what rom youre using??
have u turn off your phone while charging? cz sometimes if u turn it on and charge it, just some power can get in your battery,
First charge your phone to full 100%.
Now go to CWM recovery->Advanced->Wipe battery stats..
This might help you..

Happened to me last week.
Problem is that charging by USB is bad because its alot slower than by plug.
I was gaining power but loading it at the same time so in turn it only stayed on 47% all the time.
Weird

Yep!
One rule:
Never charge VIA USB! Its about 1% p/10mins
Always charge by plug! 9-10% p/10mins
MUCH BETTER!
Leave a thanks if I helped!
So, I was just charging my phone and i unlocked it, and was just
scrolling through the menu and BAM! it switched off!
I tried switching it on again, the phone would'nt boot, the light comes up for a sec and then switches off itself again!
and the same light would appear again, and again.
About 10 mins later, i put it for charge for about 30 Mins, it booted, but switched off half way through the boot animation.
I've lately been having some Major problems with my battery, If i charge it for 2 Hours, And I hardly get about 5 mins on Wi-fi,
is this a problem with my battery or is something wrong with my phone?
Im currently using Adrenaline v3 rom.
Please Help! Urgent!
It may be a hardware problem...now what you should do is flash a stock rom via ODIN...if the problem still persists, you best bet is sending it to the service centre and act dumb...

Just now, I connected a usb to comp and let it charge.
10 Mins later, i switched it on (till the samsung galaxy ace thing comes), and immediately connected it back to the computer.
Its switched on! and working fine!
Do I still need to flash stock rom via Odin?
Now I think Im sure its a battery problem
what do you think??

When I charge for 2-3 Hours, I get only 10-15 minutes!
So I tried installing some scripts on my phone, and managed to brick my phone so I flashed it back to default kernel and again installed gingerdx on my phone ... I charged it whole night ... when I woke up ...battery 100% ... I restarted my phone .... battery 40% ... DAFUQ ?! ... in proccess of restarting I cleared my battery stats ... now I am trying to use all the battery till 0% ... then recharge it to 100% and clear it again ...
But this never happened to me ... actually with gingerdx I had pretty great battery life ...
U got any idea what is going on?
I think u must do a wipe battery stats. If it aren't helped, post here.

Try using a different battery, just to make sure it's not your battery that's giving you problems.

Try wipe battery stats,if it doesn't help try to remove unnecessary apps, try to use some task killers(I don't suggest it though),try to change some settings.if battery drain its a known bug of the rom, wait for an update and/or meanwhile try another rom
If nothing helps, there may be problem with your battery,or there isn't any actual battery drain and you just expect too much from your phone

well I would just like .. you know, to have normal battery ... charge- 100% ... and by using the phone it will go: 100%-99%-98%-97% etc...
But right now it's like ... charging-100%, restart- 80% - 2 mins use - 65% ... It's kinda annoying ...
It's pretty ok right now guys .. I let it charge yesterday for maybe 5 hours, by one reboot it went to 98%..... but it's ok ... right now ... after about 12 hours of not charging and 30 min use, 2 min talk, battery is at 89% ...
I was running Sabsa Prime 8.5 on the Redux 0.8 Sabsa kernel when this happened.
I pressed reboot recovery from the power menu and the phone ran the shut down animation and the screen went black.
Unfortunately it never powered back on.
Now it shows no charge light, i have left the battery out for a good 10 minutes, tried running it without the battery, no luck.
I know it is not bricked, but, it has happened before and i never figured out how i fixed it.
I was also running 4ext touch recovery.
Thanks guys.

It's a issue with the battery + USB port.
Your battery drained to much probably because you plunged your device in and your device was charging as USB or not at all.
Plug battery and charger in, wait and look if it battery light is there, wait a bit and try to boot it again. Do you have blackrose?

The battery was fully charged about 5 minutes before this incident. but yes, i did try charging it without the battery in, and no charge light.
and yes, i am running blackrose.
i notice these sort of things happening a lot more after i updated to blackrose about a month ago.
cheers for the answer mate.

Unfortunately the phone will not respond at all.
previous times, i would repeatedly take the battery out, put it back in etc and it would boot.
last time i did it, i remember fiddling around with the charging connector a bit and the orange light came on.
what is strange, is that the phone usually charges fine without me fiddling with it :S
At least i know it isn't hardbricked
Thanks again

By dead cookies do you mean a dead ladies vagina? Cuz I'm not sure but I think you could still smell like p***y from a dead chick.

You must've mistaken "Crumpet" for "Cookies". Speaks a lot about your lack of baking skills in the kitchen and/or luck with the ladies.... Just kidding...

is most likely the battery or your charger. You should try replacing either one, or both
or
You are supposed to drain the battery completely before you charge it, phones also glitch a bit when you plug them in, the charge create a bit of a shock which affects the phones battery, as if to inform it that it is charging, I suggest just turning your phone off before putting it on the charger, then turning it back on while charging, it will save your battery life.
that what i found pls press thanks
Thanks both of you ,, I'll try to replace a New one.
