Ok, so I Loaded one of teh newer Blur based ROMS, really liking it.
As this is my 1st blur based ROM I have used in a long time....After loading the ROM, I added my google account...and the play store won't automatically load my apps off teh market...have to manually add them all.
I used to be able to go on the market website from my pc, browse apps, and install from the web directly. That doesn't seem to work either.
Is this a known issue with all Blur based ROMs?

Will a HTC magic from Rogers be able to access and download all of the apps available on tmobiles app page if its using at&t?
Not quite sure what you mean by T-Mobiles app page.
The phone will run any app that is written for the version of Android OS it is running (ie 1.5, 1.6 or 2.0). Beyond that there are two main streams of the OS (HTC and Google). Certain apps depend on the HTC framework to run. If you have a phone with just the Google framework, these apps will not run. If this is the case and you desperately wanted that app you could flash a ROM that has the HTC framework, and it would run.
You can loads apps from the Market using the Market app. You can also load apps from the net, or from your computer via USB.
An example of this is the Canadian Rogers Magic, a 32a device. It is based on an HTC ROM which meant you got a nicer HTC dialer, along with some craplets from Rogers. When I flashed it to RA-IONv1.6.2H, which is a Google based ROM I lost the ability to run the nicer dialer, however the Google ROMs seem to run faster.
Ah ok I understand, I think i just called it the wrong name. Thanks man!
I have noticed, happily, that apps I have purchased for my EVO are still paid for and available for use with my tab. I have been using AppBrain instead of Titanium to put my apps back on after a ROM flash.
Can I sync my tab without effecting the list of what is on my phone? I guess I could go the Ti route but I kinda like not have another backup saved on my card (in addition to one saved in recovery).
I've synced my phone and my tablet with AppBrain and have not noticed any problems or missing apps or the like.
Outta curiosity, can you check the AppBrain website and see if shows a separate list for the tab?
Thanks!
Hey gents. Just wanted to say how much I'm loving this G Tablet first off.
But I just wanted to leave a little tip you may have used. If you enable Fast Web Install in AppBrain, you'll be able to search the entire marketplace and install apps that even don't show up in the Android Marketplace after the fix.
For example, I used it to install Vplayer Alpha as I prefer it to Rockplayer just bit. I couldn't find it in the Android Marketplace and I wasn't too sure about the APK file I downloaded to sideload.
Luckily, Fast Web Installer + AppBrain = No need for Android Marketplace.
@goalweiser - I see VPlayer Beta (I think it's no longer Alpha) in Market currently, after my extended Market Fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=861044), although I've made a few additional tweaks to build.prop now so not certain it will be there for you.
But thanks for sharing the AppBrain Fast Web Installer tip, I wasn't aware of that one.
Thanks for the tip on the Beta...need to update! It was updated on my Evo and I didn't even notice.
That said, my AppBrain account doesn't necessarily seem to be syncing both ways. I can't seem to get the same apps on both my Evo and GTab without downloading them manually.
I'll probably just create another account for the GTab all together.
I see both my Evo and my GTab separately within the same gmail account logged into AppBrain... Look on the left-hand side, they group them according to device.

Click to collapse

appbrain sync
pray tell, how do you sync appbrain to your g tablet ?
I've been noticing that I am unable to download/install apps from the Android Market Place that have anything to do with using a camera. I saw today that there is now a full Google Docs app, but the Market Place will not allow me to download and install it. I confirmed this by going to the Market Place's website and it said that it wasn't compatible with my device. I am currently running CM7 Stable so the only thing I can see that would be a problem is the lack of a camera on the nook.
Is there anyway around this outside of waiting for someone to create a .apk package for it?

Works great. Wish the market would get a clue
Apparently there will be a camera spoof in an upcoming CM7 nightly for this reason.
I have searched the forums, and performed some "fixes", but I still can't download certain apps from the market. Specifically Yahoo FantasyFootball this time, but there are others that also say "device not compatible" when I try to download them from the market. Specs are:
Android Version 2.3.3
Kernel 2.6.32.36-cyanogenmod
ROM VEGAn-7.0.0-RC1-Harmony
Build number GRI40
Any help would be appreciated!

Should this be moved to a different category?
This is the one that I used. I went through about 5 before I found this one. Been working great for me. Same kernel, VEGAn version and build, hope this helps.
I could not see Yahoo Fantasy Football 11 in Market as well, but a Market fix made it show up. I hadn't done one of these Market fixes in a while, as I could find the apps I needed with a build.prop olympus hack. So try...
Bringup Market , press Home to put it in background.
Settings->Applications->System Applications->Market->clear cache, force stop
Google Services Framework->clear data-> Force stop.
Bringing up Market now should give you an error.
Reboot
Wait a few minutes before bringing up Market after reboot.
Sometimes you need an extra reboot at this point.
This made Yahoo Fantasy Football show up in Market (the new Market) for me. Also some more apps show up as requiring update which did not before.
I am running TNT Lite 4.4

A little backstory: As most of you probably know, you are/were able to run up to 4 instances of most apps on your phone. One download from Play Store, one from Galaxy Store, then repeat inside Secure Folder. Obviously with apps like Facebook, you could also use the Dual Messenger feature to run yet another instance.
I'm assuming the October update broke that feature, as I was prompted to update Pokemon Go today (I manage four accounts on one device) and it wouldn't let me update because it's already installed. At the time the issue store, I could access 3 instances that were already up-to-date (both Play Stores and one Galaxy Store). Thinking it was just a glitch, I uninstalled the working Galaxy Store version and tried to reinstall. Would not install, citing that it's already installed. So I uninstalled one Play Store download. Same thing.
In conclusion, I went from four working versions to three, and finally two (one from each store).
So my question is: has anyone else come across this issue AND does anyone have a workaround/solution?
My first thought would be to just downloads the updated APKs via a mirror, but I don't know the phone decides whether to overwrite or install a second instance (that is, how does it install the second instance and is there a way to force it to do that instead of overwriting?) I've also considered downgrading, but I'm on a Snapdragon phone and I /do/ want to stay as updated as I can.
I know it seems like such a minor thing, but it's pretty important to me to be able to manage my accounts on the fly without extra devices or constant logging in/out.
