Root,kernel and roms(new to samsung note)

Hi,
EVERYBODY HERE, I BOUGHT A NEW SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE,BEFORE I WAS USING IPHONE,
I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROOT KERNEL AND ROMS.
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME ABOUT.

There is no point discouraging some one who is new! You were not an expert when you joined. yes he did a mistake by posting in the dev section but that doesnt give you the right to have a go at him.. xda is all about sharing each others knowledge.

[REQUEST] [SUPPORT ME] --> Seperate Forum for i9100G

Request to Moderators
People who have been with me since the birth of i9100G subforum , with understand this request
Lately there has been lots of development going on in the i1900G subforum .
Its is becoming very difficult to spot out the ROMS and the Off-topics ins the same single page .
So i have requested the Moderators of XDA , to create a i1900G sepate Forum .
Here is the message that i have send them :
"At first i1900G (a variant of the SGS2 ), was a small community and it had no development .
once ICS was released from samsung and codeworkx gave us CM9 .
there has been lots of development going on , with CM9 as Base.
clearly it has become very crowded amd unclear with n00bs creating new tread for petty issues .
if you a new forum for the i9100G , all unnoticed ROM , which have been pushed away to the second page will get more attention .
So please create a i1900G forum for us , instead of a single subforum .
Help the troubled i9100G users.

I'm posting this in both the Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Duos Section
People have been posting in development sections that is not development for several different reasons, some because they consider it a development question or the post is a Galaxy Y Duos question and they don't see a Galaxy Y Duos section. These should still go in the Question and Answers forum. Only development can go in the development section. This includes ROMs, MODs, etc. Coming soon threads or guides for develop still go in General as well. Hope this gets rid of some confusion.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Thanks for this.. hopefully people will read this thread before creating a thread for question in this section..
but one suggestion sir.. if the thread is about some help for developing with missing files required for some thing to work or necessary steps to do for some developing.. or a guide for development.. such threads if kept in general section.. currently there are 1,692 threads in general section.. it will be very hard to notice such a thread exists there..
also one more suggestion sir.. can you add pro and pro duos names in your first post of this thread.. because even though this is y duos section.. it will be easy if pro and pro duos are integrated here.. as there is not many threads compared to other section.. it will become easy for everyone.. anyway.. thanks for this again !

SGY Q&A section is for all Sgy variant phones
That is galaxy y duos 6102, y pro duos 5512, and galaxy y pro.
So, you should ask questions in that section itself.. only development is seperated.
If you search with word "duos" in Q&A section of Sgy.. you will find examples that it is allowed there..
