Q: Should I wipe before flashing this update?
A: You should always wipe between rom updates. No wipe, No gripes!
Q: Wifi Connectivity Problems?
A: Make sure Wifi is set to always keep wifi on during sleep under wifi settings/advanced
Q:What governor/scheduler combo do you recommend
A: I recommend and run pegasusq governor and sio scheduler.
Q: I'm having battery/lag issues?
A: For optimal performance you need to be on the .246 ICS OTA since that is what this is based off of. No complaints if not on the ICS OTA.
Q: I'm thinking about making a mean or annoying comment?
A: Don't, its not taken kindly and you can expect the same type of comment back, if you don't like my rom, don't use it.
Q: I'm having xyz problem?
A: For any general problems, first try a reboot along with a cache and dalvik cache wipe along with a read through the thread!!

Are the Notification Toggles customizable?
Thanks

Posted the screenies for you bro, no the toggles are not customizable but have all the major ones youd want

Awesome! Installing now, and looking forward to the results.

Looks sharp and great work!!! Sorli...

Beautiful rom! Been on this gem for a few days and everything is working great. Only issues are beats audio doesn't work for me and I can't get hotspot, or foxfi to work. Other than that.... this rom is a beast!

Great Rom

This rom lags to much! One you install apps on it, you'll see what i mean. There's only like 8 stock ring tones, beats audio has issues, you cant customize the pull down widgets, couldn't get rotation to work. Lock screen is very laggy, sometimes i couldn't unlock the phone. Hot spot or teathering doesn't work. Not worth the flash, uninstalled.

Wow that's a lot of issues. I've ran this rom hard on ss3.0.5 on one of the slots and had virtually none of those issues. Beats doesn't work but other than that it was flawless. And the only way you can customize pulldown toggles is on aosp, not blur, unless you can dev. Lol
But that sucks for you. Every device is different though.
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda premium

Not a big problem but every now and then my phone won't launch apps. I could be doing something wrong but I have to restart the phone to get it to work. Still love this rom though. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Still a beautiful rom.

I'm enjoying the all the roms and hard work you seem to be putting into the developing community there man!

@Furioustylez
When reporting a issue with a ROM - like lags or FC's - it would be WAY more helpful to provide meaningful feedback in the form of logcat logs or detailed instructions on how to reproduce the problem.
@sbreen94
You being the OP and developer of the ROM doesn't mean you can go ahead and bomb on users reporting a issue, let alone calling them out being a "troll" for doing so. Also, double-posting because you forgot to include a quote you could have easily put into the first post ... please get used to how the forum works.
I cleaned up your little argument, and hereby you two consider yourselves warned. You two didn't stick to our rules about how people are supposed to engage and interact with each other (throwing insults back and forth isn't the right way).
Stay civil and be nice.

loving the ROM. JB has a few too many bugs to be my DD...this seems to be perfect so far

Thanks man, glad you like it!

can I flash this ROM with bootstrap instead of safestrap?

The rom includes some gsm or global support?

Internet dialing with built in dialer?
Another great ROM.
One thing I have been asking for someone to try to figure out since day one is how to enable the internet dialing in the built-in dialer - where you can setup accounts for VOIP. The moboblur roms have this feature removed - all the AOSP or whatever ROMS have it - but none of those have HDMI or lapdock ability.
My dream is to have built-in VOIP and lapdock working in the same ROM..hahaha - but thus far no one has done it.
You have any ideas?
Thanks!

