[Q] (HELP) Samsung Galaxy Note Completely DEAD. - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello to all,
My galaxy note will not power on after I did a Wipe Data on temporary CWM with ICS XXLRG. The screen freezed then everything went DEAD, No lights, no PC connection, recharged battery in another device, used USB jig nothing revived it. I have been tried every recommendation from this forum for weeks but nothing works for me. Does anyone have any other tips I can try or is my NOTE completely gone?:crying:

i guess its superbricked.. if u have done everything then a board replacement is the only option or a JTAG

Forgotten pin code?

Not sure about this but I assume it is a case of forgotten Pin code. If not, excuse my assumption. Turn the phone off, take out the battery, put the battery back in, hold volume up, home and power up the phone in Recovery mode. Do a factory reset. This should remove all settings, including the forgotten Pin code.
Isn't this dangerous (brick bug) if it's on ICS?

Galaxy Ace touchscreen problem

Hello everyone. I have posted this in the S5830i section, my mistake, so I'm posting it here instead.
I hope you'll be able to help me with this
So, I have a problem with my Galaxy Ace S5830. The touchscreen doesn't work properly as it should. An example of this is I try to select an icon or anything for that matter (ie. settings) and I have to like massage or press the icon multiple times for the touchscreen to detect the touch. All the physical keys work fine. I have also posted a video (sorry for the bad quality, it's an old Nokia) demonstrating the problem.
I have tried absolutely everything I can imagine, rooting, flashing official firmware, flashing cm7, different kernel. I'm now currently running CM7 with CWM. I really have no idea what to do from here on, as my phone is now basically useless.:crying:
Thanks in advance!
Gal

I have used that code already and it showed the problem quite well. As I said and demonstrated in the video, I need to kind of massage the icon I want to open.

Turn off the xposed, reboot and try.
Anyone brave enough to try this on the 10.5 yet? I'm using Xposed for now but would love to ditch that for the exact thing I need without the bloat.
Thanks.

Tried flashing via CWM and it didn't work. I'm assuming it had more to do with me being on Odex rather than not using TWRP.

Yes you must copy android.policy.jar to system/framework and delete android.policy.odex. Make sure you have a nandroid or backup first and find out if your Rom already has mods in android.policy.jar as this will overwrite them.
Thanks
Odd. Have flashed three times using TWRP (F9 TW stock rooted). Doesn't seem to stick. TWRP flashes "successfully" but to no avail. MD5 checked out.

Are you deodexed? If not look in system/framework and see if you have android.policy.jar and android.policy.odex. If so you need to rename android.policy.odex to android.policy.odex.bak. and test. DO A SYSTEM NANDROID FIRST!!!
Thanks

*but this may be much annoying rather you can just do a Full Factory Reset and and flash the rom again without flashing the gapps. Or you can flash the original gapps for your rom in recovery.
If Helped Click Thanks
