Try and see by yourself.
Generally the apps that you can remove and it wont affect your system are apps like Facebook(I know gdx don't have this,I'm just giving examples),file managers, games etc.
It depends on what you mean safe,if safe is when your phone boots but it is unstable you can remove many apps, almost everything....

NO don't do a full wipe. The OP just asked how to delete his contacts.
A full wipe will delete apps, messages, settings, bookmarks etc.
Don't forget to backup your sms first cause u will lose them too...

I just flashed GingerDX v031b ROM to my X8. I installed some apps like Facebook, WeChat, GO SMS Pro, etc.
They are always running in the background. So I think there is no internal auto task manager on my phone. Where can I get one?
(Sorry for my English. I'm new.)
First root, and then use chef freezer(search on gp),and select apps u don't want to run and freeze.. do no use task killer..
Remember after u freeze facebook or else, it will disappear. U need to unfreeze it.
Use Greenify. It's the best app for hibernating background apps automatically

Yeah you rooted it
If you love the look of the stock LG rom flash Zaiben Rom, it is bloatware free and has better performance. You only need to unlock the bootloader and install CWM or TWRP, it is quite easy now

If you don't want to unlock your bootloader I remember that you should freeze MLT apk
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda premium
LG MLT apk ?
What is it and will it destroy my system if I freeze it ?

there is a list of bloatware to freeze somewhere under general subforum, few pages back. lg mlt is supposedly some kind of debugging/tracking apk, and it's useless. it's better to uninstall it completely instead of just freezing it, as it constantly logs data, slowing down the system.

You can delete bloatware using Titanium Backup.
I'm using Bloatware Freezer Free and it does the job for those I don't want to remove.

Here's a list of bloatware I froze. I partly did so just using Settings->Apps (for those apps which I could disable here), and used Titanium Backup to freeze the others.
