested roms, wich is how a default custom rom should be, only with the basic apps to let the user choose their own pdf-reader or video-player for example.
And also the free Ram is something what the rom makers have forgotten lately, they only care for eyecandy (and heavy) themes and launchers with huge amount of battery drain and Ram consumption instead of little/faster/uncongested roms.
this is what our Ace-i needs. a stable, fast, bareboned rom. downloading and testing

I don't see any problem so don't take it wrong mate, I asked you to be more specific because is a fact that mostly of the roms today are focused on the appearance, over-saturating the phone with themes/launchers/useless apps instead of focusing on make roms lighters and bareboned.
custom rom doesn't mean themed, this can be optimized and bareboned to have 60-70MB Ram free like I get

I've only experienced a problem : root doesn't work (su is missing?). For ex, trying to start a app with root privilèges fails. Any idea ?
