Team EOSJB 4.1.2 CrespoNIGHTLIES
Continuing on from the success of the EOS ICS roms, we present to you EOS3, based on JELLYBEAN!
It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. For the latest news on Team EOS releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #teameos.

NOTE: Team EOS, it’s members, friends, dogs, cats, and associates are in no way responsible for any loss of data or device functionality. Use this at your own risk!
--
A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.
EOS is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.
Team EOS Nightly builds: http://goo-inside.me/devs/teameos/roms/eos3/nightlies/crespo/
G-Apps Package
Because this is an AOSP based rom Google Apps are not included in the base rom. To install Google Apps please flash the following package after installing the base rom:
Gapps package gapps
--
Features:
Because these are nightly builds the included features are constantly evolving, we do not provide a change log manually. Instead please see the changes on jenkins for your build.
For the most up to date and comprehensive listing of the changes included in this rom please visit http://review.teameos.org
Kernel:
Kernel Note: This rom is currently using the stock kernel, so you can find the sources from aosp.
--
Installation Notes:
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery.
Perform a full wipe (read Factory Reset) prior to installing this over ANY ICS or JB based rom.
BUGS!
If you find strange or otherwise unexplained errors please report them here: https://bugs.teameos.org/ Please include logcats and as thorough a description of the issue and what lead up to the issue as possible. With out this we will be unable to track down these errors.
Want to contribute to the Eos rom? Well you can!

I'm not used to working in a capacitive button environment. But I'm sure I can do better than just back button app kill

Glad to hear you guys are liking it. It should be pretty much stable by now. If issues every arise please let me know.
This is a relay nice rom. very stable, smooth and a nice set of features.
I do have one question and one request.
Question:
There is a setting for screen shot Scale but I cant find the screen shot setup or toggle itself.
Where is the screen shot capability or was it left out?
Request:
One of my most used features is Volume button to advance music while asleep.
Can this possibly be implemented into future builds?
Thanks in advance and again, very nice rom.

Simply tap the preference in Display settings and select the scale factor from the dialog. There hasn't been much demand for hardware button remapping so we don't have the volume mods. But this is our first supported capacitive button device so seems we should do something for you guys.

This part I know as I stated in my previous post but how/where do you actually take a screen shot?
no button exists in the power menu as most other roms. no power/volume button combo seems to work.
Does this mean that I need to download a separate app like Dropcap2? <------ (( which does not work))
hello,
I had already written and got some answers ... but in the wrong section
...Then I rewrite here, in the right one for my kind of Nexus:
hi
I've just installed this ROM that looks like great! (and I've ported this thread in another italian forum...)
Only a couple of requests, if it's possible... :
Would you like to add the volume rocker wake mod, for the "almost broken power button" users like me, and, ever if it's possible, add the "quad lock screen"?
Thanks anyway!!
Nice

I've had RC1 since it came out and haven't updated since I never knew what was changed or added.
The official changelog doesn't list what was changed from version to version -- very annoying.
So... For anyone who is running CM6 Final, is there any benefit to updating from RC1? Any new features? Performance improvements? Anything worthwhile at all?
There is a lot of great stuff in there. Check out the change log. http://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_vendor_cyanogen/blob/froyo/CHANGELOG.mkdn I believe everything below "Common: Other camera enhancements - Cyanogen" has been added since RC1
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
The best way in my opinion to keep up with changes is to either follow @cmsrc & all the various CM contributors in your twitter feeds or subscribe to Cyanogen's Github, twitter, and CM forum RSS feeds. I do both. I keep a folder in my Google Reader labeled "cyanogen" that keeps me pretty much up to date with whats going on.
To attempt to answer your question a couple things I think are different from RC1 to Stable would be the
RenderFX widget
restart into bootloader/recovery directly from the power button
obviously ADWLauncher with custom shortcuts & a few other goodies
exporting the XML from custom notifications started working
maybe the new power settings widget?
Touch to focus is the coolest new feature and it works beautifully.
Moving from RC1 means you'll see quite a few changes... most notable would be
1. True 720p video recording
2. Enhanced camera app with ISO settings and many more manual settings
3. Camera touch to focus
4. Ability to set custom trackball colors for apps notifications
5. Enhanced audio DSP (equalizer)
6. System-wide proxy settings

I've never used trackball alert but I would say it isn't needed anymore.
You can choose any color and blink rate for any notification.
It includes options for:
Succession
Pulse in order
Random Colors
Blend Notifications

I never tried it on the rc3 either, but since i have upgraded to the CM6 final, I went to the camera, touched the screen to bring up the auto focus option on top right and switched to touch to focus.
Do you not have that option under rc3?