Oxygen is an AOSP source built ROM (ie. not a mod of any sense based ROM), it's minimal, it's superfast and mostly bugfree.
As Oxygen is not a mod/port of CM or any other ROM and may not be to everyones liking, it's minimalistic and basic but I'm open to ideas and suggestions for improving the ROM.
Features
Android v2.3.4 (GRJ22) built from AOSP
Linux kernel v2.6.35.x
Minimal Google apps
Superuser
Busybox
Additional features
Adhoc wifi network support
Advanced power menu with reboot options
Customizable overclock settings
Customizable status bar power widget
Download any file type
Enhanced auto backlight settings
Facebook contacts sync
Headset Icon
HSPA Icon
Improved widget picker
Long press back to kill mod
Modified Launcher2 with quick uninstall
Optional battery percentage
SIP calling over 3G
Text reflow when zooming
Track change with volume buttons
Various other tweaks and features
Installation
A wipe is required when first flashing Oxygen, however, unless otherwise stated, no wipe is needed to upgrade between versions.
Download update-oxygen-xxx-signed.zip to your sdcard storage on your HTC Desire
Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery through whatever method you choose (ROM Manager, Power + Volume Up, ADB etc...)
Back up your existing installation
[First flash only] Use the volume keys and power button to select Wipe Data
Select Install Zip from SD Card
Find the update-oxygen-xxx-signed.zip file you downloaded earlier
Scroll through all the No's and hit Yes, install update-oxygen-xxx-signed.zip
Wait for the installation to finish
Select Reboot
After initial reboot, reboot a second time and you're all set

Android development is a hobby for me, the Android community has been good to me and I enjoy what I do, I don't do it for any personal gain or gratification so if you like Oxygen and would like to show appreciation for the time and effort me and other people have put into it then I would very much appreciate it if you could donate to the 'childhood leukaemia' charity I support, you can donate via Paypal or by card/cheque, thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks for donating if you choose to .

Finally!
I loved Oxygen to Desire, now it will be to my new Nexus S aswell! Great!
Damn!
This "test" rom is fast and smooth, and I haven't encountered any bugs. Ran my normal WiFi, camera and GPS tests and all work perfectly.
Thanks OP!
Finally it's official
BTW:
I created my "Black" theme for the Nexus S. You can download it HERE and you will find screenshots HERE
Unfortunatley, this theme does not have a transparent notification area, I'm still looking for the reason.
Good seeing you here adam
This is what I've been looking for, thank you!
great! downloading the testbuild now.
i already used oxygen on my desire and loved it. nice to have you here now, adam!!!
keep up your great and amazing work
Since almost all people here are ex desire users raving about this rom .. Can some of you tell me why this rom is special ?
Great ROM. Ad-Hoc is a must for me so I'll be keeping my eyes on this.
Will use it as daily driver if you add CM7 Hebrew/Arabic & RTL support.
Thank you!
how about making notif bar and dialer transparant ? =p.. and some theme to choose for other (optional)..

Because on Desire Oxygen is simply the Best ROM. Fastest, bug-free, long battery life, hackfree.
I tried some ROMs on Nexus S (after I came from Desire) and non of that give me that profit like Oxygen on Desire.
Right now I preparing my Nexus for flash Oxygen-TEST

Not a former desire user raving about the rom here. Flashed for the 1st time this morning. Here's what I think is so "special" about this rom (imao, of course):
1. First thing I noticed is how fast it is and that it feels really quick.
2. Clean, stock gingerbread. No themes or themed icons, notifications, etc. Just Android.
3. No bloatware at all. Not even wallpaper and live wallpaper bloat. Sweet.
4. The OP's mods add a nice touch to things and are really useful -- the reboot w/ options mod, optional battery %, optional notification power widget mod, long press back to kill app mod, browser reflow mod.
5. Ability to move all apps, not just user apps, to sdcard.
6. Even though this is a "test" release, I haven't noticed any bugs. GPS, WiFi, and BT all work great for me. No FC's either.
Overall, I think this rom offers the benefits of CM7 w/o the bloat of CM7. The other thing I think is cool is that the dev wants donations for this rom to go to a charity that he supports. I've never seen anyone on xda do that before. That's the kind of dev I want to support. Plus its a great rom.
Running Oxygen-TEST and I miss NFC settings and app.
Oxygen on nexuss !!great my desire loved that rom, nice work adam!

