[Q] Removing Blackrose

Everytime i try to remove blackrose i get a message: Only blackrose can be flashed.
For warranty reasons i need to get rid of it.
I have a slcd nexus one.

How do you try to remove BlackRose?
I think you just have to flash original hboot with fastboot (use default Nexus One partition tabel too)

That is what gives me the error. I use fastboot flash hboot hboot_stock.nb0
On device sreen it says only blackrose can be flashed

Try this.
If that doesn't work try to flash the hboot.img from the file you downloaded there.

You can flash hboot.img?

Run the blackrose program and choose uninstall...

fastboot boot go2.lol
fastboot flash hboot hboot.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader

never boots into go2.lol or go33 or go35; gets stuck... is there any other way to remove blackrose? it just won't allow anything to be flashed...

Why would you remove blackrose anyway? I only did it for warranty reasons (selling an old one)

my N1 is stuck at RUU prompt - can access fastboot and recovery, cannot downgrade to gingerb or upgrade to different ICS rom...

Check your pm, send you something,

any more ideas?? I have the same problem, I cant upgrade more than 2.3.3, because I use the PASSIMG before unninstall blackrose...

I tried
Blackrose dont detect my nexus now, I dont know what (I turn on debug options)
This was the one solution I found...

might be issues wid drivers. reinstall them.
also u need to run blackrose when u r booted up normally...

Blackrose doesn't can detect my phone, only "waiting for device"...
I had installed all the drivers for N1
Edit: I fix it... Im stupid!! I turned into fastboot to use blackrose... Sorry for the mistake!! And thanx for your answers!!

a don't connect my device with my PC . i installed htc driver.

i'm stock on HBoot with no Recovery

hi everyone !
After trying to make a Data Encryption on my phone with UBK 1.1 i had to do a factory data reset...but right after the Reset i got Stock on the HTC Splash Screen ! then i go to the Hboot and no Recovery ! (The Recovery was working fine before i flash the lastest Clock Work Mod Version with Rom Manager)
So i tryied to Flash Clock Work Mod 4.0.0.2 (the version who was working correctly on my IncS) via the Hboot with the PG05IMG.zip but when my phone scan the SD Card in the bootloader nothing happen,my phone doesn't found the Zip
So right now i can't Go Into Recovery or make a Factory Data Reset (when i do that the phone get stock on the HTC Splash Screen) so anybody have a solution please ?

You have posted this in the HTC Incredible S forum? Are you sure that is the correct forum, because the PG file name for the IncS is PG32IMG.zip, not PG05IMG.zip.
Also what is this UBK 1.1 that you referenced?

UBK 1.1 it's a Sense 4a ROM

The ROM you linked to is for the Droid Inc 2, not the HTC IncS. They are different devices. So why didn't you post this on the ROM's thread or in the Droid Inc 2 forum?
Anyway, you mentioned that you tried to flash CWM using a PG05IMG.zip file but it didn't find it. The filename you need to use is PG32IMG.zip. Why don't you give that a try.

i'm in Canada and there's no Droid Incredible in my land.
plus they said that this ROM is compatible with the HTC Incredible S and it's was working really great ! but unfortunately i tryied to do an data Encryption and i'm stock on the Bootloader.
do you have a solution to get CWM from the HBoot ?
and i already tryed the PG32IMG.zip and it's still don't work

What happens when you to use PG32IMG.zip and reboot into the bootloader?
What version of HBOOT do you have? Are you S-Off with Revolutionary?

Ok then you can simply flash CWM recovery in FASTBOOT USB mode using the following command:
fastboot flash recovery [path to recovery.img]

Search, read and learn. That's how you are going to get it solved.

Well, you can just fellow the unlocking boot loader with htc dev.(the part when U flash the recovery)

Yes you would open a command window and then set your working directory to where you have installed the Android SDK tools adb.exe and fastboot.exe.

this is exactly the problem ! every damn time i open the SDK or ADB application it's just open and then close immediatly for no reason

I have a rooted Htc Incredible S rooted with revolutionary when plugged in will infinitly go to htc screen then turn off. can access bootloader. I need help "un- bricking". I've looked through forums haven't found anything that helps me I've tried several.

Are you S-ON/UNLOCKED, or S-OFF?
If S-ON, did you flash a custom ROM and now its stuck in a boot loop? If so, you need to manually flash over the boot.img file from inside the ROM .zip you flashed, by using adb/fastboot from your PC.

he's sayin it goes to the htc screen and then turns off ..bootloop wouldn't cause this

He said 'revolutionary' so I'm pretty sure he's s-off. Try to access your recovery. If you can't do it, try fastboot flashing it again.

It is S-off when i try to access recovery it just displays htc logo and turns off until power loss or going back into boot loader my friend gave me it free bricked

Try flashing a recovery from the 4ext website. Command is "fastboot flash recovery nameofrecovery.img"

I've tried from clockwork website said it worked but didnt change anything on phone

It should be PG32IMG.zip

HELP PLEASE Can't get past boot splash screen on my phone?

Hi all, I just tried to update my firmware to remove the red text on the boot screen and now I can't get any further than the boot screen.
I can still get in to the bootloader but it won't go any further than the boot splash.
Could someone help please??

Thanks. Yeah I had Viperom 2.7.
And yeah I can get in to TWRP no problems

It was this firmware: 14.06.2013 Update: added 1.54.0000 from Base 2.17 Modified - red warning removed.

Oh, you flashed only the hboot patched and rom won't boot...
I mean you have to flash the rom from recovery

How do I do that? When I am in recovery and I select restore, there is nothing there.
I have a backup saved but it doesn't seem to be showing up.

i take it you've got s-off,goto htc1guru.com,look for ruu zip for flashing via fastboot,it will reset your phone to fully stock,guides on how to do it are on the site also

Okay, is there no way of getting a viperone zip file from my pc to install on to the phone?

You need to sideload the rom via adb. Then you'll be able to flash it from recovery.

Thanks, have tried but it can't find the file when I type the command in cmd.and it says that there is no such file or directory. I think I may have to go down the RUU route.

[HELP] Phone probaly bricked!?

Hello all,
To make a long story short: my phone is stuck his bootloader after it wiped my internal storage (i dont know what exactly happened but it happened).
The last 5 hours straight i tried to fix it throught adb sideload but ended up that i only have acces to my bootloader now.. it doesnt enter the recovery annymore, i tried to flash other recoverys (twrp and cwm) but its stuck on bootloader now.
Im despirate now, tried to solve it myself without disturbing others with it but im kinda lost now. My phone is s-on and i am hoping that somebody can help this despirate man out!
EDIT: I just noticed that my bootloader says that my phone is relocked now?
EDIT2: This is the last thing i tried (see attachment), i dont think it worked

Ok, you've to unlock this, flash a recovery do an erase cache and after sideload/push a rom into your sd and flash this...

Yes, after flash this, do an erase cache and done recovery will boot.

well i followed a guide, its actualy called Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.7_encrypted_ROM.zip but lol.zip made it somewhat easier
No its still Relocked and Tampared

You've to reunlock the bootloader for flash recovery, hboot and other thing..

my HTC is also probably bricked been trying to figure it out for 4 hours and cant get it to do factory default please help! and it only boots bootloader this happened after i installed TWRP to try and root my phone and when i tried to reboot it boots into bootloader only

Hey I just signed up for an account here because I think I might have something that can help you. I did the exact same thing to my phone recently and this guide was what gave me back my phone and my sanity. Have a look.

yeah but the TWRP is gone to and cant figure out how to get it back i also made a backup with htc sync manager but the computer wont recognize it and if i type fastboot devices it does recognize it