[AOSP]LiquidMetal for the Incredible
First I need to thank Jermaine151 for allowing me (to attempt) to continue his work on the LiquidMetal For the Incredible port. Which goes to say I have to thank BigRushDog for his ROCK SOLID Metal build that the RC1 for the Incredible was based off of. I would like to also thank Sac23 and bmxerkid954 for allowing me to use their work and port their build to the Incredible, and were used for Jermaine151's previous versions of this rom. BIG thanks to Koush and the Cyanogen tam for their CM6 files and all they do. Thanks to Koush for his kernel and too many contributions to name. A thanks to gmichaelow for answering questions asked by Jermaine151. A special thanks to Incredibledoes for the original Liquid port. Thanks to jrummy for his ROM Toolbox (look into the donate version.) A thanks to 3MX10 for helping me out with all my stupid questions and helping me pick up where Jermaine151 left off. A special thanks to ALL the testers that have been involved with this project (before or now) for their time and trust that their phones wouldnt get bricked.
If i forgot anyone, it wasn't intentional. PM me and i will update this (this was based off Jermaine151's thread on XDA).
BigRushDog's thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=870944
Sac23 and bmxerkid954's thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=903470
Jermaine151's thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920804
This ROM is based on Android 2.2 (Froyo) and is built from the Android Open Source Project Code (AOSP) With the Acer Liquid Metal UI on top. (continuing where Jermaine151 left off)
*This rom was not intended for the INC, it is a port and has bugs; it is built off the Metal base. Close to it original source code, just modified for the your phone*
-Proximity Sensor doesn't turn the screen off immediately, but prevents buttons from being pressed when the phones against your face and eventually does turn the screen off. (Works perfectly on LiquidLight)
-Location and Security FC's (Crazy workaround: Rename Phone.apk to Phone.apk.bak, reboot, go intomenu and make changes, rename back and reboot - thanks iceman99393)
-No LEDs for notifications (I'll see what I can do. Any help is appreciated)
-LED flashes orange when charging and turns solid orange when fully charged
-No TV Out
-Changing the Dolby Mobile settings could throw you for a loop.
-CarHome doesn't play nice and will not be included.
-Light sensor (Rom includes Brightness widget)
PLEASE READ - Tips & Tricks:
-To Drag Icons to Other Screens Faster
Drag the icon to the numbers at the bottom of the app drawer
-To Dial *228 for Activation or PRL update (*228 FC's on some AOSP roms)
Dial *228+ (long press the numeral zero key to add the plus sign)
-To Hide the Whole Dock or Half of it
Drag ALL of your icons for the launcher into the app drawer and the notification bar will rest at the bottom of the screen.
Leave just 4 icons in the top row of the launcher and the dock will become half size.
-To Do Normal Reboot/Recovery Reboot
Use Quick Boot app.
-To Make the Weather More Accurate
Open your widgets app (either with the icon or by long pressing the home button, while the screen is unlocked).
Long press the weather widget and drag it to the trash can in the bottom left.
Hit the "+" button and add weather again. It will let you search for your specific city.
-If You don't Like all of the Vibration Feedback, You Can Turn it Off
For Buttons: Settings-->Sound-->Haptic feedback
For Stock Keyboard: Settings-->Language and Keyboard-->XT9 Text Input-->Preferences-->Vibrate on Keypress
-If You Don't Like the Transitions, You Can Turn Them Off
Settings-->Display-->Animation-->Some or None
-If You Don't Like the Launcher, Install Your Favorite Launcher (FIRST!!!!) and THEN Change it
Settings-->Applications-->User Interface. After rebooting it will ask your to choose you launcher (DO NOT CHOOSE LAUNCHER2) (Thanks cooljames2186 for finding this)
If you don't install another launcher before doing this, you may end up in a bootloop
-If You Select Custom Wallpapers and No Longer Want Them Displayed in the Wallpaper (Home Decor) app
Use Root Explorer (or your favorite file manager) and navigate to here: /data/data/com.acer.android.breeze.launcher/wallpapers/user/
Delete any of the numbered folders (i.e. 1, 2, etc)and they will immediately disappear from the wallpaper app.
What's Included:
MMS (Send/Receive)
720P Camcorder
8MP Camera
GPS works
Bluetooth works (Wiimote should work but I can't test that)
Working Wi-fi
Wireless Tether (I've tested with included kernel)

