galaxy tab 8.9 p7300 dead screen
How can I fix this
My 7 plus did that before, try plugging the USB in the computer and see if it will come back on.
Think they called it the screen of death, if is the same thing. May not be though. I haven't had the problem with my 8.9.

Hi, I attempted to flash my tab yesterday with odin, placed the file in pit, hit start, everything was going well until the cat jumped on my laptop and knocked the usb cord out... Tab wont turn on now or charge, cant reset or reboot, laptop don't recognise Tab plugged in either, i hope i haven't full bricked my Tab. I'm in great anguish to fix this desperately!
PLEASE HELP ME!
I've looked at most of the blogs and nothing seems to help...
Otherwise im pretty confident with this stuff as I've modified my SGSII & wanted to do the same to the Tab...

What could have been the problem where most users here had internal memory or chip failure? The rom we used or hardware instability?

Most?
What is the statistic? 51%?

I know you have been very helpful in the p1000 thread, but I'm not trolling here, please don't bash me.
Actually does anyone feel that it is a manufacturing internal memory failure or we are just bunch of unlucky ppl who happened to have bought a tab with malfunctioning internal memory?

Not bashing you. But just disagree with the estimation you put.
I think it more likely some percentage of units have chips that are bad.
Also, do they fail within warranty period?
In manufacturing it is not that easy to weed out bad parts.
Btw, there are threads talking about using external sd only.
Have you tried that? Apparently with class 10 cards, the tab performs relatively well.

your not alone
your not the only one with that problem,as for me i just successfully recovered 210mb of my internal sd card, ddnt knew much of what i was doin so i ended up with a messed up tab,but cheer up,theres always hope for those who find ways

Ya I read around about using the external sd as internal memory. However I found ppl saying that some custom roms do not run well, so I just leave my tab aside and find the time to learn how to use the toolkit. Thanks for the info.

I transfer my apps to sd with app2sd by Sam Lu.
Good day to all developer there. I have a simple question that only developers can answer. My question is all about Rom Slots in Droid 4 using safestrap. The question is " is there any disadvantage when using Rom Slot in Droid 4". Like it can less the life span of the internal memory which can cause to internal damage. I've been searching a lot of time in google but still no answers are being cleared.
I think there is no disadvantage because no one replies, or maybe the 8gb internal storage is same as what the 8gb system internal memory. LoL