[ROM] Thriller v1.1.0 - (2/23/12) - Working download link

Thriller Froyo
Features:
-Based on Thrill 4G shipping firmware
-Rooted
-Busybox
-Fully deodexed and zipaligned
-Removed resource hogging bloatware: Amazon Kindle, AT&T Code Scanner, AT&T FamilyMap, AT&T Hot Spots, AT&T Navigator, AT&T Live TV, Books, Car Home, Facebook, Get 3D Games, Gulliver's Travels, Movies, myAT&T, OmaDmclient, Polaris Office, Protips, Qik Lite, Twitter, Voice Dialer, and YPmobile
-Tastefully themed
-Battery icon with percentage display
-No "AT&T" text in the status bar and no locked AT&T browser bookmarks
-Extra notification sounds and ringtones from CM7
-Nexus boot animation
-Extended power menu with reboot option (haven't been able to get a working recovery option yet)
-Option to set screen timeout to never
-Unrestricted USB tethering and Wi-Fi hotspot functionality
-Vastly improved network performance over stock (HSDPA category raised from 8 to 10)
-Tweaked GPS settings
-Ad blocking via hosts file
-Updated Google apps
-AppWidgetPicker (organizes widgets into groups when using third party launchers)
-Swype
v1.0.1 Changelog (Nuking LG's awful theme one PNG at a time):
-Removed "AT&T" text from the status bar
-New wired headset status bar icon (I accidentally left the awful LG one in before)
-Fixed the airplane mode pulldown toggle animation
-Themed a lot of framework elements: lockscreen glow, call answer sliders, list and grid item selection highlights, buttons, dropdowns, text boxes, etc.
v1.0.2 Changelog:
-Fixed Flash video playback
-Improved GPS performance (changed a few AGPS settings)
-Disabled the AT&T shutdown animation
-Themed a couple more framework elements
The following changes require a fresh install or factory reset to take effect because they are set on first boot:
-Much better network performance. Set HSDPA category to 10. It was set to 8 by default. Really AT&T? Advertise it as a 4G device and then limit it to 3G speeds? Anyways, I'm not even in an HSPA+ area and my download speeds jumped from around 2.5Mbps to over 4.0Mbps.
-Removed the locked AT&T browser bookmarks and set the default home page to Google.
v1.0.3 Changelog:
-Unlocked USB tethering and Wi-Fi hotspot functionality
-New messaging app theme
-Full package now flashes our stock kernel (so we can get back after flashing an Optimus 3D rom)
-Full package no longer wipes data and cache for you (so people who are a few versions behind can still update without losing everything)
v1.0.4 Changelog:
-New battery icon with percentage display
-Removed the device management client service. It was running and using up resources in the background. Carriers use this service to monitor and change settings on your device and push OTA updates.
-Themed check boxes and radio buttons
-New addon to revert to the previous battery style if you don't want to watch the battery drop one percent at a time
-Updated Market (only in the full package)
v1.0.5 Changelog:
-Added an option to set screen timeout to never
-Removed Software Update from "Settings > About this phone" since we no longer have the device management client service (Requires a fresh install or factory reset to take effect)
-Themed the in-call status bar to fix a visual inconsistency and make it more readable
-Updated addons with the latest changes
v1.1.0 Changelog:
-Ditched TouchWiz icons in favor of Ice Cream Sandwich icons
-Themed Dialer, Contacts, and Browser
-Updated a few theme elements in Messaging
-PNG optimized framework and all of the themed PNGs within apps
-Updated Maps, su, and Superuser
-Updated addons with the latest changes
-Removed Wifi Controller widget (it's pointless)

Thanks for the screenies. How is your speed with the bloatware removed and the other stuff? Better? Also out of curiosity did you remove the stock Launcher for those of us who like that more than launcher pro or whichever one you have in there. Just wondering, if not that's cool.