Instructions:
1. Download the Rom to your SD card.
2. Nandroid
3. Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache (i recomment formating /boot and /system in advanced menu)
3. Flash the rom zip via recovery.
4. Boot it fully (You shouldn't get a FC if you hit back arrow at region selection, but the FC doesn't hurt anything).
5. Go through set up or skip though it.
6. Set up your Gmail account, let it sync, get your updates from the market.
It may be sluggish after your first boot (Rom's take time to settle in). 7.Please give it 15 mins or more (depending on how much media you have on internal memory and your sdcard) because the media scanner is going through all of your media, adding it into it's database and creating thumbnails.
8. Enjoy!

honestly i forgot all about it. i've been up for like 20 hours straight. I went through, updated all the apps and tried to slim it down a little. I added the ziggy kernel, and it's so smooth (if it's possible to be more than it was.) thanks again.
I'll update OP with changes in the future.

Have you tested this with Chad's Froyo Incredikernel? If not, I'll flash that after I get around to flashing this ROM and report back.
EDIT: After I test the ROM with the kernel you use, of course.
No I haven't tried his incredikernel yet, but as long as its an aosp froyo compatible kernel it should work. I'll download now and try.

Edit:
Installed and running just as smooth, i'm not a benchmark guy anymore. If you want to compare with quadrant go right ahead.
Ok cool. I've been on my phone a decent amount today and am waiting on a couple calls, so if I can't get to it today I'll get it tonight. Looks really cool. I am running NilsP's 3.5. Gingersense at the moment which is really good. I would prefer an AOSP ROM but the stock look is too boring to me and MIUI is too iPhone like, although it has some really cool looking themes. This may be just what I'm looking for lol
Thanks for trying. All credit goes to those listed in OP. right now its just updated (apps) and slimmed down. But there are things in motion. Hopefully this takes off again.

Yep, no problem. And by stock look, I meant like what you would get on a Nexus or a standard AOSP ROM, not this. Hope I didn't cause any confusion.
Man this is awesome so far, I have tried a lot of different roms and this is by far the one I like the most. Thank you
@Bull, I figured that was what you meant.
@Dark, I was away from the Inc for a while. But this was my favorite ROM. I'm hoping to get it bug free. And i'm going to try my hardest to get a GB version, if we can get a system dump. I've got a couple emails out.

So far the only issue I've seen is GPS doesn't work in navigation, unless it takes a while to lock on and I just want patient enough. Other than that it's rock solid.

the last days there was really a HUGE amount of work, all these administrative things and getting the base of the rom itself done.
but theres still a lot to do and no break in sight
hoping to get time for audio soon, its really bugging me.

Russian is very annoying And you asked to not post link, I haven't posted
@Evisceration
Good work. I wanted to request for a few features
1."XPosed Framework".
2. Viper4Android (it works out of box better)
Tried to register in forum but found some difficulty in doing so. Also for gerrit your link should be with http and not https.
Again Nice work

mhm, im afraid that will not happen :/
we are very open with requests, but there are some things.
as proprietary is likely not to get included, and thats what Viper is, even if it may work better (btw our tuned DSPManager is badass though)
and XPosed, i know a lot of people use it, but the thing is like that.
if we include it, it means we "support it officially" which results in, we have to fix everything which xposed may break and that is very likely to happen, as it modifies the system.
and thats a no go.
Ok got your point! But meant DSP is badass anyway? hehe!

yeah haha.
it has some additional effects (bass boost, stereo widening) and also a brand new interface
https://github.com/NamelessRom/andr...mmit/48acef92682148840eb7f9620ab0b543d67f701d
though its not much of use until Audio is fully working anyways
Saw the link...looks promising but till sound doesnt work cant compare and say anything.
I flashed this new ROM 3 hours ago and now I am restoring my apps with Titanium step by step with making CWM backups of course.
Until now it looks very good and stable.
1. Can I install SuperSU and if yes what is preferred: install from market or flash the zip?
2. The boot animation could be improved IMHO.
3. I changed the launcher to XPeria Z 2.06b (compatible to Android 4.4)
4. GPS is really not better as in Velox and stock ROMs (5-10 minutes until a fix), IZS and Mackay need 10 seconds. It seems that your ROM does not use A-GPS.
Thank you for your hard work developing a new ROM!

you dont need to flash supersu as superuser is already integrated
bootanimation is a default one, its really high resolution and thats why its REALLY slow and laggy, we just need to decide a good bootanimation
launcher is launcher3 by default, but it really lacks a lot (like every previous one, trebuchet too) so im running with Nova (fast and lightweight, regarding ram udage too)
gps is hard for me too test as the second hand p970 i just bought for development is half broken (my first one broke completly so i had to buy a second one) and i dont really use it much.
though i applied gps tweaks but still it seems something isnt sticking how it should (propably kitkats new way of handling sensors, maybe permission changes etc)
5) audio doesnt work so it shouldnt be used as a daily driver until its fixed ( someone donates some time or helps me out? )
Sent from my GT-I9505
I think u should make a boot animation for your brand (Nameless ROM). a light and beautiful one.
--------
also pls don't change launcher. let launcher3 to stay default.

