but hey this looks too good to pass up

I saw that too but I don't think I want a dock that uses the micro usb, I think the risk of damaging the port is a worry, the micro usb port on my old HD2 is VERY dodgy after a couple of year of use, it also doesn't do any sort of audio output, which I know the Nexus 7 can do over usb, I am going to wait for one which uses the pogo pins and does audio out so I can just drop it in it to charge with no worry about the usb port and can plug it into my sound system.

Well I found one on amazon UK so maybe the other countries that have amazon will bring it in stock or ebay as well.

The oem one has host usb ports. I think this one only has it to provide power to thr mhl connection

I think the price will drop when it released, most companys list the price high before it get released and in mine country it's listed for 60$.
Think that will be normal price all around, since mine country are known for high price on everything and specially compared to US. Except if order direct from Samsung website and it will cost 99$. Since Samsung have a promote code for 50% and Im sure teh dock will cost around 45$ at store when it released.

Just bought this for $54 in a local shop. From my understanding it only comes in white. Well worth it. I always buy this battery and dock for every galaxy phone I've owned, s2, gnex and s3.

Its a desk stand, with a slot for charging a separate battery, infact they sale the stand alone, and a pack with a battery included, is the only stand u cab get for use in landscape because the charging desk one only works in portrait mode

I live in the Philippines. This is the box. They only have the white color here, which matches the cable.

It shouldn't come as a surprise really. I doubt that they could make a dock that could charge the battery and the phone at the same time. All the battery docks they have made so far only charge the battery.

Color mismatch with included accessories

I order the grey note but the power cable & headphones are white...not a big deal but just wondering if thats normal of samsung....been with htc since the wing

I think they all do I know for sure the sprint model does which I have and they are fairly nice.

I got the same one from tmobile Tuesday and yes my accessories are all white and my phone is Grey.

It is normal. All accessories are white. My phone is Titanium Grey and all the accessories are white in color. I have asked Samsung Service Center and they confirmed it.

Wireless Charging issue (maybe bad charger?)

Not sure if there's something specific you need to do but I bought a brand new techmatte wireless charger. The reviews were all great and I got. From Amazon. I tried it with my g2 and nothing. No matter how much I adjusted it it wouldn't work. The charger lit up when plugged in the wall but the phone didn't charge and the charger didn't show that it recognized a phone on it. I already filed a return since I just got it today but if anyone has any ideas and it works I can cancel the return thanks.
Ps. There's a video on YouTube of it working with other phones so maybe my phone is the issue???

I would suggest the wcp-300. That's the one that i have and it works quite well. I have noticed that if i have my tpu case on the phone it charges a bit slower. So, if you have it in a case, try removing it.

I tried it without a case and no go. But it was a generic one I'll try the official one since its on sale for 20 on daily steals every other week

the last bit of advice I can think of for the time being is that the Qi receiver for the phone is on the lower half of the phone. Sometimes I have to position it just so until it registers. Best of luck other than that with your new charger.

If this is anything like the PowerBot Qi charger I got from Amazon, you need to use the supplied cable. I tried to use what I had plugged into my computer at the time and it didn't quite fit right and was very loose so it wouldn't properly power up my Qi charger.

I contacted them and they told me "it isn't compatible with the g2" and they have a different version called the techmatte pod or something like that that works on the g2, but that makes no sense considering qi charging is universal. I'm not sure if I wanna try buying that one or not

all of the qi charging will make the battery hot. thats why I try to use wired when i can.

As far as I concerned, if it's truly a Qi charger it should work. Maybe you have a faulty unit and they don't have to eat the cost? I'd just return it and get another product. This is what I got:

This works for my two LG G2 VS980 and my Galaxy Nexus 7 (2013). Make sure you use the supplied cable or you'll have a loose connection.