I didn't run it long with the bloatware so I can't really tell ya. I'm sure there's a small improvement, but I wouldn't expect a huge difference. I didn't remove the stock launcher because I thought some people might like it. That's it in the screenshot. Was considering going with ADW, but you can always install that from the Market yourself.
So I did a backup of Stock Rom and guess where it stores the backups. Not the SD Card where I thought it would go. Nope stores it to the phones storage. So yea for those of you who are like WTF I did a backup and can't find it, try looking at your phones stroage.
K I think it's safe for consumption. Link is up.

The problem with build prop tweaks is that they are typically device specific. Probably at least 80% of the tweaks either don't work on our device or would cause bugs for us. It would be a real pain trying all of those tweaks and there's no good way to tell which ones work and which ones don't work or make things worse. I typically only implement tweaks that I fully understand and that make a noticeable difference. I don't just throw random tweaks in and hope for the best. The placebo effect will deceive you every time if you do that.
I really don't know how those tweaks would work on the O3D and not ours, that only has a different radio and the rest is the same but I am not a dev so I will take your word for it.
Hey gtg, lay off the booze and post it in dev next time, eh?

I really like your work this is going to be great! Just curious if Netflix works on your rom? Also, the gullivers travels ( for my kid lol) and find 3d games I will want to keep so I'm going to rip the apk files to my sd card, but I wonder if they will show back up in the 3d space when I install? For the people out there who want more bloatware than me is there a bloatware file you could make? Thanks a whole bunch, that was some quick work.
Just instilled, likening the theme a lot, status bar looks very classy

[ROM] Bionic Eclipse ICS v1.2.1

Welcome to Eclipse for the Droid Bionic. As I normally do with my Motorola builds I remove just about as much blur as I can and replace them with their AOSP counterparts. I have compiled the AOSP apps against the Bionic framework for the best compatibility. All the AOSP apps are from my modded AOSP eclipse source. So they do come with extra goodies!
Things to know:
If you like blur apps such as Smart Actions, the blur widgets (this includes the contacts widget), or anything that says Motorola this is not the rom for you. If you do not like everything blacked out/inverted then this is not the rom for you.
Instructions:
You must be running some flavor of ICS to be able to run this rom.
Installation instructions:
1. Boot into safestrap - tested with v3.05
2. Wipe Data/factory reset
3. Install Eclipse Bionic ICS zip (install takes a little while)
4. Boot phone (Initial boot takes a little while)
5. Profit from its beauty

One item in the stock ICS release I can NOT find anywhere is the Task Syncing with my Exchange Server - none of the N7 ROMs or stock has this option. I enjoy your ROMs, you do great work. Would you happen to know if your ROM has the ability to sync corporate/exchange Tasks? If not, is it in the form of an APK that one can snarf out of the original ROM?
Oh I might have to give this one a shot. Thanks, Nitro!
EDIT:
Working great so far!
Do you know if the car or desktop dock support audio passthrough? (does the headphone jack or the plug on the dock itself output the audio when the phone is docked?)
Thanks. Can't wait to try it out either way!
Edit: The pass through audio does work (at least in the car dock)
Two questions.
1. Does the phone dialer have the ability to add VOIP accounts? Something that is missing from the blur builds...
2. Does webtop/hdmi work? Something that is missing from the AOSP builds.
I know you pointed this out on your forums, but it would be great if you could get the camcorder working.
Everything else runs awesome. Thanks.

The camcorder works just fine. Are you still running the preview build from earlier that day?

Photosphere doesn't seem to be working for me. Initial picture is fine but moving the camera to the next position is nearly impossible.
Otherwise this is probably the best ROM I've used since eclipse 3 and stock .246. Great work!

I installed this ROM on a friends phone and he was complaining about battery drain being worse than bloated stock ROM.
Is anybody else experiencing this? Any ideas on what the issue might be?

Battery drain is a bit of a problem. Android os is killing me, and I haven't figured out culprit yet.
You have an app keeping the phone awake. Install a battery monitoring app to figure out what is doing it.

ok i so i was on eclipse 3.0 for the longest time and i heard ics came out and so i updated and saw this rom so i flashed it and now its boot looping.... help ? i guess i can just RE-FXZ ics and start over ?
Edit: never mind found my problem
If you used safe strap you can try pulling battery and going back into recovery and try wiping data and then reboot.
I went ahead & installed it to answer these questions.
Yes. HDMI / WebTop work.
The other question I had was does the dailer have internet calling - which is a no.

