I was going to buy a laptop but this seems better.

For $500 I'll keep my XOOM. I don't like 8 even if it was designed more for tablets and AIO's. I'm not spending that much to lose productivity compared to my 7 laptop.
I'm waiting for the proper computer version to come out (you know with USB ports, a real processor, and all that other stuff) and an unreasonably large amount of money for no reason.
Surface seems good. But I would prefer buying a W8 laptop with bigger screen and better spec to buying Surface...

I'l go for the Surface for Win 8 Pro.
128 GB Space, 4 GB Ram, Intel i5, Full USB port, Pen Input too!
As someone that uses nothing but Linux based computing devices & computers, I have a feeling that I'm not in the market that MSFT is trying to cater to.
tl;dr = no

The official desktop dock for AT&T Galaxy Note i717 costs about $30, which is cheaper than N7000's desktop dock that costs $50. Designs are slightly different. Will it be compatible?

Should work theyre the same size last review I saw... cant turn it in landscape with the att dock something to think about if you plan to hdmi out to a monitor and desktop dock your note.

The international dock appears to give better support to the back - crucial for a big device like Note that weighs 180 g. AT&T dock looks like one of those Chinese docks that put more pressure on the USB pin. I hope it won't damage the port.
Why can't all manufacturers use contact points for charging, like Nexus One and Galaxy Nexus.
I noticed the chromebook on google play devices. I've never heard of it or have seen anyone use it.

Hi guys
Has anyone tried out one of these two game controllers?
This one is 7,5 euros with free shipping:
http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/USB-Wir...t=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item4cf8520cd7
and
This one is about 20 euros with free shipping:
http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/Univers...t=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item2c6b611360
I basically want a cheap game controller as I won't use it a lot anyways but it's a nice addition.
Thanks

Not to hijack this thread but what I am thinking about kind of is a cheap game controller.
I am talking about those small joystick thingies which you just put on the screen. Are those ok for the N7? Is the smaller screen size an issue? Is there the risk of scratches?
Example:

}
I'd think there could be a space issue. That type of controller is designed to have the suction cups adhere to the edge of the screen beyond the visible area. The button part then sits on the screen where the on screen joystick gets drawn. From the reviews I've seen of it I'd guess that a casual gamer would like it but a serious one would break it.
See this link for how it sits on the screen: http://www.accessorygeeks.com/oem-...ninja-controller-2pk-t1-fln2-301-clr-blk.html
I use this style myself and like it but I'm a horrible gamer so anything that helps is good for me.

Has anyone seen these or tried these? I know they aren't exactly the best quality, and they'll be pretty generic looking but they seem relatively decent?
What do you guys think? Worth a bite?

I saw them before, and they seem to be good.
Would like to buy one, but I cant buy anything from internet (currently).
I had a crappy one for my iPhone 4 back in the day. It wasn't very good, and some of the reviews of these say "don't charge phone inside case" - which makes it a little more impractical to me. I might get one...but I need to save for my Xperia Tablet Z first
I had one for my Z and it was amazing. I got a 4200mah one and it was decent quality but added a great bulk to the phone, but well worth it if you need the extra juice.
I got a 'powerbank' branded one, purely as in out the house 16 hours a day with no means to charge my phone.
Best thing to do is find a reasonably priced one and try it out.

Lol he barely bends it
?
Try Alpha.
Yeah sorry this is a joke of a test lol. I don't expect the note 4 to bend like the iPhone 6 plus, but if you watch the iPhone bend video you can see that his fingers go white from the amount of force he applies to bend it, this guy tho couldn't bend a straw with the amount of force he is using in this video lol
Lol bend a straw.
In considering weaning myself off smartphones but videos like this make it soo hard
Wash your hands man.
That baby booted up fast!
We need more Note 4 bend test! His thumbs doesn't really show he's putting enough (or any) bending pressure.
Don't get me wrong, I've pre-ordered my Note 4, but I just want to know its durability with the introduction of metal frames.
Dumb....

Even though he clearly didn't try.. I'm certain it can be bent with enough force.. still not as bad the iPhone 6