Yes, I know it but I like SuperSU much more.
I installed it from the market and it worked at once, so no problem.
First I respect your really hard work with this ROM!
Do you use the same kernel as in your Velox ROM?
Can I use another kernel perhaps from Mackay (very stable)?
I tried your ROM yesterday with installing my usual apps (they are running perfect in IZS and Mackay but not in Velox and now in Nameless) but I had to do this without the back cover of my phone to be able to remove the battery because of the permanent crashes.
These (kernel ?) crashes are not repeatable, sometime the phone reboots but stucks during the boot animation.
As mentioned the Velox ROM on my phone is almost as unstable as the Nameless (I cannot count how often I made a fresh install).
I will try again and again, now with only some of my apps and the default launcher.
Please believe me I will help you
Edit and solution at least on my phone:
the culprit was SuperSU. Without it Nameless is very stable since 1 week

kernel is default kernel without extra tweaks.
it reboots because it panics inside the system, as its not fully done yet, still a lot needs to be ported, eg audio and hardware composer.

To God be the glory, my AOKP NOUGAT project finally works!
Greetings from Alaska! I looked around for AOKP 7.1.2 for my new to me T-Mobile H811, and I couldn't find one, so I built one instead. I have been developing roms for a while on the Samsung Galaxy S4, S5, and Note Edge, and thought I'd try a non-Samsung phone. My work is free for you to use, take, edit, and implement any way you see fit. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it! Feel free to leave comments in this thread, I don't mind a little background chatter or friendly discussion!
This is not a dirty unicorn. This is the original unicorn, the AOKP. Now made out of Nougat! That's right, all of the AOKP stuff you love, plus LineageOS, plus a built in side bar, and more! All wrapped up into one! With tons of settings from status bar tweaks to button remaps, it's all here and ready to rumble!

**** This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. Install at your own risk! ****
You must perform an oem unlock before using this rom!
Downloads :
Download:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/fktizc6ieye4o/nougat
Gapps link:
http://opengapps.org/
-Which I personally tested Arm64 7.1 Pico.
The AKLU kernel:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/development/kernel-nougat-kernels-t3622811
Be sure to follow these installation steps very carefully, as they may be different then what you are used to.
Installation instructions:
-Download ROM and gapps, and put them on your phone or external storage.
-Reboot into recovery mode - TWRP (I personally installed this using 2.8.7.0, but newer ones should work too!)
-Backup what you had. (Just to be safe.)
-Wipe. (I personally wipe everything prior to flashing new roms, but at least do the basic wipe.)
-Install Rom.
-Install Gapps. - Optional
-Reboot to system and enjoy!
-- Or, after rebooting to system, go back to TWRP and install the AKLU kernel!
I do not recommend installing superSU on this ROM! SU permission is already built in, and superSU has been causing problems with the rom.
What works :
Code:
+ Phone calls/receiving
+ Data 2g/3g/LTE
+ Bluetooth
+ WiFi
+ MTP
+ Split screen
etc....
What doesn't :
Code:
- I have not found any big errors, fault crashes, or problems yet. Please let me know if you find an issue! (There must be some!)
This AOKP N ROM was built for the H811, the T-Mobile LG G4. I have not tried this on any other device, but you are welcome to try it AT YOUR OWN RISK. You may need to edit the META-INF updater script to accomplish this. It MAY flash on H815 as is, as I added a line for that in the build. Please chime in if it worked on your device!
Code:
Disclaimer: AOKP is not responsible for any damages to your device.
All of my work is completely available for any who wish to use or modify it. I didn't make AOKP, the device trees, or vendor blobs. I simply used and edited existing material. A huge thanks should go to those who actually created this stuff.

