well, the sound sucks even on original headphones when using voodoo sound... if i disable voodoo sound, the sound is very low and buzzing.
maybe it`s the jack ... maybe it`s broken, but it works beautifully on my car aux.
You mean earbuds then? If so, then yes, the original plugs are utter trash. Have you tried with a decent mid range headset, like Koss portapro, sennheiser px100 or something similar?

Also a silly thing that is easy to overlook, is if you use some sort of silicon jacket or protector for your phone, some jacks won't get plugged in all the way, so you'll get issues like the ones you describe.

I've heard they're not that good but I think they're great. They have lots of bass.
I've compared them with ridiculously priced ones from HMV (which do bounce about on your head a bit) but they have some bass on them.

Your question?
I like them too, i tried to get a replacement pair from sony chat services and they were very reluctant, they really wanted me to buy some livesound headphones from them for £79 but i got them from play.com, they are very good (bass heavy)
They are utter crap if you ask me. Sure they have some bass. But bass is far from everyting. Where's the treble? It's pretty much non existant. The difference is so huge with better earphones. Why be happy with the Sony ones when you can get other ones with better bass and much much better treble.

I use a pair of Audio Technica M50 earphones and the sound is amazing. Sure they are bulky but I don't care =D
they sound good on the xperia play only any other device and they wont play any good sound best headphones ever are bluetooth rocketfish for 57 bucks
I still think they're OK.
Short of paying tens, if not hundreds, of pounds.

I removed the filters and they are loud as.
The volume is weaker when compared to my other ear phones. Sound quality wise, it's just ok (I'm not an audiophile).
I was just thinking today how good the stock headphones are. What are people expecting from stock supplied headphones?
Just looked at the MW600 and that does look sweet.
I just realised that I could plug in normal headphones without a microphone and still make and receive calls using the phones Mic
The stock ear cans do have decent bass, the problem is everything else is really really muddy and the bass is just booming there isn't much definition.

i use my sennhieser hd202 for music and a bluetooth for calls
the stock are ok but i do love my music nice and crisp
If the stock earphones aren't that good then I'd love to try some other ones.
If there's one thing I've noticed about them it's that sticking them up your nostrils then yawning, it doesn't make it sound as though the sound is coming from inside your head as much as others I've tried.

Would reccomend sennheiser.
Or 3. Its just a question about taste.
I'm listening to 30% dubstep, 30% rap and 40% rock/punk rock. And sennheiser works like a charm

Skullcandy!
You really must try the skullcandy earphones. They're really good. I've bought them because my old ones broke, and I must admit, the sound quality is much better than my previous ones (JVC).
i dont know about specific earphones but my experience, they lack bass bit heavily so go for earphone that can support heavy bass?

Hey all, I was considering buying a pair of these bad boys. I was also considering getting the apt-x transmitter for another $50 with them. So a pair of Bluetooth headphones and the transmitter for about $150 American. Thoughts? Suggestions?
I really would like to buy a good pair of Bluetooth headphones, but not in ear buds or anything behind the neck. I was wondering if these looked good to anyone or if there's another pair I should get instead.
Thanks in advance guys!

Well.
The most popular ones are JVC, Beats, SkullCandy and Philips. In the nowaday market though....
Who knows why my bluetooth headset volume is so low?!
You could try using an app like Volume+ or Volume Control. Just search "volume" in the play store. They should be able to increase the output volume of your Bluetooth audio.

Making a list of headphones with remote button working on OB
(the remote button functions 100%, or the sound from the earbuds are as they should)
Some earphones are incompatible, or partially with our phone (remote button not working or sound is really messed up or no sound at all) probably due to the type of connector used on the headphone 3.5 jack (2-pin to 4-pin)
a-JAYS One+ - working
Philips Citiscape Underground - unknown
Philips SHE9005A - working
Samsung Stock Earphones - working
VIBE BlackAir - unknown
Beats Solo HD - working (partially)
Apple Headset - working (partially)
you tell us if yours work fine
So no reply? (
Maybe someone can share if they use a headphone (from sennheiser, philips, any brand) with 1 remote button for answering call/pause/resume music and confirm if their earphones work alright..
Sv: Lg Optimus Black headphone compatibility
Yes, i'm using 3 pin 3.5 mm headphones

Well, the sound is an individual thing.Someone likes more bass, someone more clarity, someone a flat sound and so on.But I agree that you cannot trust some other's ears.Especially old people as your dad is and I am.

Hi,
I bought this htc one a week ago, i bought it in black (used) but then i exchanged it with silver (used) paid some money on top.
ok lets come to the point. I saw reviews and all on the internet about the boom sound and the phone being very loud.
but i used those 2 phones and i dont find them loud or near loud. Its even lower than average sound. My 2nd phone iphone 4 is louder.
Does that means my htc is faulty or is it just me. i dont even use it anymore because it makes me sad that i have spent 400 quid on something that let me down on it.
i tried to reset and reinstall the software but the sound is as it is.
AM I WRONG?
Is the "Beats Audio" turned on on the main settings menu? It's a night and day difference if that isn't on.
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
The sound on the One is considerably louder than that on an iPhone. If beats audio is enabled and it is still quiet I would go back to your supplier as it would appear your device is faulty.

The most important thing I see here is that you paid more for a silver one than you did for the black, that's just plain wrong. Comments like this amuse me. You pay £400 for a second hand phone and you don't even use it simply because you don't think the volumes loud enough? What is the world coming to!!

Yes mate i paid a high amount because that phone wasn't easily available in the country where i bought it from lets say there would be a 100 pieces in the whole country at that time, and this phone had a lot of value. The black one dsnt looked so good when both of them placed side by side. i would change it again for the red one lol. The world isnt going no wher just because i dont use my phone because i think it isnt loud enough,

They're headphones. They will plug in. The only thing that would cause them to not work would be a case that obstructs the fitment of the jack to the port. I've plugged in many different head phones from cheap $2 sets to PowerBeats by Dre as well as Studio by Dre.

1) I moved this thread to the Q&A forum.
2) I've used the AT-M50s on every phone I've had and they work fine except the TPU case on some pushes out the headphone jack sometimes. So I take a razor and make the headphones hole a bit bigger on my case. Other than that you should have no issues.
These are still my favorite headphones, way better than any of the Beats and even the Bose in this price range. If they were a big smaller I would wear them at the gym, but for at home listening these headphones rule the world.

They sound really good out of the box.
The burn in time isn't incredibly long, I put some decent hours on mine and they just get better and better, but out of the box I found the sound quality to still be superior to any other cans in that class.
