Hello friends please help me i am new to Galaxy ACE S5830. Previously i am having Galaxy Y and i did all the flashing and custom roms thing ther, so i am not new to flashings.
But friends i need help in finding Best rom available now , latest rom, for ACE. Yes ther is no such thing like best but when i checked in forums some are out dated, so can you people please give me latest best roms list so that i can choose from them which are working. Please friends help me out.
Choose anything based on stock & you're good to go. I know it is hard to find good roms when you're a newbie but please try to experiment & read some reviews about the rom before posting threads like this. You are experienced with galaxy y & you must already be knowing that such threads aren't encouraged here.
Anyways, take care from now on. To start with, try our myth roms, spacecaker's sgs2/sgs3,stocklite v8, galaxy ace unlimited, touchwiz ux by nathan, etc.

I can only suggest you The Ultimatum. If you aren't a CM fan or want more battery life I suggest Stocklite v7.1 / 8

Also if you opt for a Stock based Rom i would advice you to Flash Fly-On Mod or Pure-Performance Mod.

Hey, everyone! This is my first post on XDA, though I'm a long time reader. These boards have been very helpful to me but there are still some questions that I haven't been able to find the answer for, with one of them being the topic of this thread.
So, I also own i9305N version of Samsung Galaxy S3 and since there are no custom ROMs made specifically for my version of the phone, I was wondering if flashing a ROM made for i9305 (say, PAC-ROM or Carbon ROM) would result in my phone malfunctioning or becoming completely unusable.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes you can , but why not use one of these pre rooted roms as it will root it without triggering the count.
I have use them for two years, never a problem....

Thanks. I read that thread already. Someone already posted that n got grilled quite a bit. I'm not saying it's impossible (hopefully). I'm just saying that this question has been asked tad too many times which suggest u should read what's already in the thread. No offence though. Just a form of goodwill of reminder.

I read that to port a stock rom you must have the source code, which samsung will not release. That's the problem.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA Free mobile app
it is very difficult (nearly impossible) to make a port like that
but in S3 case the hardware of it is almost the same as N2

That's a remarkable feat, especially having in mind that you asked where you could find porting tutorials just three months ago.
