Hi All,
Not sure if anyone else has noticed but now and then the bottom left area of the screen flickers a little. Mostly on non white backgorund.. i.e. Grey. Have brightness up full and the auto dimming unckecked).
Didnt see any other post with info on this hence the new topic.
Does this sound like a faulty unit.. even though its intermittent, or just some sort of glitch.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Never seen that myself, but if you can take it back to the shop and show them they should exchange it

As it's your first post I'll let you off this time but there's a sticky which says do not post questions in the General forum that you passed while posting there, please read and follow them in future.
Thanks

Hi guys,
There seem to be a not working Led at the left side of speaker. Does anyone know if this can work, and in what way?
Right if you bothered to look around in this forum, you would see that there is no LED light on the Diamond..that little light in the speaker is the sensor to dim or brighten the screen....its not a led light or anything like that...its a sensor.

LOL far from it, not in a bad mood...its just this question has been posted quite a few times etc.
Hello!
I bought my Diamond yesterday *yay*...
I wonder, that small transparent piece of plastic built into to the earpiece. Is that an LED?
If yes, mine doesn' t blink or anything. Should it? And if yes, when?
I had an HTC Wizard before which blinked green when I had signal and orange when charging or a message received.
No it's the light sensor.
Ah thanks. I think the replacement for the LED is that funky navigation pad...
That's correct. De ring around the navigation circle lights up when charging. It will stay on when your battery is full. And it will flash if you missed a call or received a message/mail.
its a 2nd camera... the led is the ring on the nav circle
nobody reads the M A N U A L anymore? is it easier to throw a new thread?!
this question was asked and answered a few times already.
btw, the manual has pictures also.
STFU. I can' t delete my thread now that I got the answer. A moderator may do that.
Still, this is a DISCUSSION forum. That means there may appear topics that aren' t of interest for some people. You may just not read these topics - your choice.
But flaming around does neither help the guy starting the thread nor will it change anything for you (besides a shrinking d!ck).

I don' t want your help at all. I think even if you really try, your "help" wouldnt be really helpful. Thanks.
And no, I am not noob. Just not many posts yet. Kudos.
You may throw one of these israeli nukes at me. Do it.

that will be a waste...
even flaming can be conducted in an elegant/civilized manner. use your sense of humor and do not use fault language...please
an "oops, my bad" would suffice....

Anyone open up their touchpad to replace a screen or other reason?
After opening it up is it difficult to close it back up? Do the gaskets get destroyed? Any idea where to purchase new gaskets if they do? Do the clips get destroyed? Any tips for someone opening it up for the first time?
In this section just 2 posts below yours is a thread with comments advice and pictures .

I've read and posted there but no one really said anything about the gaskets being destroyed or any particular difficulties of assembling the unit back together.
I don't mean to spam but I was hoping a separate thread would get more traffic and give me a better insight to my problem.

Thanks for the reply, I skimmed over the pictures on the ifixit guide. I'm gonna go look into it further now.
I've had the phone for a while now, completely stock mind you. Every now and then the home and back buttons don't work. I would have to lock then unlock the screen to get it working. Happens about twice a day. Any ideas?

Yeah, literally a couple posts above you. Please search before posting.
I did search before posting and all I found was a thread about controlling the lights and issues with its sensitivity and also I came across a thread where someone inquired about using the HTC logo as a button. Instead of being useless you could have just reported your answer. Or add something of value. Asshole
