Hey guys want to get some more support for our device so I threw this together today. It is a Stock UEALI3 Rom that is Deodexed and Rooted. It alos has some other things done to it as well which I will list below.

-Added Asus Weather widget and LWP

This is fully bloated as I will let users remove what they want, may provide a de-bloated rom at a later time.
You are more than welcome to use this and any other future release as a base if you wish,

How to install.....I use Entrophys CWM. The touch ones are just having issues right now it seems.
1-Download rom
2-Reboot into Recovery
3-FULL WIPE/FACTORY RESET!!!!
4-Install and reboot.

A-Nope, mostly bone stock.
Q-Where is EyeCandy?
A-I may not make and EyeCandy mod till JB drops, I would hate to release a EyeCandy TM for ICS and JB Drop the same day.

A-I love making my android devices faster and better as much as the next guy so if it will help us out, then HECK YEAH!!
Q-Can I get the CRT animation and Extended Power Menu for this Rom?
A- Yep, flash THIS in recovery and wipe cache and dalvik.

HOLY CRAP!!!! Android File Host does not what to completely upload my Rom. Has hung at 100% and doesn't move to finished status. Have contacted them, but am uploading to my DropBox temporarily. Sorry guys major hang up here I know.

Due to no Source available for the latest TW leak's kernel I will not be able to port my kernel over. Until Then I will be focusing on a stock 3.1 ROM with my kernel. As soon as the source is released or we find a way to make my kernel work with the latest ROM I am going to put any furthur development on hold. Sorry.. I would just rather try to do it right rather than not.

I just did an edit in the updater-script, I changed the comma after -("/tmp/boot.img", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p3") to a semicolon and it flashed just fine. its booting up right now so Ill let you know
Edit: Booted up just fine and running great
One thing I would like to suggest is to mod the useragent to desktop in the stock browser.

First off:
You will need ClockworkMod 4.1.0.4 to flash this rom (uses ext4 partitioning) - You can find this here Also, this thread is and download link is for the NS only!
Second: This rom was not created by me, all credit goes to preludedrew and the evervolv team. All i did is create a build for us NS and NS4G users. Also for Screenshots, check out Evervolv.com!
Now:
Download the latest from here.

the notification buttons didn't work and also very choppy. Installed and by morning, i couldn't regain control of my phone. pulled the battery.
i had made the mistake of enabling the screen on and screen off animation (crt tv style). perhaps that had something to do with it.
anyway.. i feel it's unusable.
EDIT--- I read the op again just now an i see My mistake! This requires ext4. Sorry. I am keen to test that later this week.
This is not visual mod or theming and so posted in Android Development section.
As we all are aware there is memory leak issue with JB Roms (may not be experienced in some case), so I decided to play with framework jars and mod them to optimize RAM management.
I had used Advanced Task Killer on JB Rom and problems became grave, I needed to restart device after every hour.
So freeing the RAM in that way didn't work at all.
So, I decided to try reverse and let maximum multitasking take place (ofcourse, with optimal RAM free for launching new activities)
This can be done customizing ADJ parameters.
ICS or JB doesn't read ADJ values from build.prop or local.prop - so they are hardcoded into services.jar!
Moreover, after patching the services.jar for OOM priority... kernel overrides few needed parameters and even init.d wont help in such case.
So, I have created APK file which will do all the dirty work for you

Ninja Mode features:
Maximum Overdrive:
As mentioned earlier, it's optimal usage of RAM for maximum multitasking intended to control memory leak.
The ROM experience will get much snappier than before even with too many apps!!
Optimized Framework:
The framework of the ROM is now PNG optimized. This will increase performance as load time should decline.
Fastest ZipAlign:
The normal zipalign option in ROM is slow as it zipaligns all apps everytime.
The method used here is different and it checks new apps if available and zipaligns!
Database Optimization:
The database files are reindexed and vaccumed. This may fasten your overall app experience.
3G Booster:
Lot's of tweak for data connection!
SdCard Read Ahead value boost
Dalvik Heap Size limit increased
Least of ads in any app (latest 'hosts')
... and many other minor tweaks...
Caution:
This mod is only for BlackCNA and is under testing.
First flash the CWM and then install the app manually.
First reboot will take little longer time as it will zipalign all apks and fix permissions.
Using this app on other ROM is not recommended as framework needed to be patched.
To uninstall this mod, uninstall the app and you will need to flash the ROM again (without wipe will do.)
Installation:
Make sure you are on BlackCNA v1.2 ROM
Flash the base via CWM and reboot.
Install the "Ninja Mode" apk manually and activate it!
Reboot one time...

question on the sdcard swap (also thanks for getting it working) do I have to move all my data from the internal to my external now that its been swapped? or does it just move it over itself?
The sd swap just swaps the mount pointes, you'd have to move your stuff. Keep in mind this runs every boot so when you're in recovery, your external is still your external, and your internal is still your internal.
Make sure you see mattiadj and thank him very little to make work so please, don't thank me for that mod. :good:

no worries man got the tar from the root page, would u mind if i used your kernel? also do u have a link to the stock shipped kernel? just finished building new computer so its time to rock and roll, i also got a cpl sources keeping an eye out for a jellybean leak

Can anybody else confirm that Netflix is working correctly on my ROM? The app starts up just fine, but when I play a video, all I get is a black screen. Everything else works, just no video.

This rom is compiled from source and most of the color has been greyed out. I made this rom because i was tired of the blues and other colors so made this for my personal use. Decided to share the rom for others who might find it usefull. I will most likely update once a week.

Nice rom so far. Love those greys. But found small bug. Take a look at the Google now app. Its has major graphical glitches more update will come soon.

There is a major problem. The current version. It seems this ROM is not establishing any network. I thought it was at my end. Tried to install this from past 3 days but exact same problem. There is always unknown baseband in About phone menu. See screenshot. Please see through.

redownload rom and try. i just uploaded fixed rom and flashed on two phones and is working i belive there was a problem with phone.apk that was giving this problem. let me know if it is fixed or not
do you really name it DARNESS_[4.2.2]_CM10.1_V1.0?? missing k here (in build number)... without this k everything will be a mess..... k is very important you know...
ps: nevermind me...just boring waiting for it to download. thanks for the rom.
Didn't even notice that the whole ROM may fall apart hahaha will pay more attention in following builds