It's true. I usually lurk here or post if something is needed. I just go around flashing all the new releases and trying them all out to see which ones work best for me. I might be trying this one in the next few days. On another note, SG's CM10.1 also has 10k downloads.
Yeah, I'm going to flash this one and see how it's like. I've been trying out SG's 4.2.2 but the phone won't go to sleep when the screen is off and so it is constantly draining, besides that it's great.
Happy Flashing!

Been waiting for this... Thanks Tim. Been using AOSP build 6 as my main phone nandroid. Flashed all the others, but nothing compares to AOSP for cleanliness. Flashing Update now.
This ROM is working good so far except for some issues I'm having. I use GPS all the time because I use the MapMyRun app everyday. I noticed that GPS does not work. I tried Google Maps to see if it was a bug with the other app. Maps couldn't find a GPS signal. I don't know if it's just me or a bad install and I'm wondering if others have a working GPS.

Have you tried rebooting your device? I use Runkeeper with GPS for my running activities & I occasionally have to reboot the phone to get a GPS lock, especially if I turn GPS on and Off alot... Not sure what the issue is with my phone but I have been seeing it since I got it in December on the stock ROM.

You're a runner too? Nice! I did a full power down and reboot and it won't find a GPS signal. I know what you're talking about when you turn GPS on/off and it doesn't work until a reboot. I think it's some glitch with the custom roms. I would normally turn off GPS because my geosocial networking apps would randomly search for gps signal and drain my battery. The stock rom works fine on my phone, but it feels so ancient. ha ha

FAQ
Ok, here a litte list of questions that has come in this young thread repeatedly:
[Q]Why is my battery draining so bad ?
[A1]: You have installed the rom in the last 24h. let it settle a little bit, jugde the battery after the initial day
[A2]: Change Location service to "Device only" because with Mobile and Wifi additionally it drains battery like hell on kitkat
[Q]Is eMail/Exchange/Google Dialer/Google Keyboard/Google Camera in this rom ?
[A]No, this is a fully deploated Rom. We advice you to use Banks GApps and then Banks Gapps-Addons for addition stuff you need, so you can set your system like you want it
[Q]Will you add Theming support/Pie/Halo to this rom ?
[A]No, this feature will never ever under no circumstance make their way to PSX
[Q]Is OT allowed ?
[A]We not only allow OT here, but encourage our user to do some OT stuff to make this thread a happy home for all PSX user
[Q]can you make me a baby ?
[A]Sorry, I allready have two children, I think one more of that kind would be to much for this world
Great job, Slvan.
More than happy to see more 4.4 rom coming out!
BTW, features request form is a terrific idea!
Looks very promising, I will probably try it out while I wait on a fully functional Carbon 4.4 or Cyanogen 4.4. Strange thing about front camera, it doesn't work with native app but it seems to function just fine in a 3rd party app such as Snapchat (with skeevy's deodexed ROM). I love the fact that Argh kernel is integrated in this ROM though.
Could we get an explanation for the PSX Add-ons? I'm not sure what all those are for.

Gotcha. Thanks!
Also, not sure if this is ART or 4.4 or what, but ART just doesn't like Titanium Backup. I booted in, awesome rom, restored all my apps, switched to art, and TiBu FC'd right off the bat. This has happened on AOSP and CM also. Not sure what's wrong but it doesn't seem to be isolated to one ROM.

Work on the Frameworks for Tethering bug
Hey Guys the only way to make the Google dialer to work full was by having the aosp dialer installed as well so if you don't want to see both cameras please use AppHidder from the Play Store and hide the aosp dialer. Do NOT disable the camera from app manager or it will not work. Do this at least until I fully port the app to work for our devices
