Can someome please help me?
I have my dad's phone, I clearly installed a rom wrong or messed around with something that I shouldn't have. When I tried to factory reset everything, including cwm, I used recovery manager but I was only able to get back to the stock recovery. Now i'm stuck in a boot loop, with android debugging disabled. And I have tried factory resetting it with no luck
Use this guide.

Hey guys i need some serious help
Im coming from cm5.0.8.1,froyo radio, pershoots kernel. I tried to go to jand-o-rama. final 9.
So i did a nandroid back + clockworkmod backup. Now i wiped evrything,dalvik-cache, cache, restore/factory settings and battery. When i was flashing kand-o-rama everything went well except the last part were i think it was flashing the kernel. It said error(couldn't remember the code). So i did another full wipe and tried to restore to my previous version but when i did its just stuck on the colored X with the unlock sign. I tried several full wipe/restore with no luck. I also tried to full wipe/restore factory settings then reboot but still wouldn't go past the bootloader.
Also tried to reinstall fastboot but still the same.
Im not good with ADB so pls if you can help me with my dilemma.
Pls pls..
Thanks!
Hello experts,
After CAREFULLY reading the instructions to root and install Cyanogen on my X2, I have run into a problem. After downloading Rom Manager from the market, I installed CWM, which worked fine.
Going by the instructions, I wanted to ensure I performed a NANDroid backup of the stock ROM, 'just in case'. So i did.
After confirming, and granting 'su' privileges, the phone restarted, only to be stuck on the LG logo.
Holding down VOL DNW + POWER is no help, as the phone was still stuck on the logo.
I don't understand what I have possibly done wrong, but none of this was stated in the wiki so I am assuming i'm in a unique situation?
After some googling:
> I have read that it may be from CMW converting to EXT4.. whereas the stock rom can only run in EXT3? .. android.modaco.com/topic/336318-4-apr-r1-backtoext3-for-converting-your-device-er-back-to-ext3/ ..
> All hope is not lost as apparently, I can flash to stock rom using NVFlash: .. android.modaco.com/topic/335474-25-mar-nvflash-stock-rom-release-v10b-dated-1300166062-15032011/ ..
Ok, so I understand I have a possible solution to my problem (NVFlash), however I would like to know why this happened & how I can avoid it from happening in the future.
Thanks for your help in advance.
sumsoomi.
Incase anyone else has the same problem,
SOLUTION:
For P990 - NVFlash instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1229407&highlight=recovery
Recovery images: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1098745&highlight=recovery
Does this mean two versions of CWM are installed?
One with Rom Manager & one with NVFlash?
If so, how to get rid of one?

NVflash is a built in safety system by nVidia, it has nothing to do with the recovery image. You should be very careful with NVflash, because it's very low level and even the slightest mistake could brick your phone.

boot problem
you can try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1617458,fl**** with cwm if you can boot in cwm recovery
I am sorry if this is asked earlier. couldnt find such a thread.
I have a samsung galaxy s i9000. i installed cm 10.0.0 stable on it yesterday upgrading from stock 2.3.5.
but because i could not connect to internet via network, i decided on restoring my backup of stock which was made in different version of cwm and while recovering it, it asked me that the "device seems to have root problems. try fixing it?" i selected yes.. after that the phone rebooted and stuck at boot screen. then i tried to go to recovery mode and their it wasnt detecting my internal sd card, boot, system etc i .e. i couldnt mount anytthing. so i tried flashing recovery again.
now finally, i am having a phone which goes only to download mode, or the bootscreen. doesnt even boot to recovery. i guess the kernel is still of cwm 10.
please tell me what should i do?
thanks.

Flash stock rom.
Okay, so I'm here with my phone and its stuck at the LG screen.
The bad thing is i rooted my phone and installed the rom manager, tried to install CWM but i canceled the installing. After that i installed the recovery app from here(for ICS, i have stock ics) rebooted, bit its stuck with LG logo. If i boot into recover it takes me to basic "android system recovery utility 3e" and i cant reach my sd card from there.
If i choose factory reset its also stuck with the logo.
Just reflash your original firmware trough kdz updater...download kdz file for your contry here http://www.smartphenom.com/2013/01/lg-firmware-update-central-beta.html and folow these steps to install them http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069723
My I9305 (cyanogenmod 11 installed) is stuck at boot animation.
It worked for 2 months and then I got no service, I rebooted and it got stuck.
I can boot to recovery and download mode, but when I try to connect usb, my computer can't find my phone.
I've tried restoring backup, factory reset and reflashing.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could fix my phone?
reflashing and then going recovery and full wipe didn't worked?
try installing stock and see if it will fly