Notes:
Just a spot for some field notes about the ROM.
Background:
The awesome background was provided by The Quiet Learner, you can see more of his work here:
https://qlfiles.net/
You can also change the background using SWAGGER, to choose from several amazing AOKP backgrounds. Just long press the background as usual, and choose SWAGGER.
Multi-Window:
Open the app you want on top, then long press the recent button, then select the app you want on the bottom. Slide the slider up or down to choose full screen for the top or bottom app. Note: if in multi-window mode, pressing home goes to the home screen, but opening an app causes multi-window mode again with the last app you had open and the new app you chose.
OmniSwitcher:
You must enable OmniSwitcher to use it. There are choices for horizontal or vertical layouts, as well as the "handle" size and color. You can also enable the "menu" button, which may come in handy due to the long press of the recent button being used for multi-window.
excellent mate!
Few questions...
have you tried Llama Kernel for it?
Which theme engine works? (oms, legacy, etc...)
Oo... and first!

Great questions!
I have not tried the lama kernel, I always make my own, I am working on one now, but if you try it, please let me know how it goes.
As for themes, this is 100% substratum compliant.

Another quick question.. How do you get Magisk to work on this ROM? I have tried various methods. Root works fine, but Safetynet has issues.

So...
Just so you are aware, safetynet does not pass with completely stock KDZ ok?
Secondly, even Magisk will not pass safetynet as of yet, he states it's getting worked on tho
https://www.xda-developers.com/magisk-developer-assures-next-magisk-beta-will-pass-safetynet-again/
Thirdly, the OP shows you that SU is built-in, so you woould need to figure out a way to remove it from the ROM (and probably kernel) first, once you do that, you can probably go and install Magisk.
Hope this helps mate, and good luck.

Praise God! The AKLU kernel is up, but it's just getting started. New Governors in the AKLU kernel:

giving this a test drive with your kernel, so far so very good liking this much more than slim, many more settings and things to play around with. using open camera, so far not missing stock camera too much but im sure i will eventually, its the reason i got the G4 in the first place, but this is some good stuff, thanks so much for the builds, keep them coming!!

Yes AOKP is very feature rich, sort of the antithesis (if that is the right word) of SlimRoms. However it is a bit heavier (space wise), and uses a few more resources. But the G4 seems quite capable at handling it.
These two are very different schools of thought....
AOKP:
Provide every thing you need, and make everything customizable. Don't try to hide root, and offer every amenity. Want for nothing!
SlimRoms:
Give them the very basics, offer a few core features and let them build their app base with the things they truly want. Simplicity at it's finest. Speed through lightness!
I think both have a place. Just like ice cream, everybody likes their favorite flavor. In glad you like the rom!

Usraek,
Thanks for the kind words! I can't take all of the credit though, the AOKP team did all the hard work! Not to mention the dozen or so that worked on device trees and vendor blobs, to which I only edited and slightly modified for this purpose.
Thanks for the heads up on the 5ghz WiFi. I am downloading some source right now and plan to release an update with June's security patches. When I do, I will test the WiFi.
It is working great on my slim ROMs build, so I will have to review it thoroughly if it doesn't work on AOKP.

Well, I can still give you credit for bringing these ROMs here! I just got my H811 that is flashable yesterday, after my H812 that was bootloader locked up and bootlooped. So I'll be honest, the 5ghz *may* work, I'm almost certain it doesn't, but I've flashed like a dozen ROMs to try today so I may have got something mixed up... lol
Cheers

No problem! But it may still be an issue. Perhaps a channel problem? As you know there is channel 1 through 11, perhaps not all channels are working?

Praise God! Another update!
There is a new download in the OP! Just a sync with AOKP for security patches through June! There is also a new web browser that you can try!
Just an FYI, I have changed the download link to a folder containing the rom(s), its just a little easier, so after an upload I do not have to update the links, as the folder will not change, just the rom in it.
I did test the WiFi, and the 5ghz is working great here.
Enjoy and Happy Independence Day and weekend to my fellow Americans!

I forgot to mention that I also changed the boot animation to the old "lightning" AOKP boot animation.
If you want the new "pony-gear" animation, you can grab it here in the "Official AOKP" folder:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/o172vzm25q6n3/bootanimations
Or you can poke around the other animations and use any of those if you like them. Checkmate was one of my favorites, although I made these a while back for older phones, so they may be a little "fast" and/or "small" on your phone now.
thank you so much for this rom dev! I cannot live without fling and omniswitch and have been on DU since their last update. it's worlds better than what i was running before. i cannot express how thankful I am for this rom!
can I ask for a couple of feature requests? would be awesome to have the option for some app shortcuts on the lockscreen and the ability to customize the bottom left and right unlock-to-apps. I can totally live without them but just want a little more icing on the cake. to me, those two features are the only thing from a perfect rom for me.
